Politics › Re: Debunking The Latest Lie: Nigeria did not earn $10bn from Raw Cocoa exports by ba7man(m): 10:01am On Aug 02, 2015
PPAngel:
Olofo.

This is what Adesina stated in that same source.

How come Nigeria which only contributes 4% of total raw cocoa production accounted for $10bn?

Keep decieving yourselves.

This is a chart of raw cocoa production which Adesina stated is worth $10bn

Given Nigeria's global market share of 5% and total net worth of finished cocoa products at $200bn, Afesina stated that Nigeria accounted for $10bn of this total finished cocoa products.

So stop distorting the article to spur your deflated egos.

As things stand Nigeria only made $780million from raw cocoa exports.

With an estimated population of 50million in the SW, cocoa added $15 to annual GDP to the SW.

Now compare that to Bayelsa with a population of 800,000 and oil production of 600,000 barrels per day.

Even at $50 per barrel, Bayelsa would have earned $30 per citizen per day and over $12,000 per citizen per year which translates to approximately 3 million naira each for every man, woman, child in Bayelsa.

Now who is the poor waif?

You keep speaking of potential while in the SS we are already one step to realization.

All we need is to leave this useless country
Even if you leave or stay, the money will still go into the pockets of your much celebrated oil bunkerers,
militants, pa Edwin Clark, your traditional rulers, Governors, political leaders, GEJ and PEJ.

Yorubas make me laugh honestly, very myopic set of people. Please tell me what the Yorubas have gained from this Government? All the juicy positions are being shared among Northerners while the Yorubas are made the "ALARIWO" of the North. This is very shameful for a zone who did all the hard work of re-branding and campaign that brought the Government to power.

I'll rather be without any position than be a spokesperson of an old illiterate. Tinubu must be feeling sorry for himself right now.
Now this this the myopia that keeps plaguing people like you.

My main reason for supporting APC for presidency is having the Presidency aligning with APC states to ensure better implementation of projects, not to be rewarded with kinsmen in Government positions that has never borne any positive impact on me........ and even you.

Watch the rate at which projects will be approved and implemented in the South west from now on.

Y'all can keep crying for juicy positions for your kinsmen that will never benefit you.

Singapore left Malaysia and became a well renowned city/country. Biafrans are travelers with strong business acumen.. It's obvious Biafrans want to build advance city that can compete with other great architectural engineers of the 21st century module. But, the zoo can't simply attain to that. They still prefer to live in a sub standard environment like baboons.

barcanista:
This report is filled with hypocrisy. I am not surprised because this medium (Leadership) is owned by APC Chieftain and Buhari Campaigner for the 2011 and 2015 Presidential Elections.

Let's see...

There was nothing "illegal" in the $2.1b ECA. In fact, I challenge anyone to state which law was broken. However, it is a fact that the former Minister made the withdrawal knwon even before it was effected. We are not saying that Buhari shouldn't "probe", what we are saying that he shouldn't do it hypocritically with the sole aim of pronouncing someone guilty even before unearthing facts. Just like what Oshiomole was doing.

Allegation of money laundering? This is funny... Not even the DSS made such allegation! We however, want to see the foreign accounts that the money was laundered or the bank that helped in laundering the money. This is plainly absurd. As for the rubbish allegation of treason, the so-called "incriminating evidence" by the DSs are all jokes. What is stopping them from filing a suit in court? Buhari is yet to convince Nigerians of any offence by Sambo.

We all agree with this. In fact, I encourage Buhari to start by revisiting Sanusi's indictment by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. He also need to bring Obj to book for Power scam and PTDF, Atiku (PTDF), Saraki (Societe Bank), Haliburton guys, the Abachas, NNPC thieves etc.

As stated above...

Which APC members? Nyako was indicted under GEJ, Saraki's wife is being haunted for political reasons (I care not about the Sarakis). When will he pursue the case against Sylva, Amaechi, Atiku, Obasanjo, Tinubu etc?
Dude calm your b00bies.

Buhari's starting from the biggest criminals from the previous administration since it happens to be the most corrupt ever witnessed in Nigeria.

They happen to be PDP associates and members since they were the ones in power and had full access to the pot of honey.

This is a case of ''ashimapeyinkotikanyin''.

DAFTUS has started spewing rubbish again, how can you travel to G7 with a wish list and you said you dont need foreign aid?

How can you celebrate 13.6 billion dollars as an achievement from US when even Jim Ovia can advance such loan to you

When we subtract the 2.2 billion dollars from the 13.6 billion that US promised Nigeria then we will be left with a paltry 11.4billion dollars that even iya basira that sells beans can advance to DAFTUS
Do your research next time before coming out to display your ignorance so confidently.

Even the ikemba had one of his bunkers a walk from my grandfathers house where he hid on code during the war. I heard he had such bunkers all over and shuttles in-between. I've done my own independent research one on one basis with men that fought and tasted the sour taste of an unprepared war. Those three men from my family who got killed were the brightest stars back then. My old man only got lucky and escaped the commandos---the reason why I'm here now and typing this very moment.
