is it not Ihedioha that is stirring the dust. The right statement here should be, let Ihedioha concentrate on what he comes to do and leave Rochas alone. We all know that Rochas worked and no amount of propaganda can deny him that. The 13 higher institutions, the 27 general hospitals and 27 ICT centers, the free education policy, the federal high Court complex, the bridges and tunnels, the prison, the police headquarter's complex, the 2 stadia in Orlu and Okigwe, the new markets, the renovated Imo international airport, the roads, the urban renewal in Owerri, Orlu, and Okigwe, the youth must work policy and so on.

Ihedioha should stop this childish game of showing us toilet and dredging site just to discredit Rochas. Let him work to prove to us that Rochas is a criminal and did nothing, not bringing up propaganda. At least I'm happy with the new policy of GO GREEN, STAY CLEAN initiative. This is a very nice step which will ensure that roads in Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe will be well kept and clean. It is what we want not in fighting between brothers which most times comes from Ihedioha.

Okorocha was supposed to do a proper handover..that's how things work in sane societies.

If you are asked to manage a business without having a detailed breakdown of its assets and liabilities, your chances of making it a resounding success are slim.

If I was Ihedioha, I would use the police to pick up Rochas, leveling serious allegations on him.

my brother, Okorocha is claiming he did everything necessary in respect of the handover while Ihedioha is claiming otherwise, I don't know who to believe. But that's by the way. Mind you Ohakim inherited burned document and government house from Udenwa he did not lament much he forged ahead. Why is Ihedioha crying down heaven.

Sentiment apart, I'm believing Okorocha going by what Ihedioha is displaying. He has a motive and the motive is to destroy whatever achievement Okorocha made in Imo state. Which is totally a wrong step. Okorocha did well in Imo state which is there for every eye to see. Let's not hate or crucify him due to party affliction. It might be you tomorrow.

Okorocha was sworn-in today, the next day he started expanding roads in Orlu and renovating government properties in Owerri. Ohakim was sworn-in, two days later he initiated the Imo clean and green initiative. Ihedioha, 6days is already down, he has not done anything but rather destroying the ones that was done by the previous administration. Let's call a spade a spade, this man has no clear-cut agendium. I'm waiting to see the amount of road he will expand or create in Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe, number of higher institutions he will build, the amount of stadia, markets, malls and plaza he will construct, how he will sustain or upgrade the existing free education program, federal project he will take up with Imo state fund and wait for fed. government refund, how many investment he's going to attract and so on.

If I may advise him, I will advise he to leave these unnecessary furores he is trying to generate and consolidate on what the previous administrations have done and even attract new ones for the betterment of his people. If what he's doing is not politically motivated, what prevents him from driving with his convoy to Ogboko and ask Rochas, Oga have you forgotten that you have to give me some documents, as simple as that, and no one will hear all these media show up. The media war he wants to draw, Rochas Okorocha has nothing to lose as no one can never deny him of once being the governor of Imo state for two consecutive terms but Ihedioha has alot to lose.

We can still take what you said, let him use police and pick up Rochas so that the whole world will know the truth. There are many ways he can solve these problem without these media show up.

The pictures in this thread are from Okorocha's 8 years in office and private investments in the hospitality and tourism sector. Ihedioha has not spent up to 1 week in office and you are expecting him to have transformed Imo to Singapore abi?

Let him start from somewhere first. He has not done anything rather destroying the ones Okorocha did. He nullified the establishment of the six higher institutions, sacked all LGAs chairmen and councillors, and attempted destroying Akachi monument. Remember Okorocha and Ohakim started awarding contracts on the very 1st day of their inauguration.

For allegedly pressuring him to join the dreaded Baga Confraternity, a suspect, Izuchukwu Ifeacho, has confessed to stabbing one Iruchukwu Nnebe to death.

A statement by the Enugu State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, indicated that Ifeacho, a native of Amankpunato in the Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State, killed the deceased, a native of the same community, on Friday, May 31, 2019, in self-defence.

Amaraizu said the deceased, a member of the Baga Confraternity, was reported to have been disturbing the suspect to join his group, but Ifeacho allegedly refused and avoided him.

However, on Friday, May 31, the deceased and other members of his group reportedly trailed the suspect to a shop where he had gone to eat in the night at Amankpunato and told him, “Today, Korofo will suck blood since he does not want to join them.”

Amaraizu quoted the suspect to have told the police that after the deceased and his group members started beating him, he escaped from them, picked up a kitchen knife and returned to the sceneand stabbed Nnebe.

The PPRO said Nnebe was later rushed to the hospital for medical attention and was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
He added that the corpse of the deceased had been deposited in the Oji-River General Hospital mortuary.

It is very bad of the outgoing government to leave their successor stranded. Was that how Ikedi Ohakim treated Rochas? If so, the trend should be solidly discouraged. Governance should be continuity. This is serious lack of maturity in its entirety!

He was called several times for tour, balancing of accounts and proper handover of documents, and he refused to show up. He inherited 42billion naira, and kept mute over it. Don't take him serious, from all indications, he has shown that he did not come to work but to loot and cause problems.

Is he the only newly sworn-in governor? Other ones have started work while he's here indirectly giving reasons why he will not work. He should ensure that he do proper account of the 42billion naira left in the state treasury.

He posted the directive on his Twitter account, @EmekaIhedioha, Monday afternoon.

“The government that ended was not prepared to handover or ready to receive us. I thank Imo people for receiving us and we shall serve the state with the fear of God.

“All financial institutions that have a relationship with Imo State Government should not honour any withdrawal instruction by cheques, transfers or in any form.”
