Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Find It Offensive When A Fellow Guy Said He Get Chicks Easily by ba7man(m): 5:01am On Apr 04, 2013
I think i prefer a guy that moves in silence. He gets all the girls but you'll never hear about it. Trust me, when you eventually discover it from a third party, you'll respect him.... Unlike the op that chooses to come to an online forum visited by millions to announce it. That's quite childish. To those getting mad at guys that get the chics...."Get money easily instead". Girls can smell it from a mile away.
Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Prefers Telling My Friend Her Problems. by ba7man(m): 4:07am On Apr 04, 2013
emmboy: I read all your response and the content noted. Just the night as I was coming with my same friend from somewhere, she called him again and told him she was at a place waiting for him. I never knew what she wanted to see him for so I dropped my friend off and made sure she saw me before I left. No sooner that I got home than she called me, I picked the call at once and told her to never call me again. I told her bluntly it was over between us and at first she told me is that what I wanna do to her, is that how I wanna pay her for all the suffering she suffered with me. (As if that was a good reason for her actions) then she started crying on phone begging me she couldn't do without me. Always disturbing my phone now and wouldn't let me rest but I think I've made myself clear to her cos its a big slap to my face.
At this stage, the power is back in your hands. She never would have called you the night you dropped your friend off if she had no idea you dropped him off. Go back to her and you'll lose the power. Better to walk away now.
Politics › Re: Breaking News: Six Suspected Terrorists Killed In JTF Raids In Kano by ba7man(m): 10:07pm On Apr 03, 2013
A lot of resources are being wasted on battling the Boko Haram foot soldiers. What proves the FG isn't serious in tackling their menace is how they handle the capture of their top members. They are always released under the guise of "escape". We aint fools, the FG definitely knows a whole lot more that they don't want us to.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Is China Better Than The West by ba7man(m): 9:29pm On Apr 03, 2013
I hate Chinese goods with all my heart. The rate at which they fall apart shows that they have low standards and integrity. Don't tell me they produce quality goods for themselves, look at their Automobile industry...You buy their cars at your own risk. Foreign companies may flood there due to lower labour cost but they also go there with their Company standards. All they do is copy technology and they aren't original in their ideas. They are slave drivers and are only sucessful because of the large population of cheap-skates that purchase their products. Down with China!!!!
Politics › Re: Presidency: It’s Ndigbo’s Turn - Anyaoku by ba7man(m): 7:01pm On Apr 03, 2013
Sometimes I just wish the backward set of Nigerians that belive in "Leadership by Zoning" should all fall down and die off leaving those who belive in "Leadership by merit" to thrive. Then, this nation can truely move ahead.

Family › Re: Left-handedness In Children; Can It Be Corrected? by ba7man(m): 9:18am On Apr 03, 2013
Why do you want it corrected?? Its from his brain's synapses so its best not to mess it up. I was born left handed but was forced to change, now i have scratchy hand writing( I write with my right) and i alway make a concious effort to pick and receive things with my right. Its distracting, even after 3 decades of living with it. You should be glad he was born with hands in the first place.

Life is not all about suffering and hardship. We should all learn to relax and have fun from time to time. Seems there's a lot of frustrated Nigerians around. Don't hate on people just b'cos they're haviing fun.
Politics › Re: If You Are In Gej's Shoe, How Would you Solve The Security Problems In Nigeria? by ba7man(m): 8:58pm On Mar 31, 2013
We're obviously not in GEJ shoes because he has more inside information on this situation but refuses to act on it. He knows a lot that we don't so he should search himself. Its obvious that Boko-Haram are very comfortable in Borno and Kano so questioning their local leaders, clerics and politicians will be a good starting point.

I remember reading it somewhere that one of the members of the Rock Band "Kiss" said he's slept with up to 4500 women. Sucessful male porn stars also do up to 3000 women. Huge Hefner is still modest compared to that.

Politics › Re: Lagos To Deport 100 Chadians, Malians, Others by ba7man(m): 1:08pm On Mar 26, 2013
Drlumi: If one Nigerian is arrested in New York for attempted terrorism, it makes sense to trace his house and deport all the other Nigerians in the area, right?

