Haven't you ever thought of this question, with all their technological advancements, the support of USA, their sophisticated satellites, Israel cannot target exactly where those rockets are fired from?

I haven't any military background, but there are so many ways that Israel or any other country can use to stop rockets attacks, especially if those attacks are almost from the same location.

Israel can use their satellite to capture the movement of the rocket from the time it was fired, and they can destroy that rocket from the sky before it landed in Israel (since it takes up to 15 minutes before it landed), and they can instantly locate where that rocket came from.

I cannot believe USA or Israel does not have the capability to know exactly where rockets are fired from.

I cannot believe that what Israel is doing in Gaza now is just to stop Rockets fired from Gaza, they have their own mission of occupying the whole middle-east.

I cannot believe that Israel will stop occupying the middle-east even if they destroy Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc etc.

I just came across this topic today, well, I would like to reply by drawing a conclusion based on an article I read by a Muslim on Nostradamus.

Governments know how the masses react to Nostradamus' writings all too well. During World War II the Germans dropped leaflets of his prophecies in the streets of France in an attempt to demoralize the people. Then, it was being used as a source of propaganda. And this is partially why I am even writing this today. It will likely be used again in the "War on Terrorism".

With references to Nostradamus' Third Antichrist coming from "the land of Muhammad", I am quite sure that many will utilize this in their attack on Islam. This is one of the many reasons why it is important for modern day Muslims to know what Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said regarding the Antichrist, al-Masih ad-Dajjal."

So, the reason why I post that topic does not make me to believe what Nostradamus said, or promotes what he said on Nairaland. But for the following reasons;

1. Many people esp on Nairaland here thinks that all troubles in this world is caused by Islam or Muslims
2. To expose the Jewish agendas of the Middle East (even though it will not be true, but that is exactly what they are following) because he is also a Jew
3. Muslims should be aware on plans against them, this man has exposed so many plans against Muslims, but because we don't want to research, and read through, we are left with ignorant on the what is really happening in the world politics. We are just left with what we are told in the News.
4. Foretelling the future is not allowed in Islam, but in the case that what was said is being followed step-by-step by some people in order to achieve that Foretelling, won't you read and research and know what this people will be doing next?

In 2006, when Israel attacked Lebanon, it does not even know the exact target in Lebanon, they just bombed anywhere, any living thing is a target. They admitted that themselves (that they made a mistake in attacking Lebanon). They failed to weaken Hezbollah, and the Israel media and western media does not want to report that Hezbollah drive their forces out of Lebanon, but keep saying that Israel withdraws from Lebanon, which is untrue. Hezbollah forced all the Israel troops out of Lebanon.

It seems many people are not aware of the Zionist plans to invade so many countries in the middle east. They are planning to invade even some parts of Saudi Arabia. Even in FILMS we are watching, when an Enemy take shield with humans, most of the times, no attacks will take place at the place, normally, taking shield involves arresting people in one place and refusing to let them go where they like, which is not the case in Gaza.

But this is not a Film, this is real life, Israel is always blaming Hamas of taking Palestinians as human shield, the question is, if Israel cares about human lives, why would they attack and kill children in a SCHOOL (even though no Single Hamas militant was there).

Israel military is a failure, they have killed 3 of their own soldiers and injured more than 20. This proves that their military intelligence is very very poor, even though they claimed the number 5 position in military power.

Israel must agree to negotiate with Hamas, and they must stop the siege on Gaza (18 months siege).
Siege is itself a War, so literally, Israel was fighting Hamas in Gaza for 18 months, and now enters a full scale war with them.

More than 200 children have died so far, most of them babies.

Israel can never be trusted.

My suggestion is;

1. Make the site a 2 or 3 column CSS based.
2. Make the states and all the different catergory a dropdown list, its going to be very weird having all 36 states displayed on the page.

I'll keep tab to see how its growing. Its a nice work.

500 Innocent People were killed in 9 days of Israel attacks on Gaza
10 People were killed in Hama's 2 years of firing rockets into Israel

What Hamas wants before it stops firing rockets is for Israel to release all the borders surrounding Gaza and West Bank. Few days before Israel started the bombardment of Gaza, they block all aid going into Gaza, water, oil, everything, including hospital supplies and food items.

If Israel wish is to destroy Hamas (which they keep denying), then ultimately, their wish is to destroy 65% of Palestinians.

This War will only empower Hamas in and out of Palestine.

Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri, Babur, Shua Arab, are very closely related to each other, and you will hardly if not even never hear any of these tribes attacking the other as in the case of Hausa and Igbo or Yoruba, these tribes are now family, marriage and Islam have already united these tribes, and I bet no force can come between them.

Take for example, Kano is almost 100% Hausa/Fulani, but the present Governor (Shekarau) is Babur (From Borno) by origin. But you will hardly hear anyone talking about the difference.

Then FCT in Abuja and former FCT in Lagos and Kaduna and porth harcourt should have special status because of their mixture of inhabitants  as in diversity of tribes and religions.

Do you mean each of these states will be on its own, if yes, then Kano will also join this setup, if you are talking of the mixture of inhabitants, almost all Nigerian tribes can be found in Kano. I think it will be better each state joins their respective region. Abuja can join the New Nigeria or Arewa, Portharcourt is probably an Igbo nation (South South), while lagos is a Yoruba nation (South West).

In conclusion, we should be looking for how to strengthen the country and not divide it. Ther will be gainers and losers and the benefits may be less than the problems.

In your own Opinion, how should we strengthen the country? You should always look at the fact that the country is not a living thing, and does not know what you are doing, the right question we should be asking is how should we strengthen our people?

