SMH, I think Economics should be made compulsory for everybody and every courses up to university level.


In a lay man explanation. When there are too much money in circulation or when there is a perceived inflation, government regulatory body increases interest rates to banks and bank increase interest rates to customers which reduces customer borrowing from banks and hence reduce money in circulation and reduces inflation.


On the other hand. When there are lesser money in circulation, govt reduces interest rates to banks and bank also reduce to loan borrowers to encourage loans.

I earn 300k monthly, working and residing in Lagos state with a wife(not working yet) and two(2) kids. Despite that, I have been able to save only 220k from January to August. I feel I can do more.

Biggest hack for me is living below my means and also investing 50% of my earnings.
Currently living in a 450k per annum mini flat on the mainland, drive a simple Honda accord. If you want to save and grow your wealth stop keeping up with the joneses and chasing women for the unmarried folks.

well 800k is not too much to offer a prof but FG may also push for increments in tuition fee which could rose to 1.5m per session,I think that would stop the re occuring strikes. But note that a poor man may never get education again

800k for a professor, that is 9.6miilion a year ,minus other allowances. you guys must be very selfish, and wicked. How much is director at level 16 in a ministry with over 35 years of work salary. Is your job more professional than them. Even permanent secretary salary is not up to 500k. Wicked souls. A teacher at primary school with over 35 years will retire with 70k max, but Una go take almost 800% of the salary. Now I see the reason ASUU is on strike. Federal government should sack all professors, who are into this, and replace them with PHd people who are serious.