I really hope these selected Chadians have been properly investigated and found to be contravening the laws of the land. I would love to believe that that is the case, however from my own experience of the Nigerian police (as a Nigerian), I can be 90 percent sure that they just went around arresting foreigners from these 'lesser developed' countries arbitrarily. For some of them, their only crime might actually be that they are not Nigerians and are not from the West. Sorry to sound disparaging but if you've ever been 'arrested' by our police under the allegation of cybercrime (because you happen to have a laptop and a nice phone without holding the receipt and are unwilling to part with a bribe), you would understand what I'm saying.

While taking a short term course in India, there was a time similar treatment was meted out to us (Nigerians who lived in an area popularly occupied by Nigerians). We were subjected to annoying and humiliating police searches. Needless to say, we protested and had it stopped. It taught me one lesson: If we don't like people accusing us worldwide of being terrorists, we shouldn't use terrorism as an excuse to maltreat other people. What if other nations started deporting Nigerians merely because a bomb blast goes off somewhere or the other in our nation every other week (at least, that's the impression many people outside have)?

Instead of victimizing these guys unnecessarily, we should tighten our immigration loopholes. We should have real immigration laws that are enforced. There should be effective databases of foreigners living in the country and their purposes for being there at each point in time. Don't tell me it can't work in Nigeria; similar developing countries manage such matters much better than we do. We beg every Tom, Dick and Harry to come in in the name of foreign investment and there is zero monitoring of the actions of these people. We then wake up one day and start deporting the less fortunate of them.

I wouldn't expect many people to agree with me. But ill-thought out behaviors like this form the basis for maltreatment of Nigerians in most places (the recent South-Africa episode is a good example). If we don't treat our own people with respect and can't do that to our neighbours, no one outside will respect us. If we catch a terrorist from Chad and our next response is to start deporting Chadians claiming that we suspect that they are 'connected'... what stops the world from doing the same to Nigerians?

In summary: deporting ILLEGAL immigrants is not necessarily a bad idea. We just shouldn't do it merely because they are from Chad or Mali.
If they are in Nigeria illegally, they should be deported. That's what sane nations do. They can't be deported if they are legally in the Country.

Politics › Re: The Reasons Haters Hate President Jonathan by ba7man(m): 10:57am On Mar 23, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: Since you sound like you'r interested in a healthy debate, lets take the arguement a step further.

Some say the president is clueless or should be impeached for his inability to end terrorism in the north. What is the nature of the insecurity in the north? From all indications, it is Islamic terrorism.

Lets give some examples to drive home some point.

The Americans invaded a peaceful Iraq, removed her leader and created an Islamic terrorism in the country. Did the Americans end the insurgency they created before leaving Iraq? Capital NO. The Americans simply ran away from the bombings and suicide bombs in Iraq. Till date, Iraq is in turmoil from the activities of Islamic terrorists. Can we then say the Americans were clueless?

Another example is what happened in Mali. Islamic terrorists were causing havoc and mayhem in the north of Mali. The military said the civillian president was clueless and took over power. What followed? The Islamic terrorist overwhelmed the north of Mali and took complete control of strategic parts of the country. Presently, France and other ECOWAS nations are battling to flush out the Islamic militants. Who then was clueless?

We have Islamic terrorism in Pakistan going on for decades. Is it because successive leaders of Pakistan are clueless?

There's Islamic terrorism in Afghanistan, where the Americans and legitimate Afghan govt have been battling to curb. But so far, no success. Can we say the Americans and Afghan govt are clueless?

If you compare the unknown with the known, you'll know what to expect from the unknown.
@Sincere Nigerian. We all know a lot of situations in Nigeria are politically motivated. This senario in the North is no different. G.E.J sits at the top of the political tree in this country and has acess to information that X-ray the situation( He himself has made statements that confirm this). Countless top members of this sect have being released under his nose with the cover-up that "They escaped". We are not fools, we know that he knows the people behind it but he seems to lack the Will-power to attack the foundation.
