Let me differentiate between an American low cost project and this one for you all. You see that Okija juju's pixs?? An American low cost project block can house more than 50 apartments per block with its inhabitants living in close proximity to each other thus leading to over-crowding and resulting in a crime infested environment but this LASG's housing contains 6-8 apartments per block so conjestion and over-crowding is avoided. I know this b'cos i'm an Architect. They teach this in Architectural Psychology courses. |
Has that dummy launched the bomb yet?? I guess not. Hey, do you know USA's millitary budget is almost $700 Billion, China's $150 Billion, Russia's 65 Billion, South Korea's 30 Billion and North Korea's $6 Billion?? Do the math and find out who has the more sophisticated weapons. North Korea's 1 million plus army will only serve as target practice. Nigeria's a little over $1 Billion so that means we Nigeria no lost near North Korea sef. |
That North Korean boy will be a noise making fool if that missile doesn't hit a South Korean, Japanese or American target. After making so much noise, finally. I'm waiting to hear "BOOM!!!" on CNN. |
There's no Government that has fulfilled 100 percent of its campaign promises but power is the main priority in this country so resolving it should be something you don't play around it. |
Sincere 9gerian: Another FOOL dancing naked in public. What is the meaning of the statement below:The inability of the Lagos state Government to construct the 4th Mainland Bridge doesn't stop GEJ from providing stable power supply. There's still no light. Pls, pass the message to him that the whole of Nigeria is still waiting. |
Nigeria still on course......All the naysayers, keep watching. |
Hey, lovely pics....But where are the chics in the bikinis?? Fashola might ask them to pay their Body Exposure Tax so they stayed away i guess. The crowd is sooo huge, where was i on this day?? |
rokee: Reporting live from Malabo,Equatorial guinea.the country is an emerging economy filled with opportunities and potentials. If it keeps growing at this rate,it will compete with the finest countries in 15years time. You'd better keep quiet. Unless you want us Nigerians to flood you country in no time. Damn!! Too late, some just bought plane tickets. Wouldn't mind helping out in your construction industry in the near future. |
ArQueBusieR: Abi o. The fat one won't stop blabbing. He's starting to annoy me. "We will crush America". "Our nuclear warheads will vapourize Obama". "The mere stench of our collective farts will wipe America off the face of the earth". People wey never chop won fight war. SMHHehehehehe....Him tink say na video game. He might fire a missile soon though but all na Missile test, Shakara. |
Do you guys know that Malaria kills more people every year than HIV?? |
Abeg, stop posting that North Korean noise maker's threats again. Come back when he actually fires a missile. |
Sincere 9gerian: Mr "know all" indeed. I never claim to "know all". I have been corrected a number of times on this forum and I ALWAYS reply to appreciate such corrections or extra information as the case maybe.Everything around you wherever you are is born of someone's IDEA so never downplay its importance. I don't know if you've heard the saying "Ideas rule the World".....I'll add "When acted upon" to it. Proving the think-tank of the project is the most important factor rather than who provided the funding. Major Companies pay people to "think". I will stand on CNN and give credit to the originator of a good idea any day because they are visionaries. I live in Lagos and I'm surrounded by ACN so pardon my political preference. The PDP you represent have little or no presence here so we naturally don't share the same views as you. |
You are simply giving him too much credit. The charlatan knows absolutely nothing tangible. A total 'airhead'. Even propaganda and sycophancy he fails at woefully.
To himself, he appears always right.I never meant "He's always right". Its a function of his mindset and not reality. I think its best he's left in the World he's created in his mind. |
Sincere 9gerian: I thought you tried to play an apolitical neutral sensible figure previously. But now desperation has made you come out full fledged to show your true colours as another ACN internet rat. Keep fooling yourself having silly debates about origin of some ideas. You'll soon get an award for that. Some fools are just irredemableMy reaction is a reflection of your projected image. Do you think i would react that way if you hadn't added the word "Fools"?....... Mr know all, you better do some soul searching. Its not by being head-strong online that determines your morality. It seems you think you're always right. Kneel to learn and stop walking around with that false sense of knowledge you think you have. I thought you were here to provide us with insight on the GEJ administration but you're just here on an Ego trip to prove that you're always right.....Keep deceiving yourself. BTW, you know nothing of being a politically neutral figure so all your posts tend to tilt in one direction which confirms it. I can't reason with you. |
awodman: This is the real ba7man commenting...bros many more will even take place.let's pray for the success of the power sector reformsAmen to that. If GEJ can resolve the power sector, the songs this nation will sing will certainly be different. |
Despite the negative situation in some parts of the Country, Nigeria is still on course to cementing its position as a World class economy. Nice one there. |
Hmmm....@Eko ile. This your thread is dried firewood and these excerpts from Sam Omatseye is petrol. Are you planning to start a fire?? |
I'd hate to sound tribalistic but why are these visionless critics only from one part of the Country?? From the moment they post, i automotically know where they're from and i'm always right. Am i psychic or its a trend amongst them?? |
Sincere 9gerian: After their initial attempt to claim whole sale credit for the project was ABORTED with FACTS, the ACN internet kids have fallen back to talking about "ideas". Incredible! What has played out on this thread is the MOST SILLY debate I'v ever witnessed since joining NL. But trust the insecure and attention seeking ACN internet kids. What wont these insecure ACN internet rats drag? From debating origin of project "ideas", they'll soon degenerate to debating who fouled the air at project site. Fools!I expected you to understand the concept that the said project under construction is as a result of the "idea" generated by the LASG and not your FG but it seems you're too daft to get that. You're simply an unexposed slowpoke that celebrates the crumbs he receives like a well trained dog. |
I'll give this one to GEJ. He's actually working on inter-state roads except Lagos-Ibadan express. But just roads alone aint going to make me a beliver. |
mrjingles: The arguments on this thread are so childish- na FG, no na LASG, bla bla bla. weda goat tie rope or rope tie goat the main thing na mek the goat no run. weda lasg fg lg or pope pius the last all we want is progress, propserity has no political or religious or tribal preferences, if u do the right thing it will come to you.The moral of the story here is "Develop your own ideas, act on it and always make it clear to people that you're the driving force behind it"....For future refrence and to prevent its credit from being hijacked. |
solomon111: Propaganda! What will you say about Bayelsa and Delta??....BTW Define "Propaganda". With the way you've been using that word, it seems you just heard it first on NL. |
If this is the port the FG constructed in Onitsha, they should be protesting against the FG and not celebrating.....Frankly, is this what they think they deserve in the SE region that relies heavily on commerce?? that port is crap.....Real crap. How can you accept that and celebrate it We shouldn't let mediocrity limit our judgements.