The Probable next action in the ongoing war in Gaza is either Syria, Hezbollah, or Iran will attack Israel and send their troops to Palestine.

Achaba; A Disaster Waiting to Happen

Achaba or Okada as called in some parts of the country are motorcycle riders commuting people from one place to another mostly within an urban area for a negotiated fare. Tenderly, Achaba or Okada has become one of the Jobs available freely to so many percentages of the Nigerian unemployed youths, including University Graduates, and others who have one or more skills. Usually, Achaba riders are living in the area or city they are commuting people, though some of them flourishes from villages near major cities.

Frankly speaking, Achaba or Okada is not a Job, because it is not classified in the class of employment anywhere in the world, so in this context, all Achaba or Okadas are economically unemployed, in a good instance, any Achaba that is given a Job whether in the Private or Public sector, he will undoubtedly give up the Achaba Job and take up that employment.

Presently, Kano State has the largest number of Achabas in the country, as a result of the state government’s effort to combat unemployment they have distributed thousands of Motorcycles to the unemployed masses, they have even gone far to distribute tricycles to many unemployed people in the state. In such instance, the Emergency Departments of our General Hospitals are full of those favored with the Motorcycles; of course, those that distributed Motorcycles or Tricycles to them will not attend to them at the hospital when cars hit them or when they clash with themselves. Many accidents occur every single day in the city involving Achaba. Likewise, my point will be widely accepted if I said it is not wise or helpful to make Okada a permanent Job for the unemployed people, though it is our people’s high ignorance in governance that patronize personal gifts more than infrastructural development, and community development in general.

So many people now rely heavily on the Okadas to commute them from one place to another, while so many people prefer to escape the outraging carelessness of the Okadas, and other health risks and instead take Taxis and Mass Transits popularly called Hayis for their transportation. Kano has since become a hotspot for many Okadas that were banned from other cities like the FCT, making the city host so many crimes in one context, and making it dirty in the other context. So many cases of Lung cancer were found to be from non-smokers of cigarette but from smokers of the Achaba motorcycle carbon emission, which is the most deadly substance in our atmosphere, posing great threat to our future, without any plan to control this Carbon, Kano will one day witness acid rains or the like, and so far it is predicted to suffer more in the Global Warming scenario.

Indeed, there is the need for every single person to contribute in reducing the amount of Carbon being sent to our atmosphere every day. It is quite disturbing to note that most of this threat will return back to the poor masses of the country, not those that buy the Carbon machine and distribute it free.

The Solution to this disturbing disaster can be worked out extensively by a team of experts both in economic, safety, and health sectors. The economic team should analyze different ways of replacing the Okada Job with a more tangible job, while the safety team will try and enforce laws on using helmets by both drivers and passengers, and the health team to find ways of protecting people from the Carbon produced to our atmosphere everyday, as the case may be, it affects our water, food, the air we breath, our animals and so many other diseases caused by Carbon emissions.

In a more developed country, this type of disasters would have already undergone series of research on how, when, and where the solution should come, indeed it is a great problem. Comparing the atmosphere of Abuja and Kano, one will undoubtedly see that Abuja is more eco-friendly and atmospherically better than Kano. Abuja have already tackle the problem in its own sense, but in general sense, it did not, because most of whom that lost the Okada Job in Abuja either leaves the city and come to cities like Kaduna or Kano and continue making the atmosphere unfriendly, or start illegal Jobs like stealing, robbery, etc. It will take series of years before the problem can be totally tackled, government needs to plan extensively, and this is the right time to plan, if not, no one knows how our city will look like in few years to come.

It should now be profoundly useless and harmful to even sell Motorcycles in Kano city, rather than distribute it free, the present government has ordered thousands upon thousands of motorcycles and distributed them freely to some youths, which is supposedly shameful. For instance, when the country turns to what we do not want it to turn, many people will try to leave the country, most of these Okadas are normally serviette to only what they are used to, that is they are unskilled, they cannot work in so many parts of the world, in fact even in neighboring African countries, they cannot work. Government should introduce a program specially tailored for the Okadas, when ever an Okada get the required skill then he should be given capital to embark on a safe and permanent job. Government should also introduce a more robust and atmospherically clean mass transit to cover as much areas as possible. This and more will further enhance the livelihood of our dear Kano City, and will make it cleaner and safe to stay.

Federal Government should further not allow any state governor, chairman of a local government, or any councilor to give commercial motorcycle or tricycle as a gift, the Federal Government should make it totally illegal and punishable by law. Training youths in different jobs and providing them with permanent employment opportunities in many sectors of the economy is what all arms of government are supposed to be doing not distributing motorcycles or tricycles.

People are denying to agree that this is the lasting and peaceful way to solve Nigeria's Political and Economic crisis. Take this now, if Biafra is separate from Nigeria, their unemployment rate will drop from 70% to 30% in only one year, and their income will increase by 300% in two years. Almost the same with other countries like Arewa, Odua, and the Middlebelt.

For Peaceful resolution to the division, all those Southerners living in Arewa will be automatically given a Resident Card after they obtained the passport from their embassy (Biafran Embassy in Arewa or Oduan Embassy in Arewa). The same for Arewans living in Biafra or Odua, they will obtain their Passport from the Arewa Embassy in Biafra or in Odua or in Middlebelt.

This is a ONE way and the ONLY to the SOLUTION of Nigeria's Political and Economic crisis.

After all, if ECOWAS monetary union is ready, all of us will be using the same money (like the EURO for example).
