ibradeen: I don't think the school was the issue cos I have read a lot of approved visa transcripts of students going to that school. I suggest you post this transcript on the student thread, trust me you will get a lot of feedback that will aid you in planning your next move. 2 Likes |

Ijebuboy525: When you get a GC through marriage, and the marriage is less than two years old before your interview, you're given two year GC and after it expires, you'll have to file for the permanent GC ( which is 10 years ). Most of the time the reason why some ppl aren't able to renew their GC, is because maybe the spouse found out along way that he/she is being used purposely for GC. Other times too, some just take off after getting the temporary GC, thinking they're off the hook, forgetting when the time come to renew, you still need your citizen spouse to file for the permanent GC. And when your spouse know that after you get your permanent GC, you'll abscond, he or she will do it. This is what some ppl do,when they get married, they don't file right way, they wait for like a year and a half, so that by the time they get called for interview, the marriage would've been two years old, so they just get a permanent GC. 10 Likes 1 Share |

khiaa: A child born outside of the US to one or more US citizen parents is a citizen of the US alright, but that child can't never stand to become president of the US that's the difference. You must be a natural born citizen ( born on US soil or it's territories ) to become the president of the US. |

Yeanca: I believe your cousin filed an immigrant visa ( IR5 ) for the dad. With this kind of visa, it's the national visa center who's going to schedule an appointment for interview at an appropriate time for the dad. So no need of filling the DS160 form or booking an appointment for visa. Everything will be done by your citizen cousin. And every approved petition, is assigned a case number, with the case number you can check the monthly visa bulletin, to have an idea when he his likely to be interview. 1 Like |

slimmy2005: I consigned a student loan for my lil sister, wasn't easy and then again, I couldn't see her fall out of status. You can only do that for your blood relative. This shot my debit to income ratio of the roof. Her student loans always reflected on my credit report. It was worth it thou, she is gainfully employed now. 5 Likes |
