Lol if a man hits a woman he goes to jail simple.... don’t hit a woman if u can’t handle the consequences

Kebbiprince:

And you're proud of a delilah like woman framing a man to jail. No wonder, I have always known feminism is about hatred for men, Atleast u guys don't hide it

Without women no man would be born including yourself. You would not exist if not for a woman. So the world belongs to women

Kebbiprince:

Well the world is the men, count out the men and there is no world, or are u simply saying you females are celebrating yourselves

Travel / Re: How Did You Survive Your Divorce In The UK? by awulio(f): 6:35am On Mar 09, 2021
He should move to another city or move to Isle of Man or gurnesy they don’t care about his criminal record.... but ask ur friend what he did to his wife... was he a serial cheat and the wife is just doing pay back?

ASUNDER:
My friend is currently going through a divorce in the UK and having a hell of a time. His wife mounted as many allegations on him as possible during separation - domestic violence, marital rape, child abuse, drugs and alcohol use, adultery, forgery just to name a few. He had to leave the house. He has moved to a room in a shared house and now even struggling to pay the rent. He does not see his kids anymore (not by choice). He is very broke and in debt because of all that is going on. He can no longer afford a lawyer. He feels so powerless, helpless and hopeless that he cannot fight most of what his wife is putting him through in court. He represents himself these days.

He has stopped looking after himself and is always looking sad . He also lost his job due to his arrest and all the drama. He was arrested because he tried to go see his kids at his former home and his wife called the police that she was afraid of him and that he had come to harass her. Police arrested him even without any traces of any harassment. Note that he moved out of the family house voluntarily thinking that the period of separation would ease tension between him and his wife.

I always feel sad seeing him in this state and just wish that he could recover and bounce back. He is considering moving back to Nigeria.

Have you gone through divorce in the UK or do you know anyone who has? What was the experience and what advice would you give someone going through this?

Thank you.
Car Talk / Re: First All-Female Mechanic Shop Opens In Sokoto by awulio(f): 6:00am On Mar 09, 2021
Thank God u of no importance in this world. No one gives a damn about ur opinion. As a female I will prefer to take my car to a female mechanic. If you know anything about NASCAR you will know that there are a lot of female mechanics .....Also there are a lot of male millionaires that made money from being a hairstylist. Guy tang is a millionaire that created hair products. The owner of cantu was a black man and he later sold the business for 150 million dollars....Your there at home without a million naira in your account it your condemning male hairstylists that are making millions of dollars

Simplyleo:
I may sound odd, but I don't give a fvck. I say it the way I see it and not to pls anyone's line of thought.

It may be viewed as hard work, but to me that's arrant nonsense. I mean female being a mechanic. Auto Mechanic is not a feminine trade.

You can bullshit yourself that what a man can do and all the bla bla bla, but that is your business and deep within, you know is all self deception.

I cant imagine my wife being a mechanic or giving my car to a female to fix, very awkward.

Similarly, a man hairstylist is just an idiot. undecided

NASTYNASOSO:

Romance / Re: He Is A Cheat, Yet Won’t Let Me Go by awulio(f): 5:11am On Mar 09, 2021
Firstly everything u wrote is rubbish but I don’t think u meant harm. Women are tired of men cheating. If men can cheat then women should be allowed to cheat freely. Two can play that game. If u can’t be faithful in a relationship then don’t enter it. Women will no longer accept rubbish from men. If other men can live without cheating then why can’t Nigerian men?

Oluromantic:
Hmmm I'm afraid I have both of you to blame. I do not support what he did but you too are just beginning to understand the life of a man. Most men do it but your man was wrong in that he didn't place you high enough over others. You are probably one of the kind of women who get deeply pained over cheating. For you at this level of getting close to marriage and still have the inkling that there's no tendency for him to cheat is being unrealistic. I'm not saying he has d right to cheat but for a woman who's ready to stay in marriage, you shd have learnt before now to take your mind off his cheating tendency. I guess that wasn't included in your upbringing or self training. That's what your mom-in-law was trying to figure out for you..like a woman who wants to last in husband house must close her eyes off her husband's cheating tendency blabla.

For him not to groom you from the onset that he's a free man sexually so as to prepare your mind for what you're coming into is also wrong. For him to tell his side chicks that you're in his life is good, it shows he values you despite their sexual service...some men will deny their wives. But for them to call you names like witch and he's comfortable with it is wrong. Strangely, there are some ladies who even work out chicks for their fiance when they're not around. But it's d man who shd be careful not to misbehave.

This is true for many men. They'll see other girls they like but won't place them above you.

