Hello all, my friend was just returned from Chicago Poe due to insufficient cash $7000. Her visa was cancelled. Please what can she do to reapply for visa and come back again within 2 weeks. Your feedback will be appreciated for those with similar experience
,.

I just felt for her,People are always warned here to avoid Chicago POE if u can, because they are not preggy friendly POE and because of some bad experiences people got there. I even saw on channels TV today about a report which suggests that Chicago police are racists. Pls its better to avoid that POE than telling the story that touches the heart.

Your wife is NOT entitled to ANY form of taxpayers funded program whatsoever period. You were granted visa based on the fact that you claimed you had enough funds to embark on this journey. So, did you lie at the embassy? Please, do the right thing. The image of the country is already in the toilet
I concour, Simple good advice.

Hello house.

Flew with Emirates from Abuja 1st April and landed Houston on 2nd April at 3:45pm. Straight to my POE story in summary

CBP: Took fingerprints and asks where r u going today?
Congrats on your successful POE. This Houston is sometimes difficult,But it could have been easier if you had enough cash with you.Because thats what started the whole long interview,Because when she was arguing with you about why you didnt make any payment to the intown suit, only to find out again that u didnt have enough cash with you and that escalated the whole interview more. Secondly u did well to stick to your initial answer about Good healthcare instead of changing your answer. All in all,Houston is a difficult POE which after all the questions u can still make it in,than Chicago that can send someone back after drilling someone with questions.

I came crying yesterday i couldnt get PTA. i had just 1k with me. I called travel agent to change my flight till Thursday hoping to get PTA. I couldnt risk it at POE. at 6pm, my brother who was expecting called if i had checked in. I said i was sorry i had delayed the flight. He was furious and ask me to leave the house immediately. Flight was 9.30. see race. we drove like Shumacher to the airport. Thank God i was quickly attended to cos of my belle. But my heart was still racing... Just 1k to show at the POE.

I can recall @omodadi telling me i will find favour just like @leakytribe yesterday. Lo and behold, POE went thus:

IO: why are you here
Me: On vacation and have my baby
IO: Just tell me you are here to have your baby. Dont lie. People are sent back because they lie
.
Congrats on your successful POE. Crossing the almighty Houston with 1k without hassles is something special,God has favoured you in a special way.

Points to note
1. This is a public Forum. That means opinions apart from yours can be aired.
2. The fact that opinions differ from yake them lacking in sense. Matter of fact she Made a lot of sense. If u fail to see it...your loss
3. Really? You can judge your own matter? U feel your questions were relevant? Were your questions brand new? Without your questions would the thread had come to a gringing halt? No. For people to have answered u meant it wasn't fresh to them yet they chipped in their 2 cents and now u label another person's views nonsense.
Smh

@happytbaby now I will ignore. grin
Ok oooo, one day someone will ask you whats the benefit of having a baby atall and am sure you will answer too,Good samaritan! Lol

Please don't call somebody's questions nonsense. The poster actually made valid points. Another Person Made a list of pros and cons. Yes there are cons to birthing in the US just like everything else in life.
U just put both on an imaginary scale and pick one side. If people called your questions back then nonsense u wudnt have been returning here
I called the question nonsense, because the benefits is like the difference between light and darkness.,moreover, this forum is for the people who wants to give birth in the USA for one reason or the other. not for someone who is trying to discourage others by saying that we are subjecting our children to future tax burden in the US, before even asking his or her question about the benefits of becoming a US citizen. So i see the writer more as a discourager than as a person who wants to know more. However, the question you said i asked back then was a relevant question concerning visa, which is in line with the forum, nothing more.

Let me answer Comfortina.

I think she really asked an honest question, I do not detect any sarcasm in her post. Life is a matter of perspectives.

Now to put things in perspective, let me start by saying my Maternal grandmother had 6 girls. One of them died from childbirth complications, the baby also died. One is 60 with no child and had two still births and one infant death, that makes 3 pregnancies. Another one is in her mid forties,

Its like you have time to waste by answering that kind of nonsense questions. You shouldnt have replied the question, because some people are just enemy of progress who are looking for some people to discourage,if not, how can someone in his or her right senses, after seeing the current situation of things in NIG now, and still asks whats the benefits of birthing in the USA and being an American Shmmm!!

Well spoken Justwise. Its good to handle it with caution,,because this will surely affect the man in a bad way and will definitely tear their family apart. She should discuss with her husband and seek his opinion before taking her final decision on how best to approach the man to resolve the matter amicably with some apologies coming from the man after that.
justwise:

I know people have been telling you to report to the police or agency so as to deal with him but I disagree. Yes what he did was wrong and disgraceful but you will do more harm than good by getting him arrested and subsequently a criminal record. You will tear your family apart and make a lot of enemies.

