As a patriotic Nigerian, I have my president's pix.........Here it is.

That road is still on Nepa grid. That's why Lagos State is setting up IPP stations to power public infrastructure. Take your story to the new owners of NEPA. |
Crap, Ethiopians deserved a red card for the way they were kicking our boys around. The Penalty call was a 50-50 and the free-kick was soooo deserved. Being able to hold the ball is different from being able to score. |
@Rossike, I am glad that there are people like you who are interested in the true history of Africa. It is very worrisome to hear from africans that our history happened in the past and we should not dwell on it. History is never old but provides an insight into current happenings and how to shape future occurence. Pls continue to educate the ignorant ones. Thx
I once saw a guy shuffling along once. He was dirty, haggard and dusty. I was still staring listlessly at him till the man beside me leaned over and told me "That guy was one of the richest men in the hood in the 90's". He was even one of the first to own an S-class back then in the hood. Now according to logic, should he go around telling people he was once rich in the 90's?...........Or he should quietly work his way back to the riches he lost?? There's nothing @Rossike has written up there that i haven't read about in Pastor Mattew Ashimolowo's book "What is wrong in being Black"?. Rather than strutting around telling all and sundry that the cradle of civillization was once in Africa, I felt really bad, asking myself "what happened?? How did we get it wrong"? Well, the book explains how we lost it and how we can get it back. We should be reflecting not feeling smug. |
@Rossike. You keep dwelling in the past. This is no longer 1000bc, this is 2013ad. Right now, the mantle of civillization doesn't rest in our hands (Africa). In those glorious ancient days, they (The Whites) came to Africa to seek knowledge to develop their lands. Now, what stops us from seeking knowledge from them to develop our lands??.......Rather than flooding to theirs, a visit to open our minds would be a welcome development. We should stop living on past glory.....the post hurts but it should only spur us to improve ourselves. |
iterator25: no, you don't get itWe're saying the same thing. What's different?? They can adopt and modify your invention till it turns into something else. We need to start showing signs of this in Africa. |
iterator25: do you know china inspired many inventions? Go figureI get you, but they take your invention, Modify and improve on it till you can't recognize it again. We don't encourage that here. I watched a guy, way back on the Program "DRAGON'S DEN". A Conventry School of Automotive Design graduate. He merged a Rugged Motorcycle and a Plough to create a mini plough that can be affordable to the average farmer. I said to myself "That's a beautiful idea, the FG should be falling over themselves to support it". I haven't heard anything about it since then. |
ROSSIKE: Dunce, do you realise every nation on earth was once 'a big ghetto' or whatever illiterate term you use to describe developing nations? Do you know that Britain only a generation ago was synonymous with disease, filth and poverty? Ever read Charles Dickens? Every developed nation has a long history of underdevelopment. The developing nations of today will be the developed nations of tomorrow. You jobless illiterates drowning in inferiority complex need to go out and read up on things instead of embarrassing yourselves online with your ignorance and stup.dity.The phone you're using to type your write up was invented by a ...................., The internet you're using to communicate with me regardless of my location was invented by a ............................, Wristwatch on your arm was invented by a ........................, The toilet bowl in your home was invented by a........................or u still use a pit?? The car you drive around in was invented by a ........................, The plane you fly in was invented by a ........................ The blackman invented the broom, they took the concept and evolved it into roller brushes, later they realized that suction was more effective resulting in "The Vacum Cleaner". The Electronics you used to decorate your home was invented by a ................................ The language you're communicating with me right now is the ................................'S Language. The suit you wear to work is the .........................'S style of fashion. The trains GEJ is currently refurbishing to aid the economy was invented by the .................................. Look around you and count how many things was invented by a blackman.........I don't mean a copy of what the whites did. They're finalizing the space-program to send another probe to mars while we're still struggling to put a satelite in orbit...........some thing they've been doing since the 60's. Fill in the gaps yourself. Truth be told, they apply more effort and research in their pursuits than the average African man. Emulate the positives from them, leave out their negatives.............there's nothing wrong in someone being better than you, you can just keep improving yourself till you can beat them at their own game.................but for now, We put our heads down and improve ourselves...................not lie to ourselves. |
Cross River Niger and go where?? Oshogbo or Ibadam or abeokuta or ekti that were filled with red mud houses and poverty? ![]() As for lagos, it is the biggest slum out of Africa though a no man's land and not yorobar land.
