Hi,

I need help from the house here, as I don't want to be making the same mistakes and I know your guidance works.

I desire to travel and the scheghen is also in my bucket list but I have gotten previous rejections from at least 3 scheghen country.(these were all company invited trips and yes I submitted invitation letter but was rejected based on purpose of trip not clear or reasonable doubt to leave the country)

Decided to take a break and focus on travelling to other places. Is that a good plan, will it improve my chances.

Also how many countries do I have to travel to actually get a scheghen visa. Also what can I do differently, I feel like I did everything within the play book but maybe I wasn't submitting enough evidence. I'm honestly not sure.

I know I want to try again soon maybe next year maybe towards the end of the year but I want to do it right

As someone who got rejected even with a company invitation letter, I was so confident I ticked all the boxes during my application. The second time I applied, I had to seek the assistance of an immigration lawyer. They noticed the inconsistencies in my income, uncertainties about my coming back to a Nigeria because I stated I’d be visiting another country on tourism on a business visa application and lack of home ties. I’d suggest that if you’ve been denied thrice, you should also seek assistance from professionals as many times, you’d be surprised by the irregularities in your seemingly perfect application.

That's why I say make I ask o..will give him a call regards that

Be careful with agents. Many times they put together fake documents for unsuspecting victims and completely jeopardize any possible chance to get visas in future. If you must engage the help of any agency, contact registered immigration law firms.

Hello house..great platform here.

For those that went through the conference route, pls how did you go about accommodation? The thing is I had already started the processing through an agent before I came was fortunate to stumble on this thread 3days ago.
My agent said someone will come pick me up after landing but I'm trying to work on a plan B incase his own link fails to work or show.

Conference route? Someone coming to pick you up? Are you sure you are not about to get scammed?

Congratulations. Did you still apply with Belgium embassy the second time?
And did you mention in your new application that your visa was refused and state the reasons?

I applied through France and I didn't mention my previous denial. I just made sure I addressed the reasons for the denial e.g attaching family pictures, explaining income and not mentioning that I have plans to visit another country.

Congrats:list of documents submitted and how much is ur account balance pls...

Account balance was about 8k. I'll have to check for the full document list. But from the top of my head,

- Invitation letter
- Introduction letter from my employer
- itinerary
- Account statement
- Family pictures with my parents and siblings
- Hotel and flights booking evidence

I think it also helped that I said I wanted to spend just five days and insisted I had nobody abroad. Plus my family pictures and explanation of how I receive my salary. The reason for my previous denial was lack of home ties, questions concerning how I received my income and doubts that I intended to come back because I stated in my application that I was going to Germany as well.

Congrats. Did you get the 3 months requested?

Unfortunately no. Just 10 days. But after the first denial, I’m grateful. I’ll reapply before the end of the year and I hope it’s easier since it won’t be my first time.

Share more details on your profile:

- Travel history to US, UK, Schengen, Australia, New Zealand or other Western countries with stringent immigration processes

- Employment profile, earning power

- Other home ties?

Also note that given your intention is to spend the bulk of your time outside Netherlands, you might need to apply through the German embassy as it sounds like you'll spend more time there. Read here for more info: https://home-affairs.ec.europa.eu/policies/schengen-borders-and-visa/visa-policy/where-and-how-apply-schengen-visa_en#:~:text=You%20must%20lodge%20the%20application,will%20spend%20the%20longest%20period.

If you are going to spend only 1 week for work, and 2+ months on vacation, it is going to be a tough sell and only your profile and how convincing your application is might help, IMO.

Thank you so much for replying. I'm a first time traveller,I'm a software developer earn reasonably well working for the Dutch company. I have no serious home times(I'm unmarried and young), hoping this won't be a problem. I already decide to spend a bit longer time in Netherlands, as getting visa appointments at the German embassy is almost impossible. And I'll avoid stating that I want to spend that much time in Germany.
Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ayinke93(f): 12:24am On Mar 17, 2023
Hi Everyone! please I need your guidance on my application. I'm going to the Netherlands for a work meet-up thing, Because I work for a Dutch company. Netherlands visa applications for Nigerians are done through the French embassy, so I think any information given here should be valid in my case too.

I plan to spend about two to three months in the Schengen region,A week in the Netherlands, and the remaining times will be spent in Germany with my boyfriend, and we have plans to visit a couple other countries within this period. In summary, I'll be exhausting almost the whole 3 months validity period if my visa is approved. I have no issues with accommodation either in Germany or Netherlands, I just want to know if it's wise to state that I'll be spending that amount of time there. I can get my boyfriends proof of accommodation in Germany if it helps in any way, and I have no issue proving that I have approximately 50 dollars daily for the times I plan to stay in the Schengen region. Any Ideas on how to properly tailor my application? Also, should I apply single or multiple entry? what difference does it make?

Also, I already purchased my travel insurance with a three months validity period. I hope there's no issue with that?

I look forward to your responses. Thanks.

He is NOT the Head of the house because he has more money, but because that's the position God puts him in the nuclear family.
If you have problem with that, go and argue with God.
If you rebel against his headship or despise him because you're richer than him, you will have God to contend with and answer to.

Which god? Krishna ,Allah or Jehobvah? or I almost forgot, there are thousands other. Tell me the one I'm contending with so i can prepare properly grin grin

well, didn't know you were that far gone, but I'd rather be barren than deliberately bring kids to suffer.

lolz. There's something called hunger and it's a punishment for lazy people like you. I only feel bad for the babies that'll suffer the consequences of both you and your husband's irresponsibility. You are an adult, and you don't have the right to demand to be catered for like you are handicapped. Don't be deceived, a good marriage is an achievement. Emphasis on good tho, because the kind things you people have been calling marriage for generations is just suffer head and many people would have been better off single. Back to my point, companionship is a basic necessity in life, and you can achieve everything in life, but nothing beats having your own person. When you really find someone on your team to do life with, it's a big achievement.

I've been watching Indian content since school days and I've forced myself to understand them when they speak. Those guys are good, and i won't allow their accent stand as a barrier. You should checkout his Namaste Javascript series, premium content

I beg you with Heaven and Earth do not marry a visionless man or else you'll suffer and suffer well.
You'll become despised and frustrated.
You'll later divorce or start dealing with abuse.
Later you'll have disturbed mental health
You'll loose yourself and start living for your Children
You'll forget you came alone to this life and you also deserve to "live"
You'll die with the source of your happiness just being your Children and not yourself.

Thank you. This is the perfect summary

Preach.

I can't even understand a woman paying an Uber for a man, let alone housing him and he's talking about her emasculating him then exerting said emasculation by battering her.

If she didn't "build" with him, the same men here would abuse her and talk hypergamy nonsense. Men who don't have money are terrible and dangerous.

Very terrible and dangerous o. I’ve experienced one before and the ret@rd won’t stop creating threads upon threads about breakup that happened over four years ago. I’ll forever preach against women being with losers like that.

He's so broke. He can't afford it. I will have to start all over again with the fruit biz. I will have to look for another money to continue the biz.

He's still looking for a job to keep soul and body together. I will leave him with God. At least my life was not taken.

It’s always the broke , jobless ones. They have nothing going on for them, and require their partners to worship them to fuel their delusion and faux masculinity. Sorry you went through this sis. Avoid bottom rung men like a disease. They have nothing but stress to offer.
