Zeefa, if you end up divorcing this one, make sure you let the next woman (if there's gonna be one) know what she's getting into. Women, sometimes, need to the reminded. Shake her out of her fantasy world; tell her things are not gonna change between you and your man friend even after marriage.

Now, what of when kids come in? Hope you won't be depriving them of the fatherly love they deserve because of your man friend.
The kids won't even mind, you're Nigerian., kids can't complain over such; how dare them.

Goodluck.

OP, you and your wife have different ideologies about the institution of marriage. You got married solely to procreate not to become one, whereas your wife wants the latter.

Women throw their brains in the dust-bin when they are eager to get married forgetting to address the danger that lie ahead; risking marrying a potential flaming faggöt all because of aso-ebi.

It's always cute to know your partner before jumping into a marriage. This issue should have been adressed during courtship.

I know Saturdays are for my man and football, and that ain't gonna change in 20 years' time.... it may actually get worse... question now is, am I willing to deal with that?
FamilyRe: About Married Women And Male Friends by BABE3: 5:13pm On Mar 28, 2013
Shollypopz: Finally scanned through the op's post......

You obviously haven't kept a best friend for a long time. Being best friends before marriage doesn't change the fact that boredom doesn't kick in. Your feelings don't change and they still remain your back bone and sh1t but as long as you're not an indoor wife and u get the opportunity to meet other people, being best friends no longer cuts it.

Every relationship has to be worked on and bla bla bla....
You'd rather be bored with who you're not best friends with than be bored with your best friend?

It would be interesting to know where these husbands have gone wrong..grin
For where? See how dry this joint is? Sahara ain't gat nothing on this topic.

2baga: It is not a trivia matter at all, a married person (male or female) should try to ensure that his or her spouse remains your best friend, because frequent interactions such as narrated above is a gateway to a whole world of temptations.
o
In addition, this best friendship has to come naturally; willingly from both sides. Forced friendship don't last.
FamilyRe: About Married Women And Male Friends by BABE3: 1:29pm On Mar 28, 2013
If both were best friends prior marriage, I don't see why "I do's" should cause any dramatic downward spiral.
A Best friend is far from being "nagging friend" "just sèx buddies", or "I need money friend".

It's hard to find an initial spark lasting for a long time. It's mostly initial gra-gra.
If you're not obsessed with your spouse before marriage; if the honeymoon phase is already super diluted prior marriage, what will be left to bank on for the remaining 40yrs of the union?
Christianity EtcRe: Things To Look For In A Christian Boyfriend/Girlfriend by BABE3: 7:53pm On Mar 27, 2013
This topic is an example of the mistakes women (and men) make nowadays; putting God's responsibilities on a mare man. Are you yourself honest? Are you selfless? Do you read your bible 24/7?
You're not half as perfect as the man you crave yet you want him. Aren't you both humans with the same blood running through your capillaries ?

To the "born agains", how about perfecting your relationship/marriage with your God? All these marriage palava won't fix loneliness.

That "perfect" man or almost "perfect" man doesn't exist!!
EducationRe: Is Mathematics Really Important? by BABE3: 5:16pm On Mar 27, 2013
micollom: smileyMathematics serve as foundation of all field in life (Adhere with it brethren)
Truth.

Mathematics is a fundamental tool of research. Although potentially applicable in every discipline, the amount of training in mathematics that students typically receive varies greatly between different disciplines. In those disciplines where most researchers do not master mathematics, the use of mathematics may be held in too much awe. To demonstrate this I conducted an online experiment with 200 participants, all of which had experience of reading research reports and a postgraduate degree (in any subject). Participants were presented with the abstracts from two published papers (one in evolutionary anthropology and one in sociology). Based on these abstracts, participants were asked to judge the quality of the research. Either one or the other of the two abstracts was manipulated through the inclusion of an extra sentence taken from a completely unrelated paper and presenting an equation that made no sense in the context.
The abstract that included the meaningless mathematics tended to be judged of higher quality. However, this "nonsense math effect" was not found among participants with degrees in mathematics, science, technology or medicine.