But from your description of him, he seem not to care about your respect. When some men will frown at side chicks for abusing their wives both in her presence and absence, he was too flexible that they have no regard for you. Then also, you need to ignore the number of girls you saw on his phone, it's not always like that. Before a man gets a girl to sleep with, he has to toast about 3-5 before one succumbs, shakara won't let others. So it doesn't mean he's sleeping with 10 girls at the moment.

There’s lots of things women can do that men can never do eg give birth. Since u think ur great go and get belle . Lol weak men like u can only be found in Africa. Thank God that men that the world listen to are in support of feminism. Barack Obama and president Biden all support feminism..... who do u think ppl will listen to? U or American presidents...The ride is just beginning prepare. Women are taking over. Now in the USA they pay women and men equally. Celebrities like Beyoncé has a company were she only hires females. A New York company had to fire some men and hire women because there were too many men. We taking over and I 100% don’t give a damn what some lil nigga thinks

Lol u men have been treating women like shit for years. We taking our power back. All the wars in the world have been caused by men not women . Y’all ain’t keeping the world together. The best countries in the world are run by women eg New Zealand and Finland... women are taking over and we not going to let nobody stop us. Only a weak man would be jealous of a woman. You better stay in nigeria because if u intend to travel abroad just know women have more power now. In America one statement from a woman can make a man like u lose his job and end up in jail. We no more letting men like u disrespect us. Women are becoming doctors, scientists etc

> In most casualties of wars, Men are the most affected but women are spared. Even in the military females are given the most juicy post, men are drafted to the harshest and most cruel condition, Women are in the Barracks growing fat only. the other day women only were drafted to man Kaduna - Abuja highway everyone almost condemned the fact only women were deployed but shy away from the increasing number of men killed by Boko Haram

> A Man would do and take care of virtually everything of him and around him but his fellow guy would rather look away and spend on girls that add little or zero Values to his life and still feels proud doing so

> Caught in the act of crime but folks wanna Bleeping know why she got into such crime but if it were a guy fuel would be everywhere

> Women care less about Father's day celebrated once a year but on women's day the world gotta care bout them

> To crown it all Men keeps the world together but given little or no Recognition but this shitty slut can push for Feminism and urging women to keep fighting for the obvious wrong reasons

Las las Simps are the ones who bears the brunt of Feminism so ion give a fvck bout what happens to simps. Lord knows I've never given top place to Females in my life except my families. Travel / Re: Nigerians In USA, Do You Save More Than N15 Million Yearly? by awulio(f): 2:23am On Mar 08, 2021
Not always the case. If u earning 150k a year there’s absolutely no way the government is taking 50% for tax. I used to work at a tax company so I know these things. Someone earning 150k pays 24% federal about 6% state. In New York they pay more state tax. And 1% of their house price in property tax. Max tax they pay would be 31% a year. With deductions etc they will probably only pay half of that. So about 15 to 20%..... the reason why Nigerians in America fall into debt is because they want to live lavish lives and they buy everything on credit. They will have mortgage, car loan then they will buy tv on credit, sofa on credit etc.... I know people that save 20k a month but the wife is a doctor and the husband is a software engineer. Even though they were making so much money they were still living in a small 2 bedroom apartment. Once they saved enough money they bought a big house. If you live frugal u can save a lot of money. You are correct concerning businesses. Most businesses pay little tax because they can deduct things such as rent, utilities, workers salary, mileage etc

Depends what you do in America. If you work for somebody or company, I don't care if you are a doctor, engineer or lawyer, or mere warehouse worker, your income will be limited by tax even if you live frugally because you have no control of your taxes and you will shed almost 50% in taxes if you make more across taxes (federal, state, property and estate). Lets say you make $150k, government collect almost $75k in taxes across. You are left with $75k, after your house, car, emergency and personal expenses, you re left with $10-20k in the bank every yr. You can live a comfortable life but you will never be wealthy!

Now, if you own your own business, not mom and pop kiosk, I mean real business over $500k in revenue, you will have more control of your taxes. Once you understand how America works, which most Nigerians or black immigrants never understand anyways...just living the American dream blindly( big house and nice cars) and fatally in debt, you will know that America rewards business owners and entrepreneurs. Most Asian immigrants understand this which is why they own their own business and don't work for people!

Any Nigerian you know that is very very wealthy in America, has his/her own big business. These are not small boys and girls, they have over 5 employees (that's over $200k/90million in payroll a year assuming $45k each employee a yr), business location cost $500k-$5million. They rarely pay taxes because their business give them that advantage. Go and read why and how the rich in America pay zero to no taxes...actually government doesn't want you to if you create job, invest or an entrepreneur!

