The Federal Fire Service has called on Nigerians to respect and clear the road when they hear the siren of a fire truck coming. Obviously, some drivers are angry with the rate at which every Tom, Dick and Harry wants to intimidate every one on the road with their convoy and siren because they are late for a meeting or have a flight to catch. However, it is advised not to pour that grievance on a fire truck or an ambulance which is on a mission to save lives. Some drivers argue that the emergency vehicles might be empty with no mission at hand. Someone once said he cleared the road for one of such emergency vehicles wailing its siren only for the driver to stop at a beer palour then he realised that's where the driver was rushing to. Nonetheless, nothing can justify obstructing a fire truck or an ambulance with the siren turned on. It may be a better idea to block High Networth Individuals with their convoy and police orderlies but I didn't send you message o. Below is the message from the Federal Fire Service to anyone who has ever blocked or may ever intend to block a fire truck on a mission... "Mr and Mrs motorist, do you know that the fire fighting truck you are obstructing might be responding to a call for your home or office which is on fire? Give way whenever you hear our siren. Help us to serve you better." https://autojosh.com/federal-fire-service/

https://i67.tinypic.com/2vuwmkp.jpg A Berlin based German tuning company named "T.Fotiadis Design" plans to create a monstrous Range Rover 6×6 pickup which will have three axles and six wheels. This amazing ride will be a major competitor of this type of Floyd Mayweather's N370m Mercedes Benz G63 AMG 6X6 Truck. The 6 wheeler will be 6 meters long with all the cool quirks of the Range Rover SUV. Obviously, car enthusiasts can't wait to spot one coasting down the road. However, y'all have to wait till September when the vehicle will be launched at Monaco Yacht Show. It is expected to come with 3 engine options with the Jaguar Land Rover 5.0-liter supercharged V8 being the top of the range. Fotiadis said “It is designed to be a superyacht tender. Until now, superyacht owners arrive at the dock aboard their 30-foot tender limos and then have to use Maybach or Rolls-Royce to get around town. The SLT is a vehicle dedicated specifically to the yachting world and style ambassadors.” https://autojosh.com/luxurious-range-rover-6x6-pickup/ Lalasticlala Mynd44 Ishilove Marpol Semid4lyfe Obinoscopy Seun

The American auto-maker, Tesla, is known for being a specialist in producing electric vehicles (EV). They are also known for innovations when it comes to EVs. However, a Zimbabwean has beaten Tesla to an electric car innovation. Sangulani Chikumbutso produced an electric car that does not require conventional recharging in addition to a wide range of technologies. Chikkumbutso achieved this through his company SAITH Technologies. Unbelievably, he is reported to produce energy for vehicles from electromagnetic waves, simple radio frequencies. His website reads: “By revealing undisclosed substance (industry secreted) to radio wavelengths, the Eco-friendly power generator has the capacity to funnel the power generated into function electrical energy. His a.ssertion is always that he has moved past the rules of preservation of energy as generally comprehended as equivalent shift of energy from a single form to a different one proclaiming that this kind of “discovery” displays the application of basic gel battery packs in series of 220 volts generating a greater output in electrical power (500,000 Watts). We aren’t certain how this claim could be allayed, therefore we wish at some discussion board researchers will put the statements to test.” Sangulani Chikumbutso is also known for building a two-seater hybrid helicopter that uses six different types of fuel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viGjXV38qvY https://autojosh.com/zimbabwe-man-beats-tesla-invents-electric-car-that-never-requires-charging/

https://i67.tinypic.com/2ln90zt.jpg A surprise car is heading to the auction in Monaco and it's expected to fetch about N3.6 billion ($10m). This car is the competition package of the first model in the legendary berlinetta series. It is the 1957 Ferrari 250 TdF (Tour de France). These cars were not only perfect for driving to the track, but also for racing (and winning!) on it. It's got a 3.0-liter V12 engine that produces an astounding 258 horsepower back in the '50s. Now, your Toyota Camry will even give you more horsepower for a little fraction of the price. The N3.6 billion price tag sound insane to an average human being but the car collectors definitely know what they are doing to be able to drop such huge bucks for such a ride. Do you prefer to be among the few that can pay such a price? or you prefer to be among the crew that believes it's all vanity? Tell us what you think in the comment section. If you think no one will pay N3.6 billion for this car, check out this funny looking 1954 Jaguar D-Type that was sold for N7.2 billion HERE https://autojosh.com/1957-ferrari-250-tdf/ Lalasticlala Mynd44 Ishilove Marpol Semid4lyfe Obinoscopy Seun

Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode has left no one in doubt that he is not here for jokes. At the inception of his administration, he set a target of building and reconstructing 50 roads in Lagos to commemorate “Lagos at 50”. It was quite an ambitious target. Nonetheless, the man accomplished it. Another target that his administration set was the elimination of “Danfo” – together with keke Marwa, from all major roads in Lagos state, and replace them with luxury metro buses. As part of the ongoing process leading to removing Danfos and Keke Marwa from major roads in Lagos is the constructions of over 100 bus stops, lay bys, bus terminals, etc. In line with that plan, the state government had set aside a N30 billion sinking fund to transform public transportation in Lagos. Although the set deadline to achieve this has been exceeded by some months, the blame, however, for the delay is being laid at the feet of services providers who have been rather slow in relocating some of their underground infrastructures at locations where these new bus stops and lay bys are to be constructed. That notwithstanding, there is no doubt that a a few months from now that plan will be achieved. Currently, all across Lagos state, brand new bus-stops, lay bys and slip roads are being constructed. In a matter of months, Lagos will be celebrating hundreds of new bus stops and bus terminals. In addition to the construction of transport infrastructure in Lagos, there is a an ongoing plan by the Ambode administration to introduce about 5000 brand new buses before the end of the year. Indeed, Ambode is not joking. https://autojosh.com/see-how-ambode-is-building-over-100-new-bus-stops-and-lay-bys-across-lagos/

This toy car features fun styling with sporty chrome wheels. The toy car drives two speeds forward and in reverse. It also has a pretend radio with pre-recorded music and engine sounds. Lights flash and dance on the dashboard when the music plays. The toy cars which weighs about 59kg is also fitted with adjustable seats and cup holder. Now here is the interesting part; this cutie has an interesting price tag of N75, 000! A search online reveals that the brand new version sells for about N118, 800. https://funkyimg.com/i/2FKYR.jpg Bottrop. Prof. h.c. Bodo Buschmann, founder and CEO of BRABUS, the world’s largest independent automotive refinement specialist and renowned manufacturer of high-performance supercars, passed away on April 26, 2018, after a short illness. A car enthusiast from an early age with gasoline in his veins, Bodo Buschmann founded BRABUS GmbH in Bottrop in autumn 1977 while he was still studying law and business management. From day one, the company was devoted to the exclusive refinement of Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The first place of business, a small workshop on the street behind his parent’s car dealership, quickly became too small, which led to the move to the first own company building todays BRABUS Plant 1. The new business continued to grow at a rapid pace. BRABUS had long since stopped to be known only in at home, the Ruhr Valley. Word that Buschmanns company offered tuning of the highest quality quickly spread among car experts around the globe The entrepreneur Bodo Buschmann had a great instinct for successful ideas and products during all these years. He gave everything he had in his company, from early in the morning until late at night, from Monday to Sunday. In this way, he made BRABUS a global player in the auto industry. Exclusive supercars such as the BRABUS 900 ROCKET with a top speed in excess of 370 km/h not only made automotive history, but also repeatedly garnered the honor of making it into the Guinness Book of World Records. https://funkyimg.com/i/2FKZ4.jpg Despite all the successes and the never-ending pursuit of perfection, the man of action Bodo Buschmann also always remained human: In all these years, he always succeeded in rallying the right employees, the best pros of their field around him. He was a role model to all of them with his ambition, professionalism and hard work. During these more than four decades of company history, Bodo Buschmann usually put in a 40-hour week already by Wednesday. With his ideas and his immensely high quality standards, Bodo Buschmann not only made his own company one of the most renowned brands in the auto industry. As president of VDAT e.V., an association of automotive tuners he co-founded, the BRABUS CEO had a huge part in making vehicle refinement respectable around the globe. Bodo Buschmann managed to turn his hobby into his occupation when he was just 22 years old. This passion stayed with him until his last breath. He set standards for the entire industry all his life and always stayed true to his motto: “Never work for money – work for passion!” https://funkyimg.com/i/2FKZg.jpg The entire BRABUS family, employees, customers, and friends around the world will miss him forever, mourn the loss of a visionary and man of action, but above all the loss of the man, teammate and friend Bodo Buschmann, who put his mark on the tuning industry like no other. However, the model entrepreneur from Bottrop would not have been Bodo Buschmann, had he not set the right course for the future of his company long ago. The next generation of the family has already been taking on important responsibilities in management for some time. First and foremost, Constantin Buschmann, who as CMO was previously responsible for Marketing and Sales on the executive board. As CEO of BRABUS Group, he takes over all responsibilities of his father with immediate effect. Other key positions remain in the hands of long-time BRABUS institutions, with Dipl. Ing. Ulrich-Joachim Gauffrés serving as CTO Management Technology and Stefan Hosters as CFO Management Finances and HR. The executive board, the entire BRABUS team and his family will continue Prof. h.c. Bodo Buschmann lifes work as he would have wanted. https://funkyimg.com/i/2FKZm.jpg https://autojosh.com/founder-of-brabus-dies-at-62/ |
On a beach in Anglesey, UK, 70 years ago, Maurice Wilks drew a sketch in the sand. This sketch would become the inspiration for the first Land Rover. The Series I became an icon, as did Wilks. Possessing a truly restless spirit, Wilks’ goal was to build something that could tackle any terrain, weather condition or challenge. That is exactly what he did. Launched on 30th April at the 1948 Motor Show in Amsterdam, it soon became obvious that he had created an exceptional vehicle. To mark Land Rover’s seventieth birthday, Land Rover will be hosting a series of celebrations across the world. It will be holding a special event at the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works facility, UK, to look back through their history – from the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show, to their latest range of SUVs and the people who use them. 70 years ago, Land Rover had capability at its very core and was instilled with an inner strength, a desire to overcome the odds, and a sense of adventure which is still manifest in all of their vehicles. These elements – and many others – are quite simply in Land Rover’s DNA. https://i64.tinypic.com/ehm0wh.jpg https://i66.tinypic.com/2u6cu47.jpg In 1970, Land Rover released the first production three-door Range Rover. Met with widespread critical acclaim, it was the first vehicle to deliver permanent 4 Wheel Drive. The launch of Land Rover Discovery, in 1989, would provide the rugged capability of the Ninety/One Ten to compete with newer, smaller competitors to the Range Rover. In 2005, Range Rover Sport went into production. The introduction of the first sports SUV, in the Range Rover family, showed Land Rover’s commitment to performance. “To reach the landmark of 70 years is truly special and we will mark it with a year of celebrations that represents Land Rover’s ‘Above and Beyond’ spirit and honours the people behind the world’s favourite SUVs.” – Prof Dr Ralf Speth, Jaguar Land Rover CEO “As times, society and needs change, so too do our vehicles. Following the successful testing of the Velar concept vehicle in 1969, it has continuously evolved and in 2018, Range Rover Velar won World Car Design of the Year”. https://autojosh.com/land-rover-at-70/ Lalasticlala Mynd44 Ishilove Marpol Semid4lyfe Obinoscopy Seun

