Politics › Re: Babatunde Fashola And Donald Duke For President by ba7man(m): 2:45pm On Dec 11, 2013
Black Pen15: Everything Fashola achieved, he learnt from Donald Duke...A student cannot lead the teacher.
You're so right.

Donald Duke was able to reclaim the Ocean and is currently building a city on it.

Donald Duke also built an elevated rail system.

Donald duke expanded 4 lane expressways to 10 lanes.

Donald duke showed Fashola how to clear out Oshodi.

Donald duke taught Fashola how to involve the private sector in clearing garbage from the streets of Lagos.

He taught Fashola how to introduce ferries as a form of transport and to introduce the BRT system.

He taught Fashola how to set up various agencies that provide employment and tackle the various State issues.

kettykin: yorubas will wait for the next 40 years for their turn to come again
Are you now God that can see d future??

Don't let Yoruba issues give you a heart attack.......you're forever planning the downfall of Lagos and southwest.
Autos › Re: 2014 Range Rover Sport (diesel engine): 21m. by ba7man(m): 2:00pm On Dec 11, 2013
all4naija: Brand new 2014 Range Rover Sport cost $63,495 that is =N= 10,067132.25(=N=10.1m) and the seller on this site says =N= 23.3 m. That is big rip off! Jeez! I would rather spend that money on something better.
I have been waiting for someone to come up with this exact point. You just quoted the V6 The V8 should be closer to 15million brand new.

Add the shipping and clearing cost, then the dealer's profit and we'll arrive at the target cost.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by ba7man(m): 12:33pm On Dec 11, 2013
captainbaroni: Don't mind them. I sence foul play in this. APC should be very careful. Beware of Rats.
Open your eyes. This one is beyond APC ooo.

Rotimi Amaechi, Tambuwal, O.B.J, Lamido Sanusi, The 5 Governors that defected, the remaining 2 still aggreived.......This is without mentioning APC core Politicians.

Anti-G.E.J sentiment is gathering momentum, he had better nip it before it ends the Abacha or alleged Yaradua way.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by ba7man(m): 12:15pm On Dec 11, 2013
G.E.J had better be careful with the number of enemies he now has.

He seems to attract a lot of animosity towards himself. His allies reduce daily........and they're all singing the same tune.
Politics › Re: 19,000 Benefit From SURE-P In South-west by ba7man(m): 10:07am On Dec 11, 2013
So is this the reason why they increased fuel prices by over 50 percent??
Politics › Re: Jonathan Encourages Corruption In Nigeria - Tambuwal by ba7man(m): 9:51am On Dec 10, 2013
Now this is the reason people dislike G.E.J.

Not because he's from a minority tribe or a PDP member............but because he encourages corrupt practices with his actions and inactions.
Politics › Re: APC E-warriors And Their Satanic Lies: Okupe Did Not Call GEJ The Mandela Of Nig by ba7man(m): 5:48am On Dec 10, 2013
We know how people in power can be such blatant liars. This is Nigeria, why act as if they've been such honest saints all their lives. I don't believe Doyin Okupe.

Why can't AIT simply do a repeat broadcast to clear the air??.....Wait, they'll simply edit that part out.
Food › Re: FG Bans Fish Importation by ba7man(m): 12:54pm On Dec 09, 2013
ilugunboy: Presently....a 20k bag of the local Croaker fish sells close to 25k while a 25k of the imported carton goes for around 11.5k

By the time they completely ban fish...a bag of croaker of 20k will go for close to 40k.

They are killing the poor people gradually....

We simply lack the capacity at present to meet the tonnage demanded annually.
I don't know why all of G.E.J's policies are designed to make things more expensive.

Fuel is now expensive without a clear cut benefit.............Cars will soon become expensive........I'll be honest but these are the two areas that his policies have affected me. There's still no improvement in light for me to give him the benefit of doubt.
Food › Re: FG Bans Fish Importation by ba7man(m): 12:50pm On Dec 09, 2013
I wish they would first of all reduce or ban fuel importation.
Politics › Re: Presidency Gets Crisis Control Room by ba7man(m): 8:45am On Dec 09, 2013
Whatever happens, they should never let Doyin Okupe and Ruben Abati in the situation Room.

They might end up escalating the crisis with their utterances.
Politics › Re: Gov. Fashola Inspect New Dalian Locomotive Trains For Lagos (Photos) by ba7man(m): 8:40am On Dec 09, 2013
Omexonomy: you never see anything these APC e-rats are becoming something else.
Abeg, admire the trains and don't stray off topic.