Firstly I don’t need a man telling me how to live.... goodness gracious Nigerian men are really thrash. It’s because of rubbish write ups like this that I refuse to marry a Nigerian. Firstly my self worth is not based on my shape or my looks this is why y’all get tricked by girls because that’s what you focused on.... 2ndly I’m a proud feminist and will continue to be that, luckily the white guys i know love feminists it’s just Nigerian men that have issues with it. I don’t need to act feminine to get a man. I was raised to be strong and I can do things on my own. I pay my own bills, I do things for my self. Finishing up my masters in America. I’m not going to reduce myself and my achievements to please a man
Mikester:
This is a sequel to my previous thread @ https://www.nairaland.com/6427941/things-every-guy-should-know for the ladies in the house.

Disclaimer : This isn't to bash women neither is it meant to surface gender war. I'm no expert on women affairs but quite well-informed. Thanks. Love from Mikester. cool

10 things ladies should know before 30.

1. Set your priorities straight

Women are more likely to view things from an emotional perspective than a logical one which in most cases make them to stick to some wrong choices consistently.

That's why every sensible and wise lady should know how to chase her needs before her wants and to ensure to stick to that decision. Know thy needs young woman. The woman who knows how to set her priorities straight gets her heart desires.

2. Don't be materialistic

Especially when you're broke. A materialistic broke lady will not be able to prioritise wisely thus she's bound to fall.

If you're a materialistic lady, you will always want to have a lot which you don't really need. You won't think twice before buying expensive things (bone straight hair, 60k dress, e.t.c.) but will find it very difficult to invest in yourself.

It is only a while before you eventually turn your head towards prostitution or other illegal means to sustain your extravagant lifestyle. If you want to be materialistic, then be rich.

3. Don't put your looks forward and your hygiene behind

Though some women prioritise their looks and hygiene, we still have some who do not really care because they somehow tend to believe that they will get admirers no matter what. They are the "take me as I am" crew but they fail to realise that for a lady, her body shape, quality and looks equates her self worth and will also determine the kind of men that will approach and cherish her.

Women, your body is your money, high value men prefer better looking and clean women. Don't neglect that.

4. Be busy with something

Though you're beautiful and have an attractive shape, you still need to engage in something. Don't be idle. Don't be a queen waiting on a king. Be a queen busy with her kingdom until her king arrives. Work and earn money and quit prostitution and idle living.

5. Do not depend on your man for everything

It's disgusting when a woman tends to rely on her man for everything even her basic needs. Women like this won't be kept around for long.

6. Shun feminism

Don't be a feminist in your home if you want to have a healthy marriage, that will be lying to yourself and anyone who wants to be happy and successful shouldn't lie to his or herself.

If you yearn for a successful and peaceful marriage, shun feminism as it is against it. Let feminism be for women who choose to be single.

Hate feminism till your last blood drops and you will enjoy a better marriage.

7. Hug feminity

Feminity is the power a woman have to get what she wants. Women who imitate men tend to be unhappy and ridiculed by society. Feminity aids a woman far beyond marriage as well.

A feminine woman is nice, humble and caring. The traits men love most in women. A man would rather fall for a feminine woman than a masculine woman because she makes him feel like a man the most and he'll be eager to give in to her desires more than the other.

Moreover, a woman can't change a man to favour her but her feminity can be a reason for him to change. Thus, she becomes happy and other women will see her as an inspiration.

8. Close your legs

Your body value determines the class of men that will approach you, the more you lose your value through sex, the more serious high value men will despise you. Men study women. Men are watching you and most men will rather choose a virgin whether primary or secondary over a slut. You know that. Deal with it.

Besides the fastest way for men to loose interest in you is by sleeping with you. When you give it to me today, Xenry tommorow, Slawormiir the day after and BadRadio the next week, you're just giving the impression that you have less or no value which lowers your chance of getting or keeping better men.

9. Stop chasing bad boys and scornful men

For God sake, chasing people will always put you at a loss. Consider a man who sells yam at the road and sees Uncle Lalasticlala driving by and chases after him with a tuber of yam, begging him on arrival to purchase the yam.

If the yam's original price was #1, 200, Uncle Lalasticlala will be at power to reduce the price to his own choice, perhaps as low as #500 which will make the man out of desperation to tender it to him leading to his sad loss BUT peradventure the man had opened a nice yam shop with an attractive display that lures people to it, he would sell at a much better price and may even find a better buyer.

Therefore my point is this, chasing people especially bad people will put you at a huge loss. You'll have to follow their own terms to be accepted and what do most guys require from ladies? You'll answer that yourself.

