ON THE OWNERSHIP OF LAGOS! Lagos is a
Portuguese name meaning lagoon, the
name became needful when the invaders

place should give the name. The current

Yoruba is a misplaced priority and the

Recently,those of us who are conversant with political happenings in Nigeria,has been inundated with terms like 'Buhari's body language' or 'PMB's body language'!It is an expression coined by APC propagandist to explain away why certain positive developments that takes place even without any contribution from our 'Baba go-slow',probably as a result of measures put in place by former regime of GEJ.
Right now,it is a common knowledge that our economy is on the downward drive,one of the reasons being that PMB has failed to constitute an economic team that will help move the economy forward.The last visit of Mr.President to the united states of America,was reported to be a very disappointing one because as usual with this government,they went unprepared.But APC defence line would be nothing else than that Buhari's 'body language' has convinced Obama that Nigeria is indeed ready to fight corruption,security and our numerous economic challanges.
Finally,isnt it time the president and his retinue of propagandist save us this 'body language' and the president should hit the ground running.We need action,Nigeria is dying,we need a president who is prepared to revive our ailing economy.

Godfatherism if channeled positively may not harm the polity but
godfatherism as practised by the likes of Tinubu,Obasanjo etc is nothing short of occultism,as all sorts of evil are applied just to attain the common goal of dorminance,power,clannish control and megalomanism.It only strives against the common interest of the masses and revels with impunity,in the worst form of corruption known to mankind.

Am not my dear,its just that i kept seeing beaf among Yorubas,Fayose vs Obasanjo,FFK vs Tinubu,Fashola vs Tinubu,Ambode vs Abgaje,Bode George etc its just an innocent observation.

Why is there so much hate among Yorubas,if its not Modakeke vs Ife tribal war,or the Alaye boys in one street attacking the Alaye boys in another street,or the battle of touts on who governs a particular motor park, yoruba politicians vs their elders,Obas vs their followers,or the Odis in Ode refered as slaves by the so called Yoruba free born.
This culture of hate is been transfered from their land to other innocent ethnic groups in Nigeria.
The question is,why is their so much hate among the yorubas?

So we got discussing and he asked me what part of Nigeria am i from,I said South-East and he quickly said;you are an Igbo man and i answered in the affirmative.He said that he was almost meant to believe that Igbos are 80-85% total population of Nigeria.Since almost all Nigerians he has come across in his many travels around the world are Igbos.Infact that every other day he logs in to politics section on Nairaland,its always two or more thread on Igbos.
But that on wikipedia,Igbos population is put only about 25% of the entire Nigerian population.Then,he questioned;how was it possible that the Igbo ethnic group could make up for almost all the business men,professionals,entertainers and sports men and women of Nigerian descent he has come across. In his words,He said 'Igbos must be a phenomenon and an enigma,what a great people'.
At that point some other people came to join us at our table,we started discussing other things.
I learnt one thing from the encounter,that the more people discuss about the Igbos,the more popular we are and it becomes our selling point. 'Our detractors are our helpers',forward ever and backward never,we must as a people remain focus and make use of our cultural advantage of hardwork over others.

This is absolute nonsense,we shall not and will never negotiate with those terrorists cum mercenaries. I ve said it times without numbers that many northern elites are culpable in this evil called boko haram that has befallen Nigeria.
Where federal govt led by GEJ was busy fighting the group,some northern governors were busy pushing state allocations to this group,in the guise that they are bargaining for their states not to be bombed.
We want the names of they governors involved,how they fund is being channeled to the group,how much was involved,when the fund was given to them,their links to the group and other necessary information.This northern elite orchestrated deception and conspiracy must and shld be unravelled by the necessary authorities.

I do not support this idea at all,it will turn out to be another conduit pipe used for syphoning funds.The other day this present regime lifted ban on imported textiles and hence the custom were made to free textiles worth billions of Naira seized in Kano. This government has failed to get its policy direction right and applying sentiment in economic decision making,has always proven to be detrimental.
Moreover,the textile industries are only part of the many industries that folded up in Nigeria and are begging to be revived,there shld be a concerted effort to bail out the comatose industries with potentials to sustainability.
I personally wld suggest that those industries with government stake,must be fully privatise before any form of bailout,our money is safer in private hands,just like what happened with the banks.So that we will know who to hold responsible when recovering the loan.Government has no busy running industries,lets give incentives to private investors,including tax holidays and some form of bailout,so as to encourage them to come in and run these industries and then our youths will find sustainable employment.
