taharqa: LOL.... I thought you people were contesting what I postd initiali.... ACN Goons Almost Always in d Habit of HIJACKING everytin to yaselves..... Make Good Governance Tour fast reach Lasgidi and d entire SW. MANY PEOPLE EYES GO OPENThat FG's 20 percent contribution is negligible and they have no mental or skill input in the project. That's my point. |
Using Lagos State as an example, see the number of projects being crammed in that tiny state that is sure to raise it income generating potentials and economic status worldwide. The FG have the resources to replicate similar and better world-class projects on a Nationwide scale by patnering with State Govts. Tarring roads is good but there is so much more to be done for me to start jumping with excitement and joy. I'd advice you to raise your standards so that peanuts won't impress you. |
Sincere 9gerian: Which stunts would you "buy" then? Buhari anti-corruption stunt? Or Fashola ongoing project inspection stunt. Yeye! Those stunts normally come with pictures and the press is always available.."Word of mouth" isn't always reliable and its susceptable to being effected to suit the person reporting it. |
Lagos-Ibadan Express road!!!....Didn't they show it on the program?? We all know AIT is the FG's mouth-piece. Hey, no beefs. I know all our past presidents have not exactly being the smartest or straight forward men of integrity but that won't make me lower my standards on what i think good governance is about. Is this the best you expect from the leader of an oil producing nation with so much resources?? |
All talk, no action. I was shaken at first but i got tired of hearing NK threats. Now its either he starts launching missiles or he shuts up. Talk time is over, he should put his missiles where his mouth is. |
I won't DIE for Nigeria.....but i can KILL for Nigeria. |
taharqa: Just wantd to RE-EMPHACIZE this. The Project is 20% FG, 20% Lagos State and 60% Local Investors, and d port itself wud be unda d Supervisn of NPA and the whole free trade zone unda d Supervisn of NEFTA- both Federal Agencies. The Contract for dis was signd on d 15th December, 2012 or so..... I am earnestly waiting for d Good Governance Tour Team in Lagos and d SW; many people eyes go openGuy, go siddon jooor. Speaking English and feeling "cool" as if its GEJ's administration that came up with the idea or is responsible for spear-heading it. They are providing 20 percent of the funding and no mental input in the execution of the project....their agencies are only coming in at the end to supervise projects they have no idea on its purpose or how it came to be (Except the briefing they were giving from the top). The arrangement is this way so that Lagos won't be labelled a Rouge state by the FG. Woe betide those agencies if they think they can come in and run it as they did Tin-can Island port. You only need to visit Apapa port to see the difference between a FG run port and a sane port. Those FG agencies. That you're proudly listing are and still the symbol of corruption and decay in this Country. |
ochukoccna: VISION IN ACTION is what strikes one's mind by the article aboveAs per the "Have nots". Majority of them own land in that axis since that's one of the few areas you can get affordable Land in Lagos. They are the ones that will benefit from that road project. |
koruji: Look at it this way.You and fkaz have hit the heart of the matter. Boko Haram receive amnesty and its perks in the North, Niger Delta millitants receive their own amnesty package in the South and OPC is passified with this contract to balance it out. Probable groups that can decide to threaten his 2015 ambition with violence.....Paid off. Question is, do you solve problems by tackling its root cause or throwing money at its perpetrators?? |
berem:Once that Express road comes to your hood, you'll be a multi-millionare. |
Sincere 9gerian: Na lie. You have sympathy for ACN. I know you in and out. QEDI'm a Fan of Fashola, Oshiomole, Akpabio (though the excess allocation seems to be getting into his head of late). I don't really care about the other ACN Governors or Tinubu (Too power hungry IMO). I have sympathy for Governors making a difference, not PDP or ACN. |
Sincere 9gerian: OBJ increased fuel price about six times or more and at no time did we see the magnitude of protest we saw in Lagos in 2011. The social media may have played a role but much bigger was the role played by partisan and ethnic sentiments. After all, its not only those in Lagos that have access to the social media.I don't support OBJ increasing the fuel prices but notice how he did it. Jacking up the price in tiny leaps so people didn't feel the pressure....till it was too late. It still gave them time to adjust. But GEJ just increased his by 100 percent in a day like he's insensitve. It was too sudden, That wasn't smart at all. |
Sincere 9gerian: You said you dont have electricity now. Does it mean if another person was the president, you would have had constant electricity by now? I dont get it.For the better part of my life, I've been saddled with Leaders that struggle to provide simple 24 hrs of Electricity. In the year 2013, when other Countries are taking Giant leaps in progress, a President that "STILL" can't provide 24 hrs of Electricity is the last thing i wish to be stuck with. As i type this, there's still no light so forgive me if I'm not impressed by all the activities in the power sector........Because I'm not feeling it down here. BTW, a larger percentage of those battles he agressively fought are political and he did it to ensure he holds on to power or against political enemies. Granting amnesty and pardon to Criminals and Killers is not strength. |
pleep: 19Ok, I understand your point now. |
pleep: The only non-smart person here is you..How old are you?? |
Sleeping with a 15 year old??....*NOT A WISE MOVE*. Opening thread to let the World know??......*PLAIN DAFT!!* Planning to sue her??.....*PROBABLY ONE OF THE DAFTEST MOVES OF THE CENTURY*. @ OP. You better shut-up, go hide yourself and pray this case doesn't come out in the open. |