Besides studies have shown that being a bad boy is no longer perceived as cool. Chase a bad boy if you love to be taken advantage of.

As I said to the guys in my previous thread, so I'll say, Don't chase people man or woman, rather be yourself and invest in yourself more and the right people would come around you.

10. Invest in yourself

It will do you good and no evil. People who invest in themselves increase their value and are revered by society. Read more books than people's statuses. Look more attractive, engage in something, add to your cooking skills, be hygienic as though no one has ever be hygiene before. Invest in yourself today.

Hope I'm making sense

If they call you stingy then stop sending money. Only send to your parents. Put your parents on monthly salary. If they can’t use the salary to pay their bills then it means they living above their means....if your younger ones call you stingy, immediately stop sending them money...you wasting money buying airtime every week for them.

Family / Re: Is Africa Really A Better Place to Raise A Child Than The Western World? by awulio(f): 4:14am On Feb 25, 2021
Firstly Every American parent I’ve ever met has complained about their kids. Every Nigerian child that i knew that went to nigeria came back a better person. 90% of American kids believe they don’t need to respect anyone. I don’t care about greetings and all those things but for a 12 year old or 5 years old to be telling their parents shut up or Bleep you. There’s a problem. Even CEO in America prefer to hire foreigners not because they cheaper but they say foreigners carry themselves with respect and respect their job. Imagine a worker telling their boss they don’t want to do the job the boss told them to do because they don’t feel like it. Worked and schooled here. Most managers complain of American employees, most parents complain of their American raised children. If 70 % or 80% of parents or managers say they prefer foreign trained people then you should know there’s a problem with the system here.
etrange:

It's very unlikely that all the kids you know that went to Nigeria for thier teenage years ended up fine while those that didn't became problematic. I'm not doubting your experience. All I'm saying is, if you look closely, you'd also see many kids who are doing well without having to go home and many others who went home and joined bad gangs in Nigeria. Fine is relative. Your boss at work and your colleagues aren't all crazy, they just have a different cultur. Except your'e talking about kids knowing thier culture, I'd say a child becoming something in life is neither here nor there.

I believe those kids you observed just needed a new guardian who knows how to train kids in the presence of luxury. Not all parents can raise kids in the presence of luxury. Some don't have the mind to deny thier kids certain things or subject them to certain levels of difficulties, so they'd rather send the kids home and let another person do it. In this case, it's about the parents and thier shortcomings and not necessarily the US or Africa. Those parents would have still had exactly the same issues with the kid if they were living in places like the Banana Island in Nigeria. I know this because most of those kids that go home still go to live in luxurious places, sometimes even more luxurious and stress free than where they were in the US. So the change of country might not be the changing factor. The major difference is their new guardian who does the things their parents could not do.

Your last sentence is heavy on assumptions. I've lived in three different countries including the same North America where I presently reside so I've got my own share of experience too. Many black kids here with immigrant parents are doing fine (I was even surprised to see some speaking Igbo) though not all. Likewise, many kids in Nigeria are touts, Yahoo boys but not all. Environmental factors matter but the core of the child content can be moulded by parents. I strongly do not subscribe to the idea of sending kids away for this exact reason.

I’m not talking about deviant kids that I read about. I’m talking out of personal experiences here in America..... even American parents complain about their kids. Nigerian parents complain about it the kids. Every Nigerian kid that I know that went back to nigeria for a few.m years came back better and more respectful. They all said living in nigeria made them appreciate everything their parents do for them. Not 1 not 2.m but more than 10 kids that I know were sent back for about 2 years. I’m taking from personal experience. You talking from what you read . quote author=etrange post=99336573]

I never said America was the best place to raise a kid. I said someone living in the western world does not need to send his teens to Nigeria. North America has both Canada's and the US. I only used the US as example but the western world goes beyond America. Yes, you know the story of a useless child but does that really summarise America? Do you have the slightest idea how many stories of people who have killed or maimed their loved ones we see on front page everyday? Have you suddenly forgotten the numerous stories of boys gang rapping younger girls we read everyday here? Does any of these stories summarise Nigeria? No, they don't cause many Nigerians are doing great. Likewise, these deviant kids you read about don't summarise the US cause many US kids are doing great. There'll always be the bad ones but a good number of Nigerian kids abroad are doing just fine.

