Assalam alaykum,
This was taught to me a long time ago. allah loves not the trangressor. He does not want us to trangress against our neighbours. We are also encouraged to be moderate in everything we do. A guide is "Truth is clear from error, good is that which when you do it, you heart is sure that you will not be ashamed to be caught at it, while bad is that one you will not like to be seen doing. Again, this depends on how much you allow "that little voice" to guide you. You will know when you do something which is contrary to what please Allah.

May Allah guide us aright Amin

@Mukina, jazha kumuLlahu khairan
The most recent sermon at our mosque stressed on the importance of teaching our children the true path-Islam. We should bear in mind that we teach them in way to achieve learning. The way we teach them is reflective of how much we desire them to learn.

No matter what the world is going through, our duty is to show them but the ultimate guidance lies with Allah. This brings me to the need for us to know and understand the deen. We will also need to practice in a beautiful manner as our actions are bigger impressions on these children than whatever we say.

May Allah make our paths to Aljannah easy,, Amin

Assalam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu,
i will tell my muslim brothers and sisters on this forum a story relayed to me by a friend. I attended high school in Yola, Adamawa state. This event occurred in Mubi, adamawa state.

"A young man converted to Christianity, he would go to the mosque, climb the minaret and read out verses of the Quran on the PAS, explain them as he deems fit to discredit the word of Allah as much as his brain capacity permitted."

Being from the South and knowing "what' we know about northerners, i asked my friend what the Muslims did to this guy and she said nothing. they just let him keep raving, he was not bothering anyone. I was 15 -16 at the time and I could not understand nor appreciate this line of action.

Today, 32, i praise Allah silently and aloud for the insight he has given me. I am not upset at anyone on this forum but i will continue to encourage that we emulate the manner of Prophet Mohamed (S.A.W.) for Allah states that "he is indeed a perfect example for us.

for everyone who has contributed to the knowledge and promotion of Islam in this forum, May Allah accept it as an act of Ibadah, for the rest, we are waiting. there is a lot of thirst out there for Islamic knowledge. please let it shine through.
ma salaam

I did not learn this last friday but i thought it wise to share. That the love Allah has for us is greater than the love a mother has for her baby.

Al raheem, pls try to be a muslim in this forum or better still better muslim. We are not learning a lot from your recent posts. Pls post a good messaage to the muslim ummah. ma salam

To the muslims about Daviddylan,

Please try to ignore this individual. I realise that I am going against the same advice by mentioning him, but I have followed his posts and I will tell you of the similude of one wearing a white garment and then wrestling with a coal miner OR better you recall the one about the swimmer in the pool whose clothes were taken by a madman. You know what the elders say, a word is enough for the wise. If you evaluate all his posts (against Islam and everything else), you will agree with me that there is something fundamentally wrong. The irony is that he may actually be fortunate enough to have the beautiful "sword of Islam" pierce his heart with the true words of Allah.

Bottom line, let us ignore him. I promise you he will leave this thread, insha Allah

ma salam

Please continue to post any thing that might be of relevance to the muslim ummah. Once I start reading a post and I see blasphemous writings there, I stop bc ki oju ma ri ibi, gbogbo ara loogun re. I also want to say kudos to Observer01, glad to see that some people exist that still practice sensibility.

Again, muslims, ignore the distractors and address your post to muslims. You watch and see what will happen in a litlle while.

Again, keep the faith, it is true, firm and sure.

I am not surprised at all the responses by people like m4malik, shahan, daviddylan. What i would say to the muslims in this forum is to IGNORE these people. Isn't it a surprise that even though christians/non muslims claim that muslims are aggressive, a forum for muslims is practically turned into a battle field by non muslims? See for yourselves, search your heart and find the truth. It will set you free.
Someone is trying to speak to muslims in a forum and you start posting all sorts. Please do reply again (need I ask? I know you will) and use the worst terms you know how. Allah is King and will judge accordingly. Nay, I will not plead with you not to.

If your hearts were secure in that which you worship, you needed not have come to this particular post.
For the muslims reading, keep the faith, you will triumph in the end.

This is an interesting post and although I have not read every entry here, I must confess that I am a little disappointed that many users of this forum are a little brainwashed.
First to answer the question,, Jesus is not God. If you read your bible the right way up and not upside down, you will find many instances when he referred to himself as "son of man", more times than "son of God" and never as "God". I will not be listing biblical quotes here.

Also when Jesus said in the same bible that on the day of judgment, some people will say "Oh but I performed miracles in your name" and Jesus will tell them " No,you are not of me" , Now do you think these people are non christianhuh.

Well I'll have to break it down, these people are christians, well versed in the bible and may have even performed miracles using the name of Jesus. That does not make you right. Jesus has already warned you.

Before I wrap this up, please take time to turn your bible right side up (from upside down that it is now),
Remember the disciple of Jesus who sold his gown to buy a sword on the night Jesus was betrayed (yeah, but it was a spiritual sword, some of you might say). Well, recall then that this sword was used to cut off someone's ears.
Phew!! that must be some sharp spiritual sword.

Word up!
New member here to holla at y'all. Okay speak English,

Seun, message for you. I would like to commend the good job being done by this website and again, I like your pix.
I have a request though and it is that you fix the search function of the website. It is a hassle to go through so many pages when I am trying to find a topic.

Remember, this is a good website but it can be a lot better. I know fixing the search function is not such a big deal. Do not relent on improving what you have here.

Okay, there I've said it.

Thank you all for your response to the job ad.

Below are some details:
1. This is one assignment but there is opportunity for more based on your performance. Remember referals are still the bane of good business.
2. It involves gathering information as discreetly as possible.
3. Pictures/photos will be needed as evidence as well as final product of job done.

To be considered fairly, Send in your resume including information about similar assignments you have done. I will take your previous customer referal.

If you do not have experience in this field, it is not a deciding factor. Let me know that you are smart, creative and can get the job done.

lastly and importantly, please submit to this email how much you intend to charge for the services. This is an assignment that would take 2 days for the very smart one and should not take more than a week for anyone.

Pls reply to ayinba@yahoo.com

For lonely whatever, ignore her. even if she is CITIZEN X4, the bottom line is she is ajeji. She cannot bring you to US just like that. I agree with those who say that this is up to God. Mr man that wants to travel, you do not need to tell anyone in this forum your intentions, just tell it to God and make it clear and pure. It is only Him that decides the final outcome.

the nigerians who work in the US embassy will not last a day working in the US because they have minus 0 customer service. It is a shame how we treat each other, yet we complain that others treat us unfairly. I think a good statistics would be # of people attending interviews everyday (X14,000 naira) minus # of people who actually get visas (X14,000 naira) = how much the US government makes daily from Nigeria, so called third country. But wait a minute, where are the college professors and statisticians?? Ohh they are on strike.

If we as Nigerians do not start treating ourselves as human, we will continue to be treated like non humans.

Please keep trying but do not waste your time getting  a new passport if you were turned down, everything is computerised plus the fingerprinting. It is sad that even I would try to leave that country, nigeria is hurting us, it is hard not too hate the country.