pleep: yea but whats the big deal with talking about it? i have friends that only talk about how many girls they getIMO, I prefer silence. That way, nosy guys won't start spreading stories that will eventually "pour sand in my garri" and make me look like a teenager that's just started having sex. Are you bagging chicks for them?? Do you need their approval to feel good about yourself?? I do it for me and those silent glances between me nd her, knowing what just went down between us that no one knows.....it gets my blood rushing....Not sitting on a beer bottle filled table sharing it with men to feel good. That's just me though. |
@ OP. Also realize that some of people you're talking to are paid to make his administration look good on this forum while some are paid opposition. This is the situation this country has desended to. They see your topic as the perfect opportunity to work for their money. Think for yourself.....As for me, I've read too many books on leadership.....and my President ain't one. Simple. |
I didn't vote for anyone during his elections but i was smart enough to know that We have no idea of this man's track record. I don't have patience for these kinds of leaders that keep promising and postponing the delivery date of their promises. We've been stuck with them since i was born and nothing's changed. To his supporters, if this is what you all refer to as "Positive Change" or "Fresh Air" as GEJ might call it.......Nigeria is in big trouble. I don't represent any party, I just want a change from the norm. |
I'm currently without electricity in my home....its past 3 in the morning, after President Jonathan's Govt has spent Billions of naira. I'm also still seething over the fact that he attempted to raise fuel prices by over 100 percent to fuel his corrupt Govt. Corruption is all around him and it seems he's comfortable with it or he lacks the balls to tackle it. He projects the image of a WEAK man and his actions don't inspire me. |
No one knows the truth behind Bayelsa State Govt being the owners of the Boko Haram hide-out in Lagos but if this happened in a Sane Country, The Bayelsa state Govt will be labeled as suspects and will currently be under investigation.......Its just common sense. Just to unravel the connection. |
@OP. Your question simplifies the whole situation. Sadly our Government would rather bribe their way out of a problem than solve it. At this rate, they've justified the creation of more killer groups that will use innocent lives to bargain for their share of the national cake. |
What is it with people that keep saying "I don't belive this story"?? Does that mean its impossible for it to happen?? Like there's no way a wife can cheat on her husband in this same kind of senario?? Like you've all never witnessed something similar or worse than this??....Pls, tell me. |
Truely, they have a right to be angry at the marginalization of the Niger Delta but they should realize that their own leaders are actually the ones responsible. MEND are very stooopid for these pointless attacks but never underestimate the power of stoopid people coming together to achieve a stoopid cause. |
How smart of MEND. Blow up a couple of oil installations so that the flames pollute their "OWN" air and result in more acid rain, more oil leaks into their "OWN" water poisoning the marine life there, the oil that seeps into their "OWN" soil poisons it so that no plant can grow, FG succumbs and doles out more money their way and everyone's happy. What a brilliant idea. |
pleep: Its two reasonsOn the other hand, sex has become so cheap and available since this past decade. Getting girls has never been easier since the creation of man. You'd be surprised the amount of ar$e some people reading this thread are getting daily but won't comment, they'll just laugh and exit. |
realist01: Yeah, ur very correct. U didnt come to twitter to rant instead u lived with ur experiences. Thumbs up mannAiii bro, but remember that no matter how good looking you are, Ballotelli, OBJ, Bance (The Burkina-faso footballer) and their likes will still get stared at more than you. You should be glad they aint staring at u b'cos you have a deformity or an embarassing disease....Now, it takes enough inner strength to stand that. |
realist01: No wait , do girls stare at u? If yes how do u tolerate it? Do u just ignore it ? See this is why i opened this tread so i understand other guys experiences. U misunderstood me i wasnt comparing myself to anyone i just wanted to know how to tolerate my experiences. Tell me about ur experiences pls, its not about me its just u all keep misunderstanding my points. Not fairYeah, they stare.... from ladies old enough to be my mother to young teenagers. I can choose to ignore, smile and move on, and if you're way older than i am, a simple polite greeting seems to knock them back to their senses (Don't forget to add "ma" to remind them that they're older). You've been goodlooking for a long time, you should be used to it by now. |
@ Op. In short, I challenge you. Upload your pix and I'll upload mine. I can bet with my balls that I'm far better looking than you are. Nonsense. |
realist01: Another girl. I didnt write an article like this on twitter so they were not biased they liked what they saw if you dont then i cant be bothered. My aim is to have a normal life, too many girls bother me already ur not welcome so goodbye.People no dey chop "fine boy", Get busy, affect lives positively and watch real people get attracted to you. Apart from being a "fine boy", what else is there to you?? Are u smart? Intelligent? Bizness savvy? Polite? Etc or you just sit your fine arsse down and ask around on Twitter on how good looking you are? You need to grow up and get a purpose for your life. I'm very handsome too (they mistaken me for a Fulani sometimes) but i learnt early in life that i cannot not feed my family with "fine boy". |
There's no way they can sucessfully chat without memories of the times they had together in the past creeping in. The day there's a problem in that relationship, she's running back to sex one of dem ex-boyfriends. No one is saying you should be enemies with your ex's but just distance yourself from them as a sign of respect for your relationship. |
