icez: Show some love to MKOI want to state it here that MKO was a philiantropist in his life-time and we appreciate it. Infact the greatest. We all must learn from history and pass it down to the next generation. MKO had somany shady deals. He and IBB were good friends but they had a rift (which ofcourse would be about power sharing) and IBB through Abacha messed him up. The SW are not naive and dumb. MKO worked really hard during his campaign and he won the election. Beaf: Lets be honest, something has gone terribly wrong in the SW.Saying something is wrong with SW shows you're ill-informed. I'm not against immortalizing MKO but let due process prevail. Plus, is it only education that MKO represents? He already has MAPOLY in Abeokuta. Why not something else? Even Pa Ajasin that severed this country, never stole a penny and died in the prison was immortalised with ONE school. Why does MKO deserve two schools? GEJ cant woo us with that, he needs to perform. Simple. |

The SW are not like the SS and the Northerners that hide under "Na our own, make we support am". They say the truth. U can ask OBJ how we challenged his bid for 3rd term. That said, MKO NEVER, I repeat NEVER fought for the people. He fought for himself. Do you think he was killed because of his political programs for the masses? Hell no. But he was the duly elected President in 1993, anyways. |

ogugua88: It's amazing how being human is frowned upon. Anyone who has a changing body has stretchmarks. Pregnant women, people who gain weight, people who lose weight, body builders, etc. They are what they are. It doesn't take away or add to the person's inner self. If anything, a person who can carry stretchmarks or excessive hair without caring about another person's opinion scores points in my book.Thats it. I'm convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that the NH certification was set up in a way to extort those students. When Akande, the Founder of NH launched the ICT center in your school, did you know he signed a deal with BU that he would run that place for 10yrs after which he would transfer full ownership to the school? A friend that once worked in NH told me that he made almost a million dollars from these certification thingy with different private schools, last year. He and the school collided in making certifications compulsory for all IT students. If you have got the panache, I'd suggest that you draft a letter to the VC Academics telling him about the problem and wait for his response. I honestly believe that the vast majority of those students were extorted. Anyways, I pray she finds favour. if not, that means she'd have to pay a little above $1000 to re-take a certification...what a waste!!  |