This is a first in Nigeria and probably west Africa.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are currently on vacation in Stromboli, Italy. While they hung out with Blue Ivy on a yatch, they decided to take a swim.

Little did they realize that that split moment before Jay-Z hit the water would be captured by a paparazzi and result in a hilarious online trend.

Enjoy some of the memes created with Jay-Z's diving image.

The first image started it all.....

Politics › Re: Importers Urge FG To Make Onitsha Port Cargo Destination by ba7man(m): 8:20pm On Dec 07, 2013
The pics of the Onitsha River port i saw doesn't look like that of a port designed to handle much cargo. Even the cranes are skinny.

Its left for private operators to work in tandem with the Port-Harcourt Port to further transport Containers up-river..........Or better yet, just build a Railway.

Cheers.
Politics › Re: Why MMIA Terminal Roof "Leaks" by ba7man(m): 4:36pm On Dec 07, 2013
awodman: U didn't read through this article...no point arguing..its Obvious
I read the highlighted parts and it provides adequate reasons on why the roof appeared to leak.

My annoyance is directed at how the Authorities have for so long allowed this state of decay take over that Airport.
Politics › Re: Why MMIA Terminal Roof "Leaks" by ba7man(m): 9:00am On Dec 07, 2013
Its until heads start rolling for such gross incompetence that i believe people in positions of responsibility will sit up.

And I'm certain they generate adequate income from that Airport and they allocate money for its maintainance but it will be "sat upon" by one "Oga at the top".
Politics › Re: GEJ- Nissan To Build Cars In Nigeria by ba7man(m): 8:38am On Dec 07, 2013
EzeCanada: These set of individuals need to die and rot away for an Imaginary Country like Nigeria to make progress.

So the Federal Government of Nigeria is all of a sudden irrelevant or non-existent because a South Southerner is the President? Where is thy conscience?

This is first class hatred, tribalism and nepotism made from hell. What a nincompoop!!!
Nahh........The Federal Govt has always being irrelevant in Lagos, South West and Nigeria in the past. That's why the whole Lagos State and the Nation looks like one big sh*t hole.

@Topic. Our very own "Otuoke Mandela" plans on saving money by discouraging used cars and making it harder for the average Nigerian to own a car................Meanwhile he hasn't thot of saving money by reducing oil theft.

What's the guarantee the money saved won't be mismanaged again like the fuel subsidy money?

www.nairaland.com/1544984/why-mmia-terminal-roof-leaks
Spot on. I witnessed all the negatives you highlighted today.

At least I'm glad they're already doing something about it. Its highly required.
Politics › Re: Mark Tasks Oduah To Tackle Rots In Aviation Sector by ba7man(m): 9:39pm On Dec 06, 2013
PointB: Who are those complaining of heat at MMIA? Are you not same people who complain that the remodeling and renovations are not the priority? Why complain now? I believe the minister should spend more time and resources improving 'aviation safety' in MMIA. The cooling system is not as important as safety. There are other airports needing attention by the way.
I believe this is the most economically important Airport in Nigeria. It should have been top of the priority list. Forget Abuja Airport, this is the busiest Airport in Nigeria. If you're going to create the impression of change in Aviation, this is where you start..........not some local Airport that barely handles a few thousand passangers a month.
Politics › Re: President Jonathan Is Our Mandela ~ Doyin Okupe (on AIT) December 6, 2013 by ba7man(m): 9:29pm On Dec 06, 2013
So this means its safe to call Jonathan "Otuoke Mandela"............Since his wife is already "Okrika Jesus".
Politics › Re: In Nigeria, who Has Been Our Nelson Mandela? by ba7man(m): 9:25pm On Dec 06, 2013
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan A.K.A (Otuoke Mandela) and his wife Dame Patience Faka Jonathan A.K.A (Okrika Jesus).
Politics › Re: Mark Tasks Oduah To Tackle Rots In Aviation Sector by ba7man(m): 7:49pm On Dec 06, 2013
gratieao: So na for MMIA you de sh*t now?
The busiest Airport in Nigeria needs serious overhauling.

The glass curtain walls are so old, they're discoloured and faded.

There's so much heat in the departure hall.

A foreigner's first impression of this nation will probably start from there. Not a good one i tell you..........And that's before you hit the dark and dreary Airport Road that's bordered by overgrown grass..
Politics › Re: Mark Tasks Oduah To Tackle Rots In Aviation Sector by ba7man(m): 7:28pm On Dec 06, 2013
Why not provide us with pictures? Picture they say speaks more than a 1000 words
It can't be seen, it can only be felt.

The heat in that Departure Hall is something else. Its so shameful.

I'm currently at MMIA. I SMH for what I'm seeing here.
