@ Poster, Camry 92-99 parts are not expensive at all. I owned VW Golf ll and lll, they are very strong. I was never afraid of any fult. If road is blocked i could jump the gutter, it's that strong. Camry is sleekier and spacious but i missed my Golfs. Fuel consumption difference in my v6 camry '99 and my golf lll 1.8 '96 from Abuja to Ado Ekiti is 11 litres. Distance of about 500km. Golf will make it in 5hours plus Camry makes it in 4hrs 20 mins. There is little difference in the prices of the spare parts. If i am convinced of reliability of VW Golf lll VR6 i will definitly buy one. Those i have seen had gear problems. Buy any of the two, but you can always cheat ur Golf. I nicknamed the Golf- ROCK. The camry- ROCKET. |
House, pls where is the best place to source for Tailoring Materials in bulk in Nigeria? |
@ karl M You mean our refineries did not turn out any refined products all through 2011. Even if they operate at 10% capacity, why is it not captured in your analysis. |
Pls what are the basic equipment needed to set up a cleaning business. |
MESSI award should be THE BEST STRIKER in the world. There are good goal keepers and defenders. Has any goalkeeper won the award in the past? There sholud be at least three awards for the players- Best Striker, Best Defender and Best Goal keeper. |
Mumu would have gone with four PLANES if he is not trying to cut cost. Coward. |
Only few people in Nigeria use manufacturers' recommended oil. I think 5W30 is synthetic, equivalent to mobil 1. It s about 9k for 4 litres. Try Mobil XHP and see how far it will go, if your rings are still ok and no leakage, the level will not drop. The milage on your car may not necessarily determine the wear on your rings or engine block but how regularly u change and the type of oil you use on the car. |
@ Cardino, Why dont you open a new thread for your car to reach wider prospective buyers. There you can post the pictures. Your car will sell fast if the pixs are loaded on ur thread. Good luck. |
If i want to change the old one how much will it cost. Is it ttrue that an old plate like AA 123 ABC wil become ABC 123 AA |
You need to be good in Maths to be a good programmer but you may not necessarilly be a Guru. If you start showing intererst and luckily u become a Guru, sky will be your limit. I always believe the most logical and smart people have mathematical knowledge. |
Thank you Baba Siena, i had driven it at speeds higher than 55miles but its still on. I will have to use an OBD ll stuff to clear it . Thank you i appreciate. |
sorry to derail the thread, pls Siena, Ikenna how do i clear the ABS light on my dash after fixing the disconnected ABS sensor wire while changing rear shock absorber in a toyota camry 99 v6. Thanks. |
Lets see Messi's record he has listed Ronaldo's. I am not a fan of either of them. I will be happy to see areas where he is better. |
To facilitate your sales, post the pictures of the car it will help you. Happy sales. |
Here comes a BRAND NEW 307 Sedan. Never used. Manual Transmission Location: Abuja Price: N2.8m Contact: 08035099426, 08034221250 |
fuel tank capacity is 21 Gallons, almost 80 litres. Thanks for the prayers. |
congrats luvtoyota, a gallon is approximately 3.75litres. 1 mile is 1.6 km. Your 15 miles is about 24km city drive and 20 miles is 32 km for highway. which is not bad for a jeep with 6 cylinders. God that provided for purchase will provide for fuelling. |
Are you sure this is 98 corolla, just an observation |
Owner tells you 1999, you say 2000 model abi na you want sell for am. Man this car is plainly 98 or 99 model tops. A little steep for the price posted but still I believe negotiable ! I have not seen a 98 or 99 with chrome grill and multi reflective head lights. Owner, kindly show the rear view for clarification. |
This seems to be 2000/2001 Camry. |
I was looking for a huge and elderly person when Ikenna told me he was in front of my office. Surprisingly, he is slim and youthful like me very shy and down to earth. He is more intelligent while he speaks than what we read from him here. The first time i met a Nairalander one on one. Yes, the check engine light is still on, i will drive it for sometime and feed back the forum whatever i observe. Thank you every body! the car runs smooth and better now. I feel like driving it to Ibadan for a friend's wedding tomorrow but it is under restriction for now, guess the reason- CUSTOM PAPER. |
Thank you the whole house, I was able to locate the O2 socket, got it plugged and that almost stopped the black smoke, but at high rpm or while trying to overtake with sudden acceleration i still observe some black smoke but disappear immediately. Pls what is the best way to check the Airflow Meter, I removed the socket while the engine is on and it went off. What does that mean? I tried to start at that state, it did not start until i plugged it again. All the contributions are appreciated. @ Siena, i am still trying to locate where the coolant temperature sensor is located. I believe i am going to solve the problem with the help of the people in this forum and others will learn. |
@ Ikenna, Thank you my brother i will get in touch with you soon. I actually changed my oil by myself the car has been some how sluggish before that the oil change. I thought there would be a better performance after the oil change. You know what happened today, i warmed the car in the morning for about 5-8 minutes in preparation to visit a brother in Karu and another one in Kuje. Before i got to AYA at Asokoro, the car started to respond like the first time i drove it, on my way to Kuje, you cant believe the performance i got to 160-170 and it could do more. I will still get the sensor fixed and check vacuum hoses as well as the Air Mass Meter. Pls, could it be that i need to warm it for some minutes every morning, you know on a working day, most people like me just jump into the car and drive off. |
@ Siena, Sultaan and Ikenna i appreciate your contribution. The car has three O2 sensors two on each of the manifold and one by the catalist pot. Those on the manifold are connected, the third one on the catalist is the one that is loose. I have tried to locate the socket i wouldnt find it. I will confirm with my brother's 99 Avalon later today i learnt they have most things in common. The sensors have two black wires, one blue and one white. I am in Wuse Zone 1 Sir, can you drop your no here i will like to get to know u and lear more, mine is 08034221250. cheers. |
Thank you Sultaan. @Ikenna, Are you based in Abuja? do you have a workshop where i can diagnose the car or how can you help to check this fuel pressure regulator. I am in Abuja. I went under tha car now to check if any pipe is bent or flat but i did not see any. I discovered one of the sensors ( I think O2 sensor) by the catalyst converter pot is unplugged. It is dark i could not trace where it is supposed to be plugged. Thanks. |
Thank you sir you are the best. |
Pls experts in the house, my 99 camry v6 emits black smoke. It does not pick the way it used to be, fuel economy might have droped but i dont care much about fuel as long as my car responds the way i want. It s 3 months old, i just changed the oil and oil filter last week. Pls Siena, Sultaan, Femis and co, what could be the problem. |
Yes Baba, It is AC Compressor for 99 camry v6. Thank you. |
Pls I need the price for catalist converter and compressor for Toyota Camry 99 v6. |
These companies are not fair to people from other parts of the country. I reside in Abuja, some of them invited me for test in the past, it is not easy to go by night and flight ticket is not affordable for applicants. Imagine going to Lag for just test, there may be another test then interview, three trips to Lag. I was invited to Lag two weeks ago by BOBO, a month ago to PH I asked them to send flight ticket. There are test centres in Abuja and other big cities. They can help by sending thier reps to those places to conduct tests. I can only go to Lag or PH for interview not tests. What annoys me most is that the job holder must be resident in Abuja or Kano or, but tests must be conducted in Lag at your expense. Employers should help. |
pls send the pictures and price to my box shola2sholy@yahoo.com |
Pls do you have a registered 2001 or 1999 Camry. pls send picture and prices to shola2sholy@yahoo.com I need either of them immediatly. |
