Since then, it remained so untl Jesus Christ showed up to restore marriage back to its former glory - no more curse of submission.

From your third point, you're the one who clearly lacks an understanding of that curse in Genesis 3 v 16, so I have absolutely no problem with it. This curse applies to MEN and WOMEN not MARRIAGE. The earlier you succeed in processing this, the better.

I'm not telling you to appreciate marriage. I'm just telling you it makes no sense downplaying something as sacred as such.... and sustaining a marriage for a very long time isn't child's play. Certain things must come into play for that to happen.

And please, always read and understand your own posts. You claim marriage is cursed.... but Christ came to restore it.

When something is cursed it doesn't grow? What are you talking about?

From your write-up, you clearly have something against marriage. We'll keep going back and forth. So, there's little or nothing I can do to make you see reasons.
Again, that marriage doesn't guarantee holiness before God doesn't mean its essence should be undermined. It is meant for adults who value companionship, are willing to be responsible for each other and the children that will follow.... not for people who will rush into it carelessly, and then when things go wrong, they'll give you reasons to hate marriage.

So, those that have stayed long in their marriages know of how much value it is to them... and their children, despite the little misunderstandings or shortcomings that makes you think it's a curse.

As for your last statement, are you aware of the fig tree Jesus cursed? That should be enough.

God cursed marriage when He cursed the husband and wife specifically, this in Genesis 3 vs 16 . Ofcourse, there were curses that pertained also to those outside of a marriage but that specific curse to those who make up a marriage meant God also cursed marriage.

2. What "spiritual forces" are these that you claim are looking to dent a cursed institution? For Pete's sake, God cursed any man and woman who enter into a marriage that is in submission to the curse - a marriage where where woman submits to the man - ... So what other spiritual forces are you looking for except the one God Himself installed in them by way of His own curse?

No amount of caution can make a cursed marriage of God or right in the eyes of God. None whatsoever! If what you are instead looking to have is a 'good marriage according to the definitions of this world, then sure, even the unbelievers have many of those too.

If marriage is truly cursed like you said, why did Christ Himself use it as a yardstick for union between man and woman in Matthew 19 : 5-6..... are you sure you have an idea of what a curse means?

And you'll have to be careful here.... your words are heavily against you. Because if you think marriage is cursed, then everything that comes from it is cursed.... including you as an offspring... and you don't want to agree with yourself right now based on this. They're your words at the end of the day.

As for your last paragraph, those who have been in their marriages for 30+ years, certainly won't agree with you.

When something is cursed, it doesn't grow. Man will never graduate or escape hustle if he wants to put food on his table.... and a woman, as long as she wants to give birth, will never have it smooth. Now,.....that's a curse.

Use the word 'curse' very carefully.... for your own sake.

Coz, even if you're not married, you'll still face hardship/ hustle as a man.... and to the woman, pain while in labour, because God still said she'll still desire her husband. Baby mamas too give birth. Is it rosy for them?

Again, the fact that marriage isn't a perfect institution doesn't excuse anyone from carelessly venturing into it without considering the fundamental ingredients necessary to sustain it.

Now, let me just say this.... there are spiritual forces looking to dent that institution called marriage. I can bear witness to this. One scenario played out recently but the story long sha.

Long and short, one should be spiritually cautious. You may not have an idea or be uninterested of what is at play spiritually, but don't underestimate those who try to ruin that union called marriage.
