Total UCL matches by Messi 127. Started 116. So check the stats & do the math & reason as a reasonable human being whether what you said above is a basis of argument.

Go & check game to goal ratio in all that you said & see for yourself. When you watch Barça matches frequently you see that on pitch messi is seen taking the ball & doing every runs & still get a goal but for the other its only when he scores a goal we notice him & if no goal no party. Messi plays in a match that he didn't score but he's still the MOTM. Oga Play making is key. In a nutshell there's no how you bring Ronaldo close to messi cause he's in a league of his own.

very funny indeed, Ronaldo is just about goals, that notwithstanding, he's also 2years older than Messi meaning that he started professional football 2years earlier than Messi. Another food for thought- Messi does not struggle for goals, he just scores effortlessly. LOL. football is all about goals. That is the essence of the entire match. I wonder why people always undermine Ronaldo. I am a Ronaldo fan but will agree that Messi is more skilled on the ball. However this takes away nothing from Ronaldo who is also one of the greatest to ever play the game (check his stats). Even the greatest outright strikers of the modern era don't come close! Those calling him tapnaldo obviously started watching him 2 years ago when he modified his game to conserve energy. Still if tap ins were so easy why aren't other strikers tapping in as many each season?- 50 goals a season for the past 9 seasons!. Beat that!

They are different in their playing style with Ronaldo relying more on athleticism while Messi more of the sublime. Rather than argue who is better sit back and enjoy both as we may not see players in this mould again in our lifetime. Peace.
