Well said Manny, I absolutely understand you However, the point here is that Coscharis does not manufacture any of the cars they sell and cant necessarily be categorised as an industry in and by itself. My post was hammering waivers granted under Nigerias industrialization policy. A Car importer is not supposed to be covered under this policy because it isnt into manufacturing, but yet the government granted Coscharis a blanket waiver for 300 cars for Eko Games. And yet Coscharis was able to add the NCAA vehicles and import them under the Eko Games waiver, meaning the waiver was not specific and the cars that Eko games needed were not up to 300.
You forgot to add that the profit they make on the sales goes into their pockets. |
He's doing his job.......what he's being paid to do for chrissake!!!! |
Oil theft........NNPC under declaring the amount realized from oil sales........corruption and outright theft eating away at the declared sum.......Niger Delta still under-developed despite the different groups fighting for its cause..........., Polution still doing its damage to their soil and water........ This oil is truely a curse. I'm certain Nigeria will be better off without it. |
karl max: Efcc wont investigate but they investigated bode george, james ibori, fayose, gbenga daniels and other pdp members found wanting which people like some hypocrite above me now call thieves. Like i said if ur sure an FG or pdp member stole money and. U have facts be a responsible citizen and write a petition and send to them and if ur so foolish like the simpleton above who feels allegations on the pages of news paper dont translate to evidence. He's in court on trial..........what more do you want?? At least no one is screaming "He's being unfairly prosecuted because he's ACN or Yoruba". If he's found guilty he should be jailed. Simple. |
Kuforiji is a very controversial individual. I believe he should be throughly probed and if found guilty, jailed. There's another important ACN legislator that used to live close by........That particular one too is a serious suspect. I expect him to be picked up soon if this case is pursued further. |
taharqa: I thought I asked you to SHUT ya mouth UP??spot the similarities.
I know that waivers and grants are all part of the governments industrialisation policy. But on what grounds did the FG grant a blanket tax waiver to Coscharis (which is not an industry) to import 300 cars?! How can other Nigerians access this waiver scheme?! What does it take to qualify for a Waiver?!
I can bet my right eye they will never consider the common man when they finally get their wish to increase the import duty on automobiles. @Topic. Did punch lie with the article??........ If "no" she should sit-up and shut up.........If "yes" she should sue them. |
Provie: My thoughts exactly! I just hope these desperate APC pple didnt infiltrate his birthday party. JEG is below average, bt d APC I know is evil. You're so right, APC poisoned Abacha and Yaradua too. It appears there are insiders that can get rid of you if you do conform to their expectations while in power..................Or this might just be another cospiracy story. |
Na wa ooo.........which newspaper make man read again now ![]() |
AKUNWATA1: THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT Buhari WANT TO TURN NIGERIA INTO...LET US UNITE AND DISGRACE THAT TERRORIST ONCE AGAIN IN 2015. SAY NO TO JIHADIST LIKE BUHARIYou got 31 Likes with that stup1d post ................There are truely a lot of daft people in this country. No wonder most areas look like sh*tholes. |
Get well soon Mr President.

If APGA has the heart of Anambra, they will welcome a re-run of this election. |
Crap......Do you know how large the sun is?? The Earth is like a speck compared to it, let alone a comet. It will simply disintegrate the comet as if nothing happened. @OP. You're not too intelligent for adding that alarming opening comment. |
SeaGold: Wow! Time to start investing on automobiles instead of landed properties. You'll wait till 2022 before you'll clear out your stock of 20 Hiace buses. How many people could afford the brand new cars in the first place?? |
basilo101: hmmm dis ppl sef. other ppl r fightiing and dying for wat dey believe in, una de form sophisticated. stay dia and continue dreaming. ur region will continue to be invaded and u cnt do shi.t. continue writing petitions and carrying placards. Niger Delta is probably stockpiling arms, same as north, SE having lost a war is exploring connections in the UN and all u do is sit down and wish, and laugh at others for trying and failing. what else is the definition of cowardice?Don't worry, the South-west will be on the sidelines again watching you all kill yourselves over what you believe in as long as you keep your "war" outside the West.......Your refugees had better face Cameroon and not flock to the South-west. |
I don't believe Chidinma......the coincidence is too much. Same looks........same body stature...... same hairstyle......even same hair's length...... |
Sorry my friend, nobody will solicit for anything from any tribe. Truth is that the north that has produced the highest number of presidents is still the most backward of all the regions. The only thing we need is freedom from the rest of you(NIGERIA)
Well, it doesn't seem so with the large number of your people in the South west and North that refuse to relocate home regardless of the situation. @Agbameta, you know your statement is wrong. There are a lot of Igbos that don't support what's happening. |
