My Interview waiver appointment expired on 25thAugust and I have been searching for date since May and uptill now still couldn't find a date, what else can I do if not to try an agent to know if it work out. In fact i am even tired of all these appointment Stress,honestly

This was my situation too oh! Las las i had to use agent to get an IW date oh. My husband who was fresh application had to also use the agent. Our appointment is next week. But different dates though. I don't know why tye embassy has made it impossible for people to get earlier dates. They leave us to the mercy of agents

Hello house, i applied for a short stay, single entry france tourist visa with my family since 25th of sept. 2018 and our actual travel date is 25th of oct. 2018. We are yet to get a reply from the embassy and today is 19th pls can anyone help? Got a tracking message which states that it has been forwarded since 27th of september. Tried calling them them no ans.

Vo-kept repeating same thing as if her life depended on it (as thou my cousin is lieing after explaining to her dt d visa is just to let her in bfr receiving her biometric residence permit) upon arrival in the Uk she looked at it acted as thou she was gonna issue the visa then gv her back her passport wt the refusal letter.

My cousin is so pissed as to why the vo wont just have asked her to bring the residence permit proof since dt seems to be her problem because seems have read here once that when they want one to bring or show a proof or document then they give another form and timeframe for the applicant to bring it. Please what do you all think is the problem here? And what can she do?

The VO Believes that she will not comeback after childbirth,the way she did when she went to study in the UK and Stayed back or overstayed her visa to do her UK resident permit. They are always looking for a way to refuse people these days,so once they are not satisfied with your answers,they refuse immediately. She can Reapply,May Be another VO will look at it from another angle. Good Luck

Hello House. My Wife submitted her application since 20th of Sept and uptil now we haven't heard anything from VFS, accept the mail they sent informing her that her application has been forwarded to the France Embassy on the 21st of Sept. Should we call them or wait till its out?

[/quote Once he uses Air france, his port of entry will be France and thats where his stamps will bear, Both Arriving and when he eventually goes back to Naija,.Any first Schengen country you arrive will be your Port of Entry and thats where your passport stamping will also be done.Because his flight to Rome will be just a connecting Local smaller flight.

So far its Schengen Visa, He or She can travel direct to any Schengen Country. Unless the visa is only for France,Not Schengen.

Then it would have been better if your wife applied alone since none of you has ever gotten a US Visa Before,Then you and your kids will be her strong ties at home,. But nevertheless, since you people have already applied together, just arm yourself with necessary documents stated here which i am sure u must have read from here and pray for God's favor as well. US VO's are very unpredictable, You might be successful. Good luck to you and your Family.

Continue calling them, Your application has overstayed its welcome in the Embassy. I think they have forgotten it somewhere and i guess the longtime is a sign of positive result.

Just don't know why the embassy would not attend to visa issues for almost six weeks now.

Its so annoying, i don't know the work they do there apart from Visa issues that makes it impossible for them to return peoples passport by 2 or 3 weeks as stated by them.

Good evening house, please my interview is next week and I will be attending alone without my husband. I have an issue I’m facing now and I need your suggestions. I want to attend the interview with my husband’s personal account statement only, he made a lump transfer into the account this week though the transfer was from his company account. My questions are;
1. Will a lump transfer a week before my interview hinder my chances of getting the visa?
2. Should I highlight the lump transaction on the account statement and further explain to the VO that it’s from my husband’s company account when he/she asks for the statement or I should just keep quiet about it?

I don't think it will hinder your chances, since the money was transferred from his company account and he is the Sole sponsor,moreover it depends on whether his personal acct was well run(infow & outflow)before the Lump transter. Allow the VO to ask you about it if he see it Or be watchful when the VO starts to stare at your Statement of Account for long,then u can pop it up yourself just to be on a safe side,.All you need is to prove that the said transfer was made from his Company account with a proof e.g, Companies certificate incorporation and companies article of memorandum where his name was stated as the chairman or CEO of the company, & then explain further to the VO if more question arises. Moreover pray that VO won't see it as a Lodgement, because all VO's are not the same, they differ in their thinking and the way they see certain things. You might be Lucky that they wont even ask you those things before granting your Visa,it has happened to some people here, who came out successful but said that were not asked of their statement of Account & some other documents. GoodLuck.

What could have gone wrong? He didn't ask for any evidence/documents. we thought we were just getting started with the interview before the pink paper showed up. The guy was showing plenty person pink paper. Thought about avoiding him sha.
Please advise on how soon we can reapply and how to get a closer appointment date.
Also, what can we do differently next time.