I am not doubting the intelligence of Nigerians but that intelligence is useless if there's no sound education system to harness it. You said it yourself that the government invest much into education thus making them more inventive. Why then send the teen to Africa at the age when he needs that education the most? You don't need to go Africa to learn skills to survive in America. That's just my point.
Firstly I’m a woman. Secondly I do live abroad my whole life. I live in the USA. Spent sometime in nigeria so that’s why I’m able to give insights into this. Schools here teach children to do as they please. I’ve heard people tell my cousins don’t listen to people if you don’t want to. Imagine a 12 year old cursing an adult. Even Nigerian parents and American parents complain about their children. I’ve seen many Nigerian parents send there children back to nigeria for a few years and they always came back very respectful. Most kids that went back to nigeria for a few years all said being in nigeria made them appreciate everything their parents do .
KingAzubuike:

Oga forget all these respect talks, it's all about culture. What's seen as normal here is seen as abnormal there and vice versa. Some of those things you tag as respect, if you go abroad , they'll see it as a weird nonsense. For example calling an elder one sir sounds weird to alot of them. If you kneel or bend to greet, they'll be like "wtf is this".

Go to Japan, it's disrespectful to eat in public transport or making loud conversations, here we see it as normal. It's also disrespectful to tip someone but here it's normal, it's not a disrespect. It depends on where you are. If you're in Rome, behave like a roman.

I know a girl that was massively disrespectful, drinking and bringing men to the fathers house at 14....just 2 years in Nigerian boarding school, the girls head reformat and now she’s very respectful.....I believe Nigerian children abroad should Atleast spend 2 years in nigeria during secondary school, so that they will have sense.

The African mentality is so messed up. Why would you want a child to suffer and see hardship before he knows what life is truly about?

America is not the best place to live dude. I know a girl right now that smokes, drinks and even stabbed her brother because the brother told her not to be shouting at the mother.....The mother can’t do anything to discipline the child. The girl has been going in and out of jail since she was 16.....American children are the most ill behaved kids here.....Plus the only reason that American children can invent stuff is because the government invests in the schools... but when it comes to book it’s Indians and Nigerians that are top.... out of 65 Black Harvard medical school students last year 44 were Nigerian.

I've had this argument several times. Our pride is all we've got going for us as Africans but we should know when to draw the line. You want to send a child to Africa at his formative age knowing fully well that that's exactly when he needs to be enjoying all the western world has to offer? Foundations are laid in secondary schools, don't let your child miss out on that. Americans are known for inventions while Nigerians are known for scamming. Stereotyping is wrong cause we have both good and bad people everywhere but think about it, are kids really better of in a country like this? I don't think. I think a kid that will be good will be good regardless of where he's raised.

Not in America. I live here and my cousins are currently in school here. The things the teachers teach them here is rubbish. Imagine a 5 year old telling their mother “no you can’t tell me what to do or force me to do what I don’t want” or a 12 year old telling an adult to shut up... American schools teach children to do what pleases them

Part of what determine a man's life is society but to me with proper upbringing one could raise a child without the child being influenced negatively with what he/she sees around.

I would like to use Mushin area of Lagos as an example. If you live in Lagos you will understand what its means to tagged someone as Omo-Mushin especially in the 90s.
But believe me, I've met countless of people born and raised at Mushin but they're as calm as someone raised in G.R.A Ikeja.

They had a prenup before they married. Kanye was smart. 1 million dollars for every year married. Kanye won’t lose his money. 7 years of marriage is $7million . Kim just wants the house in California because she bought the land but Kanye built the house.

That’s false. World remit no longer allowed to deposit in local currency.

Kieel:
Tell the sender to Use world remit
You receive the money(in local currency) into your bank account instantly

I live in America it’s hard to send money to nigeria. You can’t send naira to a bank account directly. You can only send dollar to a dollar acount. If you go to most of those websites they all say the same thing can only send to dollar account or get them pick it up from a local money gram or western union. New law naija government created to stabilize the currency.... completely sucks.

post=98771248:

If they want to send money to your bank account in Nigeria, we recommend using a specialist currency provider, include WorldRemit, TransferWise, Boss Revolution, Xoom or MoneyGram.

According to our research @ ,
Thousands of people send money back to Nigeria every week.
With over 15 million Nigerians living outside Nigeria, everyone needs an easy and inexpensive way to send nairas back home to benefit family, friends and others.
People from Nigeria send around $20 billion back home each year.

This is even the best and right time to have more money sent from abroad.

After all said and done,
Wiseandtrue,
Maybe that someone you spoke to outside the country is not ready to send you shishi and only decided to keep scoping you... no be u again our darling W! wink

Nothing is impossible. I’ve run all male groups and been the only female in the group and have done well. I’m a strong female and can handle it. Nothing stresses me at all so never getting high blood pressure.

slumcat:

That will never happen. Just stay away from Danfo business if you can't drive it yourself, else you could collapse from high blood pressure.