|
Eko Ile: 100% Federal government Canoe port..That's basically a warehouse and an extensive jetty. That is what some people celebrate as a port. Enlightened people will keep laughing at us if we're celebrating that in 2013 as an acheivement. I know private individuals that can single handedly fund this project. Poor showing from the Federal Govt considering the resources they have at their disposal. |
Katsumoto: How long does it take to brainstorm an idea? PDP has been brainstorming since when? 1999, 2007, 2010. So if a president has a 4 year term, at what point will the ideas become real? The points of my post are:See how the points were logically laid out. |
Look, stop wasting your time with that charlatan. He is the same fool who confesses to living in Enugu while unhealthily obsessing about the affairs of Lagos State. We all know why he does that. He is petrified of everyone he considers a threat to his mediocre GEJ. The Lekki Sea port was primarily and ambitiously conceived to strengthen the LFTZ i.e Lagos free trade zone. Of course Lagos must seek and gain the approval of the FG for a port that will be used for international haulage. As such, the FG must play a supervisory role. Never argue with m0r0ns who are only obsessed with image-laundering for the personification of mediocrity they support. You will have m0r0ns showing up to insinuate this is all talk. I would advise you to ignore those people because they have issues they are not willing to address. Anyone can see a full presentation about the Lekki sea port, to include work done already, below. http://www.scribd.com/doc/9596528/Port-Lekki-Master-Presentation
Thanks for the clarification. I belive they have FG projects to be more concerned about. |
manny4life: An idea is only as good on paper, it becomes reality only when funded. Millions of people have ideas, until an investor takes an interest in it, you will be born with ideas and die with ideas. Investors are the most IMPORTANT in execution, heck, investors can hire people to bring out ideas, so whether the idea was LASG or FG or whoever, it's irrelevant. Bottom line is that the collaboration will yield results that will benefit the people.I totally agree with you but and idea remains one until it is acted upon with conviction. That's what attracts the funding. The LASG spearheaded it so I'll give the kudos to them. Good to see the FG contributing into it but that's not enough reason for some to start clinking champagne glasses. |
Sincere 9gerian: Thank you jare for once again DESTROYING the propaganda of these anonymous ACN internet rats and cockroaches. These days, their silly propaganda are DEAD ON ARRIVAL.You call that "DESTROYING" That's weak. I come up with an idea nd I provide 20 percent funding, sell it to potential investors and they provide 60 percent. You now finally provide 20 percent and you both want to start celebrating that as if its your idea or you provided 60 percent. Keep tickling each other's balls. |
Sincere 9gerian: Exactly. So much resources. What has Fashola done with the so much resources available to him in the last 6yrs? Where is the completed Lagos intra city railway? Where is the 4th mainland bridge? Where is the proposed 2nd international Airport? Where are the social welfare schemes, etc Its not enough for the governor to be commissioning drainages, street lights, primary health care centers, 0.5km roads, etc with N30billion monthly revenue.Makes me also wonder what GEJ does with his own share of the trillions of Naira this country generates apart from feeding his over-bloated cabinet he refuses to trim down, reviving the raggedy looking trains and outdated rail lines (Those trains pass me and i stare in shock-horror at how terrible and over-crowded they are and the number of train surfers on them...what @Sincere Nigerian is applauding), , billions on epileptic power supply, paying off criminals and killers and before i forget....tarring roads. |
taharqa: LOL... Are u aware that Lagos State is also contributing 20%, same as d FG? If d FG's 20% is negligible (according to you), SURELY that of Lagos State Govt is also negligible, No??.... And who the helll told you that d FG wud hv 'no mental or skill input in d project'? Are u peeps too bleeping Sillly to bliv yr own PROPAGANDA for God's sake!! Yes, d Private investors are expectd to be d Main drivers of d Project, but everytin wud be unda d Supervisn of d NPA, which is a FG Agency.... Lagos State is playing a VERY CRUCIAL role in d conceptn and implementatn of d project, YES; but to attempt to minimize Or even hide (as sm of u were trying to do earlier) d FG's contributn is DUMB... Dont hv time for dis any longaI have read about this project, I have two international documentaries on it on my laptop and no where was the FG mentioned. They have no mental input in it. Lagos State Government conceived it and provided 20 percent of its funding, sourced for private investors to contribute 60 percent and FG provided the final 20 percent. The FG's mental capacity can't handle it or else, projects like this would have been replicated around the country....Also, the drivers of the project isn't the international investors, the LASG is. |
That is a Honda Crosstour not a Porshe Panamera. We need to learn to give accurate information. |
