ROSSIKE: A change in the economy? Dude, the economy HAS CHANGED and IS CHANGING. If you set up any type of firm that services the expanding middle class, you will make a killing. I know someone in Enugu who was looking for paid employment for 3 years to no effect. He then got a loan of 100k from a friend and set up a tiling company. He took photos of different tiling designs, and started taking them round to rich homes to advertise. He started getting jobs. Two years later, he's built two mansions from that business, and is a very big boy in town today, with all sorts of contracts including commercial and govt contracts. Just tiling.

You see, this is a person who has used his brain and creativity and is contributing to society and to himself. The jobless, useless, thick-skulled ones are the ones fighting for disintegration of the country and war.

I'm with you on this one. I see young boys nd girls now, into photography, fashion, making shoes, belts, baking confectioneries and cakes, and they are making money from it.

Sometimes i envy their drive but they're getting smarter and investment savvy at younger ages now.

G.E.J is not a good Politician. He just sat back and watched PDP break into factions. Being a good leader means being able to carry along followers of different dispositions.

He should never have allowed it come to this. O.B.J obviously read the book "The 48 Laws of power" and i could see him apply different laws to different situations.

In this situation, he would have either tried to make peace with them or whip them in line with a threat. Most of the times, he had the "aces", the "bargaining chip" to ensure he was always on top. He almost took it too far with his 3rd term bid.

G.E.J lacks this knowledge of dealing with percieved threats. The best he can do now is fall back on improving his performance because he's not exactly likeable at first glance or charismatic enough to automatically command a nationwide followership.

Afam4eva: The truth is, these are the people who made me averse to APC. I used to be a supporter of Alliance for Democracy(AD) and when it metamorphosed to AC but when i started following the comments of their supporters on Nairaland, the hate just set in and i'm even more relaxed with the PDP that i used to hate with a passion. A party is only as good as the people they send out to relate with people.
