Furious1: Of course I'm partly from Anambra, and very proud. I want to know where you're from
You can't deceive anyone. We all know you are from Anambra. It's good we like to praise our state Anambra, however let's stop the lies.
Onitsha is not among the top 10 largest cities by landmass in Nigeria. Being densely populated does not mean its large. Hong-Kong is densely populated does not mean its bigger than Tokyo.
Be wise and stop arguing foolishly and showing the world how ignorant you are.
Furious1: [s]I'm from Onelga, and ppl also refer to Onelga as pH, peace from Big brother is from my place but she referred to it as pH. Aluu and alaka are not pH but they will be part of the greater portharcourt city. The word pH just happen to mean everywhere in Rivers State to ppl outside and we've come to agree with them. Pls be guided[/s]
Understanding is your problem. I wrote Port Harcourt City(PHC). Not Port Harcourt(Phalga). You are from Onelga as you claim and you don't know the difference says alot...
As it stands today PHC is made up of 5 LGAs;
1. Phalga (which is the original Port Harcourt) 2. Obio-Akpor 3. Eleme 4. Ikwerre 5. Okrika
[s]Anambra is second most builtup state after Lagos remember Awka, Amawbia, Nnewi and sub towns use your Google[/s]
Stop twisting the argument. Your bloda said Onitsha. Keep on glorifying villages...
Mumu, so according to you Ozuoba where you have NTA Port Harcourt, Ogbogoro, Alakahia and Aluu are not part of PHC?
Gbagura: Ibos are doing better than themselves not me. YES, you chose a wrong culture that breeds hates, egoism and crimes. Everything is wrong about your culture hence why everywhere you go, both home and abroad, you attracts hate to yourselves.
It's only ibo that will come to your land and after you've welcomed them fully, they turn back and start abusing the hosts, telling them how ibos are better than them when they don't even worth nothing.
What sort of bad culture is that? Hating on your hosts and you feel it's the right thing? That's how it's been from North to West and South and when they start doing them bad, cries of marginalization starts.
[s]Dumbo do you know the sub towns that makeup Onitsha metro, do you know Obosi one of the sub towns is bigger by landmass and more populated than Onitsha, Onitsha metropolis covers Ogbaru, Obosi, Nkpor, Ogidi, Nkwelle, Nsugbe, Oba, Ogunike, Umunya, these towns are bigger than Onitsha main town, Onitsha metro is the biggest city in Eastern region including SouthSouth, remember Awka and surrounding towns, Nnewi is also there, typical Yoruba mind, you need to visit Anambra to understand.[/s]
All those towns you are calling put together with Onisha are not up to 2/3 the size of those cities listed.
Dumbo mind and Lagos landmass is smaller than Anambra, empty brain so for your mind Asaba is bigger than Onitsha metro
The metro areas of these cities are bigger than Onitsha
Ignorant mind this is Obosi in Idemili local government, neighbouring town to Onitsha, Ogidi, Ogbaru, Nkpor, Nkwelle, Ogbunike, Nnewi, Ekwulobia, Awka, Amawbia and other are there, Anambra is second most densely populated state after Lagos
Kindly watch Obosi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TumRSP3n9YI
No one is arguing with you that Anambra is not densely populated. Its a small state with small landmass. A state like Delta for example is about 5 times the size of Anambra.
All those places put together is not up to 2/3 the size of some metropolis in Nigeria.
Ogbuefi2020: [s]Urban Area is different from city. Onitsha is a small city but a large urban area because of dense clusters of many towns around it which has merged to form a cornubation[/s]
Onitsha metropolis is one of the smallest in the country.
Furious1: [s]Go to Kano and see for yourself. Kano is big but largely uninhabitable, Onitsha alone is the second built up Urban area in Nigeria after Lagos, Onithsa is just a city in Anambra Kano is in the desert; in Kano you will drive for hours through nothingness with tonnes of empty petrol stations. Those ppl dey hardly get customers unlike places like Imo, I didn't even mention banks, Anambra for instance is the 2nd Smallest state but Anambra has the 2nd highest number of first bank branches after Lagos. is not by size and fake statistical data, what is the reality on ground. As Kano big reach how built up is their Urban areas. How quick can you grow a business in Kano[/s]
Too much lies....
1. Onitsha is densely populated and its the second most densely populated city in Nigeria. This does not mean its the 2nd most built up area in the country. Moreover Anambra is small, and Onitsha is one of the smallest cities by landmass in Nigeria.
2. States with the highest number of bank branches are Lagos and Rivers. So I don't know where you get Anambra as number 2 from.
This ipob people are really distracing us Igbos. He doesn't have a solution to the Rubbish and filt everywhere in Abia state, but has the solution to soot problem in Rivers.
RIVERS1stson: I am from Anambra state but truth be told Rivers State is a backward polluted jungle. I wish I am from Rivers. Onitsha is the most polluted city in the world.
Cultism originated from our polluted Anambra State
My meth bloda flom Ihiala, our state anambala is so backward that we celebrate refueling of airplane. See how our people are killing themselves just in the name of cultism..
tshtsh: [s]Your comment makes no sense to me. If you have nothing to say let go and stop questioning whether I'm kalabari or not as you dont know me and cannot tell me where I am from. The issue I raised was about the lazy, lackluster and entitled nature of the average kalabari man who prefers to womanize, beg for money and drink at every opportunity . Even funerals are avenues to go after women, drink and make money by begging. Its not a progressive attitude to life and has kept the kalabari people backward. Focus on that if you are interested and stop questioning whether I'm kalabari or not because you can't change that fact. Whether you like it or not[/s]
You are not and can never be Kalabari. Your history on nairaland since 2020 you opened this account says it all.
tshtsh: [s]As a 30 year old kalabari I can relate that In the southern region of Nigeria I have never seen any group of lazy, entitled and proud individuals like I see when I am in Port Harcourt. It has become a serious cultural problem which has been ignored for so long. I cant understand why anyone will comfortably want to settle for handouts from another man . I hope that they will wake up one day and realize that hard work and perseverance improves one's chances of success and not thuggery, extortion and laziness[/s]
No Kalabari man or woman will use the phrase "as a 30 year old kalabari". Also I took time to go through your history and its quite obvious that you are either Igbo or Efik claiming kalabari..
