With the massive construction and upgrade of traffic infrastructure going on across Lagos state, there are quite a number of people who are beneficiaries of these projects.
Asides the major civil engineers, there are countless artisans who are smiling to the bank on account of their participation in the reform process of road infrastructure in Lagos state. Some of them include carpenters, bricklayers, welders, electricians, plumbers, etc.

In addition to this group, visual artistes are also getting enormous patronage from the Lagos state government. Their artworks are seem all over major traffic hubs across the state. Their artworks and graffiti add to the beauty of some of these newly renovated or constructed traffic landmarks.

His real name is Obi Okeke. He is a Nigerian. He was born to a Nigerian father and an American mother. At age 5, he sojourned to the United State as a refugee during the Nigerian Civil war.

Other celebrities that Dr. Bugatti has sold luxury cars to include Chris Tucker, Ellen DeGeneres, Jessica Simpson, Floyd Mayweather and many others.

It is on record that he has sold 39 cars to Floyd Mayweather. And they include 3 Bugatti Veyrons valued at $6.2 million and a $3.2M Ferrari Enzo. He has also sold to Mayweather several Rolls-Royces and Bentleys.

Obi Okeke started his car sale career started in 1987 as a Chevrolet dealer and eventually moved on to manage stores for Ferrari, Maserati, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz before starting out on his own.

He later co-founded Fusion Luxury Motors in North Los Angeles with a man named Yoel Wazana. His Fusion Luxury Motors has cars with price ranges from $49,000 to $3.8 million.

His car shop, Fusion Luxury Motors, is a popular destination for many celebrities in the US.

The Federal Fire Service has called on Nigerians to respect and clear the road when they hear the siren of a fire truck coming.

Obviously, some drivers are angry with the rate at which every Tom, Dick and Harry wants to intimidate every one on the road with their convoy and siren because they are late for a meeting or have a flight to catch. However, it is advised not to pour that grievance on a fire truck or an ambulance which is on a mission to save lives. Some drivers argue that the emergency vehicles might be empty with no mission at hand. Someone once said he cleared the road for one of such emergency vehicles wailing its siren only for the driver to stop at a beer palour then he realised that's where the driver was rushing to.

Nonetheless, nothing can justify obstructing a fire truck or an ambulance with the siren turned on. It may be a better idea to block High Networth Individuals with their convoy and police orderlies but I didn't send you message o.

A Berlin based German tuning company named "T.Fotiadis Design" plans to create a monstrous Range Rover 6×6 pickup which will have three axles and six wheels. This amazing ride will be a major competitor of this type of Floyd Mayweather's N370m Mercedes Benz G63 AMG 6X6 Truck.

The 6 wheeler will be 6 meters long with all the cool quirks of the Range Rover SUV. Obviously, car enthusiasts can't wait to spot one coasting down the road. However, y'all have to wait till September when the vehicle will be launched at Monaco Yacht Show. It is expected to come with 3 engine options with the Jaguar Land Rover 5.0-liter supercharged V8 being the top of the range.

Fotiadis said “It is designed to be a superyacht tender. Until now, superyacht owners arrive at the dock aboard their 30-foot tender limos and then have to use Maybach or Rolls-Royce to get around town. The SLT is a vehicle dedicated specifically to the yachting world and style ambassadors.”

The American auto-maker, Tesla, is known for being a specialist in producing electric vehicles (EV). They are also known for innovations when it comes to EVs.

However, a Zimbabwean has beaten Tesla to an electric car innovation.

Sangulani Chikumbutso produced an electric car that does not require conventional recharging in addition to a wide range of technologies. Chikkumbutso achieved this through his company SAITH Technologies.

Unbelievably, he is reported to produce energy for vehicles from electromagnetic waves, simple radio frequencies.

His website reads:

“By revealing undisclosed substance (industry secreted) to radio wavelengths, the Eco-friendly power generator has the capacity to funnel the power generated into function electrical energy. A surprise car is heading to the auction in Monaco and it's expected to fetch about N3.6 billion ($10m). This car is the competition package of the first model in the legendary berlinetta series. It is the 1957 Ferrari 250 TdF (Tour de France).

These cars were not only perfect for driving to the track, but also for racing (and winning!) on it. It's got a 3.0-liter V12 engine that produces an astounding 258 horsepower back in the '50s. Now, your Toyota Camry will even give you more horsepower for a little fraction of the price.

The N3.6 billion price tag sound insane to an average human being but the car collectors definitely know what they are doing to be able to drop such huge bucks for such a ride.

Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode has left no one in doubt that he is not here for jokes.

At the inception of his administration, he set a target of building and reconstructing 50 roads in Lagos to commemorate “Lagos at 50”. It was quite an ambitious target. Nonetheless, the man accomplished it.

