Domain Master: This is not the type for Man United fans jubilation, you need to climb the 4th, 3rd, 2nd, position before jubilation.Story
|

This report can't be true. The Ghanians are still learners compared to Nigerians concerning Corruption. We should stop consolling ourselves with these kinds of report. |
chukwudi44: Presidential indeed!! When he becomes president he will start deporting fellow Nigerians in the middle of the night.A very elitist and inhuman fellow!! Let him dare the military boyz and see what comes out of itYou've been so opressed all your life you don't even know what's right any longer. Are the Millitary supposed to disregard traffic rules in the first place?? |
Rossikk: Spare me that trash. Where has ''the FG'' ever spent such an amount on something as frivolous as a gate? EVER??Are you a Nigerian at all?? After all the Billions of dollars stolen from this country through dubious projects and deals by the FG, you now act as if they've not shared larger amounts amongst themselves for the fun of it. you don't act as if you've been following the past events in this Country, the way your beloved FG has been looting unchecked. Our very own World famous FG that is synonymous with embezzlement and corruption. I suspect you either live outside the country, or in Abuja. Don't go and talk like this in public, they might end up lynching you. |
awodman: I listened to the such clarification when the SA media to the FCT minister appeared on Raypower's Political platform..like you said its not just a gate but includes hotels, shopping malls e.t.c and it is the private sector that is bringing the cash..You really can't blame people for the pent up anger towards the FG. You and i are aware of past deeds they've carried out involving similar or larger amounts. We know how wasteful the FG can be so when we here this one, it appears like the regular mismanagement we're used to hearing about. That perception can't vanish in just a few years. |
Gateway to the most corrupt City in the World??........Of course its supposed to be costly. Anyway, this is a classic case of misplaced priorities. |
awodman: The team also inspected the following projectsMaybe i jumped to conclusion too quickly b'cos I was expecting pics. At least, it good that most Governors have been busy. |
One building, one interior, one stadium, one waterwork, 3 silos, one road and dregging of a river and some people are already falling over themselves excitedly. Mediocrity is seriously engrained in some people's DNA. |
DerideGull: The use of Waltersmith as a front is a such deceitful mechanism setup by British and goons from northern region of Nigeria to perpetually suck Ndigbo dry and dead. This is one thing Yoruba people will not allow in Yoruba land where two goons in Mallam Abdulrazaq Isa and Mallam Danjuma Salah from northern region of Nigeria parading as CEO and Vice-Chairman of Crude oil company, Waltersmith, sucking Alaigbo to death. No Nation can prosper if they had the same mentality you're displaying above. Who told you the Yorubas will not allow others come set up in the South west? I'm sure you know a lot of external companies and investments currently in the South-west. I hope you know Alaigbo money alone can't lead your region to greatness, same way Youruba money can't lead the SW to greatness. You will always need external investors, the least your leaders can do is ensure their people get a fair deal. No one can exploit you without your permission. If the Saudi-Arabians and Chinese were thinking like you, they wouldn't have invested their money in the American Economy......and the Americans wouldn't have moved their Company operations to China. |
nagoma: You are talking as if the tiny enclave of SE has any land at all. The whole of five SE state cover only 291000 sq km which is about 3% of the size of Nigeria ( size of just 2 or 3 LGAs in other parts of the country) and most of the land is taken over by gulley erosion while the little left cannot support agriculture due to severe soil leaching. That is why you kill your uncles every now and then to claim tiny patches of land.Dude, your brothers you're fighting for are living primitive lives in 2013. The South has tolerated their violent behaviours for so long but enough is enough. Lagos has banned them, Ogun is next, they can't escape being pushed back by civillization. If they don't embrace progress, they'll be left behind..... imagine, being cattle rearing illiterates in the year 2013. How backward can one get?? |
I believe the @op means "Anambra Palmoil". |
You're more likely to find up to fifty dead bodies floating together in the rivers of the South-East. #GBAM#. |
AnodaIT: GEJ has done it in PowerWhy does this post look like an Advertorial that has been paid for ![]() |
Slizbeat: Sorry sir but he cannot. It will only increase the amount taxpayers will be paying and also the debt and borrowing of the state for the course of Maintenance. Enugu's national debt is not much and so.the state will be able to maintain the.stadium. Lagos has enough projects at hand already and are not yet completed. Any other responsibility to the state is only but a wicked act to the state government. Eko Atlantic city and Lagos light rail are not yet completed amongst other projects.Trust LASG to come up with an ingeneous way to turn the Stadium into a source of revenue that will not only pay for its own maintainance but also benefit the LASG and private investors. |
barcanista: Are you okay? You expect Okrikans to stone Amaechi the incumbent Governor? That would have been embarrassment to Her Excellency The First Lady Dame (Dr) Patience Jonathan.LAST BULLET ko.....LAST SUPPER ni......copy. Copy........You for talk "LAST BORN" or "LAST BOYSCOUT".......Least i forget...."LAST BUSTOP"!!! |
I think this Country needs to go back to practicing regional Governments so that they can elect G.E.J and his cohorts to rule over them in the East/S.S........ |
taharqa: U dey mind dem....You are here chasing bush rat when your thread on the East-west road completion is being picked apart by correspondents on ground. |
eaglechild: Lagos is presently in facing a huge debt crisis, and the governor feels a multi billion naira airport project is the way forward.Lagos State alone is more economically viable than your region so your opinion on what the Governor thinks is irrelevant. Grass root projects like sharing Okadas, grinding machines and keke-Marwas and drilling boreholes abi?? Projects that make the whole state look like the World's biggest village. All these village town council advisors sef. You should be more concerned about the projects your Governors are executing than what Lagos is doing because the last time i checked, Lagos was growing faster economically and has more infrastructural projects that your entire region. Deal with that by voting in a Gov with a vision, not getting worked up by what goes on in another man's home. |
I never knew a single bridge could cause so much pain and heart-ache to some people.......hmmm, let me help them out.
Where we're they when the slum builders mobilized to site, built the slums and occupied it? Destruction of stalls is something I witnessed myself.
I'm sure you're feeling smug with the point you dropped up there but in all honesty, it bears no corellation to the main topic. You want to know where the LASG was when slums were being created?? I'll tell you. Slums came about as a result of massive immigration of people into Lagos during the 70's, 80's and 90's. The Millitary regimes were in charge back then and due to their irresponsible nature, they chose to ignore them. Tinubu became Governor and attempted to introduce some sanity (something the Millitary couldn't do) but he was being cautious not to cause an uproar since Lagosians were already used to living in such state of lawlessness and disorder. Fashola took over and went straight to work, not caring who's ox was gored. Now, I'm sure anyone will think twice before erecting a shanty which is a good thing. So where were they?? They were probably in secondary school...university while the Slums were being constructed. |
Why always Nigeria ![]() |
Instead of the FG to focus on constructing 2nd Niger Bridge........and even tolling it to generate mony (Taking the cue from LASG), they're playing stoopid politics. I'm sure all they want is a share in the toll collected and they'll start praising LASG. |
collynzo2: Yet another failure to meet set deadline by Fashola and APC. Lekki Airport is supposed to have commenced operation since last year.Shut up!!!.....Go back and look at the pics again......Have you seen anything like it in Nigeria b4?? Appreciate the initiative and stop looking for holes in it. You better pray your Governor comes up with an initiative like this and delays it completion, rather than buying Keke-Marwa for your people. |
See the @OP's daft means of judging a man's popularity. |