Have a word with him and make your feeling known without holding back your displeasure about his behaviour and get this resolved amicably

I am in support of 1,2 and 4,we all know that the reason for birthing in the u.s is to secure the future of our kids(blue pali)and quality medical care is but a fraction, hence 3 is not an option, she shouldn't have lied but then again she wasn't aware that it is legal to birth in the u.s.My take on this is to travel and come back if the cash is available and you are not showing already,
For this Dollar wahala, u are telling her to Travel and come back.I prefer the 2nd one.

Honey bunch. In my humble opinion the problem transcends the passport. Why? Your interviews are transcribed and stored which is why they keep on referring to it.Soo new passport or not, its on the system. U have been refused 3 times abi? With different combo of alone and with oga?
I believe u should tackle those visas. Uk is pretty easy to get if u fulfill all righteousness.
For me,Its better she renew her passport & try US,for thats what she need. because if she renew her passport and try those france or UK again ,they might reject her thereby spoiling her new passport with their useless stamps again & making her US dream child more Difficult to Achieve, So let her continue With US on her new passport. if not that the VO saw those stamps the VO wouldnt have known that she was rejected visas in France & Uk. And the VO should have atleast ask her some questions or atleast have a look at her documents before rejecting her and u know that when the VO starts asking questions, then its good for the Applicant, because those questions might lead to visa issuance. But seeing those stamps made the VO to reject her outrightly. Someone on this forum got her visa on the 3rd trial with virgin passport and A lot of people as well. Some families even got their visas with virgin passports and without travelling experience at all. So if she can handle it, let her try one more time she might be lucky this 3rd time.

Plz house am so confused if I should reapply again or just let it go plz help a sister your response is very important to me thou will be renewing my passport soon coz it will expire soon and I think the UK nd France refusal is part of the problem am having Coz the vo asked why I got those stamps and no traveling experience so no document checked again this second time plz help me
I think its better u renew your passport, since the expiry date of the old one is around the corner and apply alone, u will get it this time,Thats if u still have time before your delivery date.If not, forget it,because Those stamps are an i saw, especially when u dont have any travelling experience as shown on your passport. Renew your passport and make sure u are well prepared both financially & documents wise as well, before applying again so that They wont have another excuse to give u again. Dont be demoralized, because some people has been rejected up to 3 times before they got it on their fourth trial. Wish u success this time around.

Fellow Naira land people oo. We arrived Houston last weekend and we just realized the guy who stamped us in didn't put the normal timeline of 6months when we are suppose to leave. Abeg ooo, help what does this mean because we declared am here to deliver ooo. Help me ooooo
It doesnt matter, Thats popular with Houston POE. When my wife went through Houston POE Last year for Vacation it was the same Stamping without any duration. So normally if it was stamped without any duration it means u have your normal six months which u must not Overstay. Its not a problem at all.

U are Right, After using her first B1/B2 Visa for childbirth, she has renewed her B1/B2 visa recently. The problem is that she also wants an F1 US visa(Student Visa) But was denied. May be she also wants to study in the US notwithstanding that she already have B1/B2 valid visa in her passport which is not meant for studying in the USA. so she wants to know the implication of her using her valid B1/B2 visa for child birth next year. In my own opinion i dont think she will have any problem next year when going for another childbirth since her current Visa covers for child birth. Just Notify the Embassy of your change of plan, arm yourself with necessary documents including the receipts for your past baby delivery and Have a good cash at hand, then u are good to go. They felt that u have another thing in mind and only want u to continue with the B1/B2 visa u have..
LadyGuinivere:

Do u have a problemv I think not
Do u have a valid visa? Yes
Is it illegal to birth in the US? No
What was their problem with u? U did not notify them of your intention.
So send them an email doing so. U can search the thread for notification of intent email

U are talking Rubbish, how can u look at project of this magnitude and said that i does not exceed 100million Naira? Have u build a project before? because if have,u would have known how much a plot of land is,not to talk about this kind of acres of land and then the project itself and the furnishing with ultra modern facilities. Dont u ever talk what u dont know, may be because u hate PDP or AKPABIO.
Keneking:
Nonsense..how much was spent on this project angry

- a piece of land
- less than 50,000 blocks, roof and windows and other fittings
- open plan design
- partition
- fountain plant
- gateman house
- fence
- 2 gensets X 250 KVA each
- hospital equipment from Republic of China

Total costs not exceeding N100mil., sure that the amount would hit N100bn in the books of the State. Nonsense i repeat nonsense sad

Find attached a world-class hospital in Cape Town, it was built with almost N100mil.....Akpabio sef sad