Akute, Alagbole, Ajuwon and Yakoyo are towns within the Ogun-Lagos boarder location. They are situated less than 30 minutes’ drive away from the Ojodu-Berger bus stop. Lately, residents of these locations have had cause to cry out due to the increasing cases of irritation of the eyes and airways, coughing, wheezing and difficulty breathing, aggravate asthma and other chronic lung conditions. All these are as a result of the heavy cloud of dust that permanents hovers above that location due to the construction activity of the Alagbole-Odo-Yakoyo flyover. Residents, especially commuters who ply the construction site of the Alagbole-Odo-Yakoyo flyover enormously exposed to this heavy haze of dust that hover around that axis. Commuters, especially the ones who travel along that route in Okada and Keke Marwa, typically end their trips with very dusty clothes and vehciles. A journey through the construction site lasts about 5 minutes. However, when there is heavy traffic, it can last as much as 20 minutes or more. And throughout the journey, a traveler is left to breathe in nothing but dust particles. The cause of the dusty atmosphere there which is the construction of the flyover is part of 3 flyovers being constructed around that location. The project commenced sometime in 2012 and was expected to be delivered under 30 months. Sadly, the delivery date has been surpassed by a few years shy of a decade. However, in recent days, construction activities at the flyover has picked up an impressive pace. Indeed, the yearlong exposure to heavy cloud of dust particles has brought a lot of inconvenience and healthy challenges to thousands of residents and commuters living in that densely populated part of the Lagos-Ogun boarder location. And the question on the lips of residents there is: How long will they suffer the dusty conditions? https://autojosh.com/see-the-lagos-ogun-boarder-town-where-people-breathe-in-dust/