Hey, I saw footages of different locations in Anambra yesterday on TV so i know it looks like any large, over-crowded sh*t-hole in Nigeria. Don't get carried away, Its no paradise. |
IAMBREEZY: The fact is that if they re really smartypants naija won't outsmart them when it comes to scamming, but seriously i don't know where they get their preposterous statistics from it baffles me a lot.Their economy keeps creating 100s of thousand jobs every month, they keep inventing new gadgets, improving existing ones ( I'm watching CNN business Traveller and they're talking about the newly invented "Google Glasses". ). ........while we defraud them due to our dishonest nature (And spend the money popping Champagne and buying used Range Rover Sports (their creation)) and you use that as a yard-stick of intelligence?? Why is our country like one big ghetto if we were so intelligent?? The more you think you know, the less you know. |
Pls, this insults against the igbos isn't necessary. They have a sensible portion of their population too (same with any tribe). We'll only end up attracting the hate of the sensible ones by generalizing opinions about a few. |
Especially people in the Political section that think being able to insult people is a sign of intelligence. I'll keep saying it that its a sign of low IQ and dysfunctional upbringing. As a whole, look at our environment in Nigeria and try to convince yourself that its a product of high level of intelligence. There are people with high IQ though but the Low IQ people work hard to drown their voices and efforts to convince themselves that they're the intelligent ones. |

mystical10: there is no APC youths in abia, ebonyi, enugu apart from imo if u dnt knw beside no igbo boy will collect such amountfor such a risky job. Igbo guys na big boys. They are too big for that. Poverty is too mch in yoruba land thats why they fall preI'm watching footages of Anambra on TV right now nd its not exactly pretty. |
Bed bugs can live for up to a year without eating so throwing your matress away won't help since they'll simply wait on the new one and move in.. They are also resistant to insecticide to an extent. They breed in matresses so if you don't want to throw it away, you could; (1) Get a hair dryer and use it especially on their breeding areas on the matress......in short, all over. (2) You can also wrap your matress up in a thick nylon cover using yellow tape (the type used to wrap goods meant for international cargo). This suffocates those bugs within to death and prevents those waiting in the wings to get in. (3) Also be very careful. They hide amongst clothings, trousers, belts, shoes, luggage, bags, books etc so you might unconciously be aiding their transfer. Iron your clothes and check them properly before leaving home. Goodluck. |
Afam4eva: This is a close to rational conclusion but i'm sure if it was PDP, we would have sentenced them to death before proving their innocence. As much as i believe people should take this story with a pinch of salt, i hate hypocrisy. Do unto others what you want them to do to you.Hmmmm.....If this news was PDP related...........You are right though. |
Arysexy: Bc that gives them a better assurance than using locals who myt vote another party on getting to d poll since their politcal inclination might be in doubt. From experience, its not adviceable to jump to conclusions too quickly in Nigeria. ( I'm sometimes guilty of that ). I'll go check out @Agbaworo's thread to see what they have to say. |
No not for farmlands, rather he wanted to use Africa for human hunting, like game reserve, where Africans would be shot at like the wild beast that they're. Imagine shooting down the paedophile called Ahmed Yerima
You dis guy sef......Na "Hunger Games" you for talk say dem go use us do.You get problem ooo..... |
Arysexy: Go back and read d news on d first page, the guy interviewd said they are from osun, they wia paid 10,000 naira each and promised more after d election. The really question is "why use Yoruba boys"?? They can easily be identified. They will have a hard time blending in. Communication will be a problem for them too. It doesn't add up........why not simply use Igbo boys from neigbouring states?? Its a smarter move and a no-brainer if you plan on rigging. |
To me, there are 2 kinds of Igbos; (1) The smart, hardworking ones that silently make their money, love to have a good time and just get on by with their lives regardless of their location or whatever tribe they deal with. ((I've got a lot of Lagos Igbo friends like that around me, will be hanging out to watch the match tomorrow with them sef). (2) The lousy, tribalistic bigots that are permanently angry and frustrated, always eager to pull down others to feel good..........and make silly statements like this one above. Sadly, its the no(2) that are most vocal at spreading their message thus giving the positive ones a bad name. Learn to identify them. There are still a lot of Good people amongst them. We should never generalize. |
Adolph Hitler actually had plans for Africa. The Continent was supposed to be used as farmlands to provide the Reich with food with Africans as farm workers. |
Sheeple: You want to get crucified and flogged with thorns, don't you?Oga Sheeple, I left you an extra message above. You should check it out. ![]() |
Sheeple: To school an uppity unintelligent doofus like you. It's better to break you down mentally and induce some low self-esteem and insecurity into your psyche, before re-educating your empty brain cells.Hmmmm, more insults. I wonder who you take after with dat?? Your mum or your dad?? Like........you gotta take after someone ![]() "break you down" ko......"Break dance" ni..... I studied psychology for a while before switching.......Let me Psychoanalyze you. "People with a low self esteem often use an agressive stance laced with insults to try to convince people that they are tough (especially online), meanwhile they're nothing but kittens inside". I can read you like a book. You're a reflection of your comments. |
Sheeple: You keep getting dumber with every comment.Don't burst a blood vessel b'cos I'll be posting more "Stupid comments". ![]() ![]() |
Sheeple: Perhaps, if you had use your morbidly fat head, with excess brain fat and fart, you would understand that the fighting is just part of the syndrome of forced integration. So yours is now the intelligent one?? FYI being able to throw insults at will is not a sign of intelligence. |
Sheeple: Dude, shut up. How about travel out of Nigeria for once in your pathetic life? How's the world becoming integrated, when Belgium is becoming more divided than ever, Spain is still divided, Scotland is about to leave the UK, South Sudan just got released from the claws of Sudan by America and Israel? The West is pushing for the independence of Tibet? Taiwan still doesn't want to be part of China? etc..So you encourage and support all this fighting?? What is wrong is wrong!!!.....Simplify your life. The EU is made up of what?? Did i hit a nerve with my statement?? |
While the World is becoming integrated to effect growth of their Nations, Nigerians are fighting in their ghettos over what not.............. Nigg@z are truely St0000pid...... ![]() . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . But that doesn't change the fact that those statements made at the rally were ridiculous. |
Yoruba boys going all the way to Anambra to rig an election??.......Doesn't add up. If Ngige really wanted to rig, why didn't he use Igbo boys that can easily blend in unlike yoruba boys that will stick out like sore thumbs in the east and won't even be able to communicate or find their way around without guidiance. If distance was the issue, why didn't he use Edo boys since Edo is an APC state?? This reeks of a desperate political set up to smear Ngige using Osun State to hammer the fact that APC is a Yoruba party. I won't be surprised if the boys were even mobilized by the perpetrators while under disguise as APC agents. This is a new Low in Political Strategy. |
