Me: I first heard of apsu in one of the scholar’s forum I belong to. However, I did not stop there, I did an extensive online research on institutions that offer mathematical finance and related courses, signaled me to stop

Me: I went for my NYSC, finished 2015

Me: Masters in Statistics

Me: Thank you ma, To be a graduate of Mathematical Finance, Mathematical and statistical background is highly fundamental, hence, I took my time to study and have a degree in Mathematics and Statistics.
VO: Nods in affirmation, and stopped me from giving other reasons majorly why Mathematical finance
VO: Do you apply to any other universities, name them
Me: mtu, Unh and wmu.
VO: Are you married or Single
Me: Single
VO: Any child/children
Me: None , I am single
VO: Who is sponsoring your Education
Me: I explained I got a GA which covers my tuition and fees, and also stipends, and my Uncle will help in provision of other funds...
Then, she continued to type
So, at that time I want to give out my GA letter and bank statement...
But, she signaled , I should not worry for documents....
After a while, pink slip {denied}
Please, what can be done, as I am preparing to reapply.

I successfully renewed my B1/B2 through dropbox last month. Third time having a B1/B2.
However, i just received my i20 and planning to apply for a student visa at the end of June.
My school resumes in August.
Q1. What are my chances of getting an F1 visa with my valid B1/B2.
Q2. In the event that i am refused an F visa, do you think my valid B1/B2 will be cancelled.

P.S. I am going with one dependent (child) who also has a valid B1/B2.

Hello house. Please I need urgent advice.
I am applying for an F1 visa; and my educational sponsor is a family friend who is a US citizen.
Please What are the chances of my visa getting approved. Would the VO question my immigration intent because my sponsor who is a us citizen?
Also; I have been hearing tales of how the embassy is fully booked for interview; and the next available spaces are September/October. My school resumes in September. How do I go about this?

What's your point? I am a natural born American from centuries back. Any child born from me will be an American citizen no matter where the child is born. If I move to Nigeria and have a child with one of its citizens guess what, the child is still American and Nigerian., dual citizenship I guess.

Good day VO, Please i have a question to ask.

I was denied an F-1 visa August this year and am about to re-apply. In my first application i i used my dad's company as the person/entity paying for my trip and also in the section of previous employment i said i have been helping out my dad in his business omitting that of my mum who is a community pharmacist because i thought since my dad is the sponsor that i can only add him. My question goes thus; Can i add my Dad and mum as the entity/organization paying for my trip and also can i include my mum's pharmacy in the previous employment section since i do help her at times in her pharmacy shop?

Please VO help me with this because am confused on what to do. my dad is into importation of motorcycle and motorcycle spare parts and the major i want to study in the US is Pharmacy.

I cannot co-sign for anyone except my wife or kids. Before I co-sign for my kids, they have to show they are worth it and I wouldn’t co-sign an amount I can’t take care incase everything goes south.

Hello all, I applied for a b1 visa sept 2016 but was refused. However I recently got an admission and I am preparing to apply for an f1 visa. I want to find out if travel history will be a problem for this class of visa knowing well that I have no travel history and I have been refused of a b1 visa before now. Please advice.

I made a big mistake. Doing the paperwork for my mom, I did it all by self and now I found out the names difference from the paperwork I attached. It had her maiden name ( her father's name and native middle name) they asked me to provide proof it is the same person.
I also found they spelt her name on her passport differently too. On that same passport, the DOB is different from what I assumed her age was. I innocently did the mistake of non communication.
Problem now my mom doesn't keep/have paperwork I can provide.

I had to do an appearance at the embassy last 2 weeks because I hadn't travelled to the US in 2 years (I got my visa by God's grace). The lady infront of me was denied because the Visa officer used a tactic, the transcript goes like this