Another target that his administration set was the elimination of “Danfo” – together with keke Marwa, from all major roads in Lagos state, and replace them with luxury metro buses.

As part of the ongoing process leading to removing Danfos and Keke Marwa from major roads in Lagos is the constructions of over 100 bus stops, lay bys, bus terminals, etc.

In line with that plan, the state government had set aside a N30 billion sinking fund to transform public transportation in Lagos.

Although the set deadline to achieve this has been exceeded by some months, the blame, however, for the delay is being laid at the feet of services providers who have been rather slow in relocating some of their underground infrastructures at locations where these new bus stops and lay bys are to be constructed.

That notwithstanding, there is no doubt that a a few months from now that plan will be achieved.

Currently, all across Lagos state, brand new bus-stops, lay bys and slip roads are being constructed. In a matter of months, Lagos will be celebrating hundreds of new bus stops and bus terminals.

In addition to the construction of transport infrastructure in Lagos, there is a an ongoing plan by the Ambode administration to introduce about 5000 brand new buses before the end of the year.

Indeed, Ambode is not joking.

So, I came across this cute “tokunbo” toy car at a shop somewhere in Ikeja. It is a Barbie-themed Power Wheels Ford Mustang – The Princess edition.

This toy car features fun styling with sporty chrome wheels. The toy car drives two speeds forward and in reverse. It also has a pretend radio with pre-recorded music and engine sounds. Lights flash and dance on the dashboard when the music plays.

The toy cars which weighs about 59kg is also fitted with adjustable seats and cup holder.

Now here is the interesting part; this cutie has an interesting price tag of N75, 000!

With support from Chinese multinational e-commerce, Alibaba, Xpeng Motors has released a ready-to-sell production car which will give Tesla a run for their money.

Xpeng Motors named its first production model G3. “G” is for geek, and the number “3” is for its category. Since its foundation, Xpeng Motors has been committed to building a revolutionary intelligent car for a new generation of young people. The name of the car is designed to appeal to a younger demographic, and to express a “geek” lifestyle that includes an attitude of both exploration and innovation.

The new ride from this company has the following highlights

Highlight 1: LED sword-style lighting, sharp front lip and a shark-inspired car grille

Highlight 2: It is an intelligent car equipped with a panoramic windshield, giving an unlimited view of the horizon from the inside. This was designed in such a way to feel like being in the cabin of a spaceship.

Highlight 3: A unique driving experience through the first 360-degree roof camera and large HD touch screen. The pioneering use of the 360-degree panoramic camera on the roof allows users to capture, save and share their memories at anytime, anywhere.

President Buhari is currently on a 2-day working visit to Bauchi state.

Akute, Alagbole, Ajuwon and Yakoyo are towns within the Ogun-Lagos boarder location. They are situated less than 30 minutes’ drive away from the Ojodu-Berger bus stop.

Lately, residents of these locations have had cause to cry out due to the increasing cases of irritation of the eyes and airways, coughing, wheezing and difficulty breathing, aggravate asthma and other chronic lung conditions.

All these are as a result of the heavy cloud of dust that permanents hovers above that location due to the construction activity of the Alagbole-Odo-Yakoyo flyover.

Residents, especially commuters who ply the construction site of the Alagbole-Odo-Yakoyo flyover enormously exposed to this heavy haze of dust that hover around that axis.

Commuters, especially the ones who travel along that route in Okada and Keke Marwa, typically end their trips with very dusty clothes and vehciles.

A journey through the construction site lasts about 5 minutes. However, when there is heavy traffic, it can last as much as 20 minutes or more. And throughout the journey, a traveler is left to breathe in nothing but dust particles.

The cause of the dusty atmosphere there which is the construction of the flyover is part of 3 flyovers being constructed around that location.

The project commenced sometime in 2012 and was expected to be delivered under 30 months. Sadly, the delivery date has been surpassed by a few years shy of a decade. However, in recent days, construction activities at the flyover has picked up an impressive pace.

Indeed, the yearlong exposure to heavy cloud of dust particles has brought a lot of inconvenience and healthy challenges to thousands of residents and commuters living in that densely populated part of the Lagos-Ogun boarder location.

And the question on the lips of residents there is: How long will they suffer the dusty conditions?

The administration is demonstrating a tenacity to ensure that under Lagos bridges and flyovers become a pleasure to the eye.

A landscaping and beautification project is ongoing under major bridges in Lagos.

Some of the bridges and flyovers being beautified include the Ikeja Flyovers, Obalende Flyover, Ojuelegba flyovers, etc.

However, there seem to be no end in sight for this beautification and landscaping exercise. The project which out be be straightforward project is taking longer than necessary.

What could be the reason for the very slow pace of work at under these bridges?
