I was an avid reader of the articles and blogs on PsychologyToday website for so many years and they really improved my way of thinking and relationships.

But sometime last year, I noticed that access to the site https://www.psychologytoday.com/ has been barred, with access denied information. I really feel pained.

Is there any way I can still access this website?

Are you using Glo or 9mobile?


It may be an issue with your network provider.


There are some websites you can't access with Glo Network, and there are some you can't access with 9Mobile.

The solution will be to use a proxy or VPN to access the website.

However, if the website blocks proxy, then your best bet will be to change your ISP.

Sometimes, it's not about the client not paying in full, some developers just do this intentionally so as to be able to keep collecting money from the client yearly for hosting and domain name renewal.

I have come across developers who do this and even clients who complain of not having access to the full features of their website.

I have even read of a particular situation where a website had to close down because the developer died without giving the client the hosting and domain name details and the web hosting said there's nothing they can do about it, and that's how the client lost all the effort he put into building the website and had to restart from scratch.

So, sometimes it's just greed on the part of the developer.

I personally see no reason, if not greed, why many developers don't create hosting details for each client (using the clients details) and explain to the client how to go about renewal, instead of using their personal account to host all their clients websites and charging each client yearly for renewal.

But what give you the impression that someone will renew after the first few months?

You see, many people are not patient and once the website isn't growing, they just abandon it.

So, what if some users abandon the domain after the first month? Or after the second? and you didn't get any other person to use the domain?

Basic Price for domain is N1000. If someone pays N500 monthly, you can make N6000 in a year, instead of N3500 for a year. I'm looking for a business partner for a monthly deal for a bigger business deal.

Domain cannot be registered monthly, the minimum is a year.


For hosting, many companies offer monthly hosting.

Luckily for me I got another reasonable job in less than 3 weeks of been retrenched


I always laugh when people complain there is no job in Nigeria, less than 5 month after leaving my previous company I have turned down almost 4 other offers some even paying than my current one
