Yes Nigeria is failing and needs quick recovery, but we have a recognised government, a legitimate army recognised even by the militants, thus we are not yet a failed state.

That would be a state in Civil war. It is different from a failed state. Nigeria is a failed state!

Failed state is that which cannot feed its people, cloth them, provide good drinking water and security.

You have to pray just to travel from Lagos to Ibadan. Do you see people praying to travel from Liverpool to London City? do you see people praying to travel from Paris to Provoence?

Yes. I will be getting LandRover Discovery, 1999 Model. I plan to tour Nigeria for two wks and park the car at home.
I will disable the tyres and take back with me the car-keys. And when I visit again and see any problem with Car. I will simply cut-off from everyone.

Many thanks. My head is really spining.

One last question, which I forget. I have not been to naija in years, so I need to get something worthwhile; just cant visit and hire taxis.

I would only visit Nigeria twice in a year in total 4wks. So this car will just be parked.

I know it sound crazy, but am told to atleast have my OWN car in naija. BTW, I have properties too. I am really lost.

I wanted to urgent wire money for hotel payment for some people in Nigeria. The WU people were shocked when I told them how much per night cost.

In same Nigeria, Abuja sheraton is about $100, so why Lagos that much: $400?

I don't care much about spare parts, I can buy and ship those, I am more concern about the mechanics skills.

1. The cheapest you will get anywhere is 30%. So 30% is gone from you N15mil.

2. I guess you need to buy residence permit, another 20%

3. You will need atleast 3yrs to bounce back, if you ever can.

But if security is your concern, why not? Atleast, no armer robber or stray bullet

23 People die as robbers chase luxury bus to accident

Armed robbers on Wednesday morning caused another disaster when they pursued a Lagos bound luxury bus belonging to a popular transport company, until it was involved in a ghastly accident.

A witness told Daily Independentthat the accident happened along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, near the former tollgate. The accident led to the death of over 23 people, after the 52-seater bus rammed into a stationary trailer.

He said the accident happened at about 5.00am and that the vehicle was coming from Abuja to Lagos. Investigation revealed that the hoodlums pursued the vehicle from Ibadan till the driver lost control, before crashing into the trailer.

The witness added that he was traveling in another vehicle and wanted to pass when; " our driver spotted human corpses on the highway and some of the survivors beckoning for help, so we stopped but we were afraid because of robbers, but when the conductor who is among the wounded narrated what happened to us we decided to assist them", he explained.

An official of the FRSC, Wale Williams, who led the team that carried out the rescue exercise, confirmed that more than 23 people lost their lives in the accident.

He said the accident could be attributed to speed on the part of the driver in his effort to escape from the robbers. He urged Nigerians to desist from night travels because of the dangers involved