The VO thought that you and your family are running away, thats why he started the interview by asking which school your son attends. So for u answering that he is not yet in school at 2yrs, he assumed that you want your son to start school in the US and that u and your family might not come back. Now they look for little excuses to refuse people Visas, alot of things that people get away with before doesn't work nowadays,. Your wife could have gone alone while you and your son,with your work becomes the ties at home,. Than your whole family applying the same time. Let her reapply alone,if she finds a closer date. but the date am seeing is January 2019. Good luck.

The fact remains that if you are planning a holiday abroad, which will cost you both at least 2,000 euros in plane fares and accommodation costs at a minimum, paying a deposit and possibly forfeiting a percentage of that deposit comes with the territory.

Honestly this Hotel reservation is always a very big problem,thats why i want to send money to my friend in france to book directly from the Hotel for 2 weeks and pay for 1 week for me with the option of cancellation & refund if the visa didn't come, and then send the reservation to me via Email. Because this reservation of a thing is very very Important.

I think it isn't late since its 2 weeks for visa processing, though it might exceed in some circumstances,but i have seen some people who got their visas in exactly 2 to 3weeks,. So u can apply and still got it before the conference starts,because they might consider your conference dates when handling your application. Goodluck!

There should be cover letter explaining your purpose of visit, your duration of stay, what you do and what you earn and also introduction letter from your place of work.

Also, I understand that you apply for tourist visa but the invitation letter there is from who?

Also these people don't always like it when someone is using sponsor for tourist visa unless the person is your close relation you bear the same surname with.

Please where can someone get the questionnaire form,is it at VFS office on the day of submission?

I'm thinking planned duration of stay in number of days is the total number of days you plan to stay in the Schengen region while the number of days planned in France for the coming year is the number of days you plan to stay in France next year. Someone should be correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

November is far, u need to apply earlier incase the outcome didnt favour u,then u will still have time to reapply again. So u better start early so far the Visa will still be 2years. So applying early wont do u any harm at all.

Please I used tourism visa to have my baby in the US however i sent the change of intent letter and got a response an hour later. At POE, i told them am in us to have my baby and for vacation also was then asked why i did not inform them at the embassy so i should the change of intent later. Showed prove that i have paid my doctor and hospital fee and still carried cash of $8k which they confirmed all and wished me a safe delivery. Sent my passport for dropbox renewal. Was invited for interview with my family. Was asked if i paid all my bills i said yes showed the VO zero balance letters but he still denied us visa. This happened in febuary then i was not even pregnant not planning to. However i just discoverd i am 5weeks pregnant. Please house what can i do to get my visa because i ll love to have my baby in d US. Thank you and sorry for the long post.

What u will do is to go for US B2 Medical visa, Go with necessary documents which have been mentioned here a lot of times and correspondences with your US Hospital and your US Doctor's acceptance letter and then finally tell the VO the truth about your pregnancy at the Interview.

Pls House, there is a place in the Online form where they asked if u will be visiting another schengen country other than France, What should i amswer there, because i dont want to say YES and the column of which countries and Dates will appear, But truly i want to Visit other schengen countries.My question is (1) Won't the Emabssy give me refusal because i want to Obtain their Visa and visit another country from France? (2) If i say No,will they Only Issue france Visa to me and not Schengen France Visa to travel to other schengen countries too? thats if am successful. I think u should have been more elaborate in your answers, U gave her direct answers,thats why she didn't ask to see any of your Documents. In the US Embassy,your mouth is your greatest asset,u need to use it well & leave the rest to God or get Denied. Like when she asked if your husband is travelling with u, u should have said No but he might join me later. How much do u budget for this trip, U should have answered 13500Usd & show her your budget sheet, Let her refuse it if she didnt want to see it than u waiting for her to ask u for it & if she accepts to see your Budget sheet,the next thing she will ask u will be,Can i see your statement of Account?. Do u have family there,U should have answered No but i booked a reservation with so so so suites,then he might ask to see the booking u made,. Have u traveled before, No, this will be my first if i am granted Visa. Your interview supposed to be more like conversation than just one word "No" or "Yes". wish u luck in your next interview.

Kindly advice, I am a new visa applicant.I made a mistake on my appointment schedule page.I mistakenly clicked on previously issued a B1/B2 visa which automatically took me to drop box and I confirmed drop box.Now, I tried to reuse my receipt voucher and it says invalid.I can’t do a Dropbox because I have never been issued a visa before. What do you advice I do so that I can get an appointment date for my visa interview.

All u can do is to call the Embassy and explain to them what happened, Make sure u have your passport and Visa payment details at hand before calling them,They will guide or Help u out with the problem.
