what else do you expect? The emperor selected INEC chairman if he does not play ball; he would be sacked and EFCC would deal with him. |
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6215057.stmis OBJ trying to play around? instigate impeachment, then turn around to re-instate back the governor. So that he looks like 'Father of Democracy' or is the Court really waking-up. If so why were they compromise before? and why are they now waking-up? Nothing happens from no-where in Nigeria, especially in OBJ Nigeria!! Remember Fela said: OBJ na arrangee master |
sleekmike If Yaradua wins in 2007, will he really deliver. What must he do if he wants to suceed.Listen to emperor of Modern Nigeria! OBJ |
JoshO The goverment has gone to the Appeal court to resolve this. That is correct statement should be coming from a true citizen and friend of Nigeria. Well done. I salute your sense to see reason. Lets wait for outcome and hope OBJ or anyone else is not influencing the Court Decision. |
We love outsiders more than we love ourselves!! simple example: Nigeria and other colonies fought for British against the Germans during the World Wars I & 11. Yet, British love/treat with respect the Germans more than they do for the former African-colonies. Compare British contribution with EU and Commonwealth! |
Most Shocking!!! This is a complete disgrace. He does not even have PhD. shameful!!!! |
Afam Even if OBJ has been wrong all his life this singular decision on Atiku is right and should be seen as so by all well meaning Nigerians. In fact, this is worst thing he will ever do! Rubishing NIGERIAN Constitution in democratic environment!! |
JoshO Atiku, stay with the issues and stop this endless manipulation of the masses by you and your coniving band of pdp dropouts and disgruntled AC stallwarts like Audu Obeh and Tinubu. You are on your own!! No matter what a VP does; armed robbery, kill, corruption etc. The constitution is VERY CLEAR on how to remove such VP!! Get it into your clear, it is not about ATIKU. It is about NIGERIA CONSTITUTION and building democractic institutions |
wormedup this is not the first and i hardly think it's going to be the last.so why is that? is Nigeria only country with petrol pipeline? But we do know: Nigeria is only crudeoil producing country that import petrol. Nigeria is the poorest of all the crudeoil producing countries. Nigeria has highest number of illetrate among these crudeoil producing countries. Nigeria is the only country among these crudeoil producing countriey with external reserve of $40billion in foreign banks. In a failed state; different symptoms abound! Look at the Big Picture. http://www.guardiannewsngr.com/editorial_opinion/gallery/December_2006/cartoon_dec28.gif |
loverboy yes greedy and illeteracy is the main causeAnd who is responsible for such mass greed and illeteracy?? Why were Saudis/Iranians etc not scooping fuel? are they not human beings? This is failure of a Nation! 700people just like that!!! |
This is how Hitler started. Evil thrives when people do not speak up, loud!!! |
There goes again another fuel blast, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6209845.stm Another result of OBJ reforms, in a country with $40billion external reserve, citizen still scooping fuel from pipeline |
chidichris it is believed that abacha looted over us$700 million andAbache looted approx $3billion. Out of this about $700 were in Swiss vault, the rest $2.3billion are with in the Queen's vault. The queen should return our money! |
Anyone knows where the GLO Mobile Chief is hiding? is he really hiding? How come no more news from EFCC? |
superman why are yal talkin as if he is a president! You dont reside in Nigeria, do you? Since OBJ says this slowpoke is the next president; consider it done. |
I heared there is Fuel Scarcity again. Thats OBJ xmas gift!! |
joshO Sooner or later, we'll all be thankful to OBJ and his administration for taking them out of the equation. At least, we are thanking Abacha: During his time, it was N93 to $1 but during OBJ it has grown as N130 to $1. Abacha killed about 150people but OBJ wiped-out ODI village about 2000people Abacha sacked BA for impouding our plane, OBJ gave Bakkasi(full of OIL) to Britain, US & France. Already, the wise British/US are planing to pipe crude-oil from Libay through Bakkkasi as Gulf of Guinea is much peaceful. |
deep soul I do not support his decision to "withdraw" the jet but excuse me, how does that affect the common Nigerian??You should learn to read between the line. The jet does not belong to OBJ but Nigeria. If OBJ can do that to his vice-president, then you can imagine what he would do to Mr Nobody on the street. The man is psyco. Same OBJ wiped-out ODI. Abacha started like that. It is time you people speak up, with clear voice. |
A man who openly fights against the ruling President, without respect to the post he is aspiring to occupySo when you have psyco as President, you should fold your arms and do nothing? Nigerians should be greatful to Atiku & Co for stopping OBJ third term, otherwise, you will be in for another 25yrs of OBJ rule. |
What is this nonsense about rail? Why are you guys not asking right questions? In 8yrs, OBJ and PDP cannot revamp or modernise Lagos-Ibadan express road yet you guys believe they can build rail system? Think twice, people. |
BMW is a great car! Easy to drive and low cost of ownership, at least where I live. For 3years, I never touched the oil or change anything, I only take to my Garage once it reached KM for service. May be 'cos its brand new. |
All well said. what is next line of action? This is what makes a difference between them and US. can those really interested organise for a meeting? at least get something started. I am in for it. |
Good Ideas, but while you are sweating away one useless poor fellow who just joined politics is making fat $$$ you can only dream about. Like OBJ who was so poor in 1999 after coming from Abacha gulag is now the richest Nigerian alive. Point: No level playing field that encourage innnovation. |
Cabali, At the moment, IT Job market is good in Europe, Australia, Singapore, and money is good too. But you will to have work-permit. Those same jobs could be outsourced to Nigeria; but the reputation/infra problems make it damn difficult to convince the CIOs. |
wilkanah obviously u don't have the information i seek but since u insist,I see what you trying to do; thats why I asked 'what objective or businesss requirement you want to meet?'. Try Sugar CRM(www.sugarcrm.com) and host of others. |
wilkanah, Portlets are pluggable user interface components that are managed and displayed in a web portal.Thats danger of relying on text-book definition. You dont get the complete picture! Buying portlet is like saying, I want to buy engine oil while you have no car, or you have car but no driver. So they key to going ahead: what is aim? what objective or businesss requirement you want to meet? what infra that would support this. |
Wilkanah if anyone could help with useful links where portlets can be purchased i'll be grateful.what do you mean buy portlets? Portlets are purely JSP or database based available on application layer which can be customized You will need the entire infra that support it; providers, load balancer, application servers(oracle or websphere), database, support analyst etc. What exactly are you trying to achieve? I could help you out. |
Cabali, Now I got the picture!! So you guys studing IT in Nigeria are in for a long wait; Yar'adua set to become President! |
Revolution: Yar'Adua needs to pick his running mate very careful otherwise it could be disasterous.Stop Dreaming. That is no-brainer. Once sanction by Baba, consider it done! |
LoverBwoy: you are basically blaming the guy for bring there because thats what he is "just there"No. Rather for his dishonesty for accepting, knowing fully well he is not capable. Another Shagari in the making!! |
Cabali hard to believe? This is shocking!! INEC alone should have generated at least 5 SQL/DB jobs in each local council for coming election! What is really the state of IT in Nigeria? is IT jobs in naija out-sourced or what? |
Hi Guys, From reading your posts, I get a feeling that DB/SQL jobs are very scarce in Naija! So what are all those banks doing?, those blue-chips companies? are they runing on excel? are they not innovative with new products? is the economy not growing? Soludo/OBJ says its growing, what about SME? is really so hopeless? I would have imagine as developing society; there should be huge jobs for Apps and Prod DBs. |