aryzgreat: Why not name d minister? These ppl and dia media propaganda. So d only way to push d federal govt to do road is by constant propaganda? Na wa!I wonder if all those cases of people that died in car crashes while trying to dodge pot-holes is all propaganda too. |
Sincere 9gerian: The question is who are the "aggrieved politicians" in the Anambra election? If this report is anything to go by, aggrieved chieftains of APC and PDP sabotaged the election in Idemili North. How can a party sabotage an election to negatively affect itself?? The chief suspects of a crime are always the people that benefit the most from it. Its a no brainer in investigation. |
@Rossike. The question we should be asking now is......."What happened to the Black Race that slowed our progress as a civillzation"?? If we had continued at the rate we were in the past, we would have been the ones dishing out reports on "IQ" levels around the world. As long as we have some of the most valuable Natural resources abundant in the World but we can't effectively use it to better the lives of the populace. Our leaders would rather embezzle it to buy luxury products (While the masses support nd fight for them over crumbs they'll receive), fight and kill ourselves over it, we give them permission to insult us. |
Rigging regardless of your political affiliation is the bane of our society. It shows how deep corruption has eaten into our morals as Nigerians. Maybe its until people rise against it, not by just talking against it but by storming locations where votes are being rigged and attack those at it en-mass, beating them silly, jungle justice style (since the law enforcers are probably in on it too). Maybe if this move becomes widespread, things might gradually change. BTW, Most of you disgust me because i saw non of you speak-up against the Rigging that just took place in Anambra.......Rather, you dig up this case to divert attention and justify your hatred for APC. You represent the disease afflicting Nigeria. You're all exactly what you accuse people to be. |
With the happenings in Nigeria and comments i read on NL, some people want me to believe the average Nigerian has a high IQ. The sad thing is they actually think they're intelligent. Some people need to be shot for this nation's progress to be speedy. |
fatwallet: Sadly our culture is backward and not worth promoting into the future they are however worth being in the history museum as a reminder of past mistakes and lessons learned.Slow down.........I'm also of the same school of thot that our traditions held us back but you're taking yours too far. |
utumunta: Were they expecting the president to grace their gathering? Is he their member? They should have invited Tinubu or Buhari instead. This is not Politics.......Its stup1d1ty. |
ROSSIKE: The man who compiled it got fleeced by a high school Nigerian yahoo boy with "low IQ".Being dishonest and a thief is not a sign of high IQ. Neither is being able to insult people. |
Aigbofa: Mahatma Gandhi once said 'there's enough for everyone's need but not enough for everyone's greed'I would have agreed on our leaders not creating the right environment but the leaders are chosen from amongst the people. If you put a black child in the white man's environment, he grows up being just as smart or smarter than they are. Farid Zakari said that Nigerians have the highest PHD candidates in the USA, more than China. Nigerians tend to have some of the largest populations of international students in a lot of countries and they perform well. The problem is; after aquiring this knowledge, most stay behind in the white's environment without comin back to apply that knowledge. |
Aigbofa: When I read these things I just shake my head. I have seen primary schools in Germany that are better equipped than our best universities. But we want to make cars like Germans. This type of thinking may actually be the reason some people think we are dumb. Now who was intelligent enough to equip their primary schools more than the universities of some?? Have we shown the same seriousness to producing such complex products?? |
@Kmariko. Your analysis isn't in-depth enough. A car represents the marriage of raw materials......Metal, rubber, petroleum, leather hide, fabric, plastic, glass.....held together by technology to produce a projectile controlled by humans moving along at speed never before thought possible by man.......we're still celebrating crude-oil discovery with intention to sell, not to extract the various products within it. I don't need to put up a stealth fighter plane to know how advanced thinking has become..... Its not about how beautiful the car's interior is. Flying cars are now available, where were we when the development of things like this was in process?? As long as we're behind in the technological race, we're not functioning at full capacity, regardless of what we achieved in Egypt. |
As we're arguing on who's smarter, the new S-Class with heads-up display screens has been launched. As long as the whites are ahead in every aspect of development ( If you disagree, mention just one which blacks are ahead or at par) , all this remains empty talk. We should lead by example that the World can see not past glory or empty talk online. True, we're amongst the fastest growing economies in the World but comparing it to the Western Economy is like comparing a 7 year old child's growth spurt to a 40 year old man's. We're late to the party in a lot of things.

If the Government official and the INEC official were humiliated on National TV in handcuffs before being sentenced to 15 years each in Jail, the fight against electoral fraud will take a big step in passing the message across. |