Car TalkRe: Benz Vs Honda: Head On Collision! by BABE3: 2:00pm On Mar 27, 2013
coogar: the benz and the honda are both cars, shaped almost the same way and the point of collusion is almost the same surface area.....now they are using soap rammed into wood.
They're comparing soap and wood because, if Honda is made of a stronger material, the damage done shouldn't have been that much, or at least the Benz should be bruised equally.
Car TalkRe: Benz Vs Honda: Head On Collision! by BABE3: 1:56pm On Mar 27, 2013
coogar: they would destroy the rock.......if 10 yokozunas ram their backsides on a 70lb rock, the rock would flatten!
Depends on the material of the rock!
Car TalkRe: Benz Vs Honda: Head On Collision! by BABE3: 1:54pm On Mar 27, 2013
coogar: if a 150lbs human being headbutt a stationary 70lbs hardrock, the human being would suffer the most because his head weighs less than 20lbs. the point of contact is only his head and not his total 150lbs weight.
Multiply the weight of the head by 10= 200lbs. If 10 men headbutt a 70lbs stationary HARD rock, they will all suffer.
The position of the rock might change, but the rock won't get the bruises.

When you're less busy, lets do some practicals.
Car TalkRe: Benz Vs Honda: Head On Collision! by BABE3: 1:44pm On Mar 27, 2013
BashToks: People that are trying to flaw the rule of stationary object taking more damage are pointless. Am not science inclined but like the sensible people said, its simple physics.
If an object rams into another static one, the moving object giving its speed has more momentum and velocity, it has to do the damage. Have u seen someone dat was headbutted before?? Its the same head with the same skeletal material but the stationary head gets a bang!! We're all intellectuals people, at least most of us are!
Now the question is, are the skeletal materials for both cars the same ? Are their masses even the same ?

If a 150lbs human being headbutt a stationary 70lbs hard rock, the human being will suffer the most.

If the Honda was made of a much more stronger/relective material, it's very possible that more damage would have been done to the Benz.

Material does play an important role.

goldfish80: Oga, the topic read "KIm Kardashian Calls Nigerians Apes" before it was edited to the present headline απϑ moved to the front page, after it was established that wasnt her real handle. You have no right to insult Nigerians who reacted spontenously to that insultive tweets.
Why must you always react spontaneously? This isn't even about this topic alone. You people are so gullible it's almost unbelievable.

Even before Seun or whoever changed the topic, common sense couldn't inform you that that tweet isn't real?

goldfish80: Without this reaction by Nigerians who always defend their country against hateful/insultive tweets by foreigneer(see Kenya,Ghana), Naija would have been madeα punching bag by foreigneers on the cyber space(ala Ebuoe)

As soon as I saw this tweet somewhere else I knew this was gonna be the reaction from Nairalanders.

No wonder they are called apes. Any non-ape individual will know that the account is not authentic. However, trust the apes with their insecurity issues and half education, Ghana says something about them, they'll insult, Kenya, insults will flow, even Kim's fake account, insult! Comic relief.

I'm sure a Kenyan created that account. cheesy cheesy

Gboliwe: Jokes!
. . . very far from being a joke. That's how NL works. On a thread, there's the truth, there's party A, there's party B (e-enemies of Party A).
One of the parties is always aligned with the truth but they'd never be on the same page as the other party.

For example, idowu and BABE! had a fight/heated argument on a thread earlier on today. . . on another thread later in the day, if BABE! sees that idowu is supporting an argument (even if it's the truth), BABE! would prefer to go against idowu.

It's always me vs. you. Most opinions on here are not genuine. They're laced with emotions.

Chomzy19: actually they re not.60% of ladies hv sex with their bf's because of d material support they get from him30% because they dont want to loose him, n only 10% because they actually want it. Y do u think money is the beauty of a man?
ngoziliz: u stingy guys just dont want any demand from your girl at all but u re realy gud at demanding for sex. demand is demand both materialy and otherwise. in 95% of relationships, girls dont demand sex and d only demands dey can make is the material one. so tel me, wot in d world is wrong with that? u and i know dat men can sell their birth right just to ve sex, dat is to show d extent at which they enjoy it dan women.
Your mentalities are so warped! 50% of the blame goes to poverty and men that don't know better, the other 50% goes to the glorified beggars/women.
Sèx education should be introduced in higher institutions. We can't go on like this. Sèx was a gift given to us all by our creator, it wasn't for man alone.

When your man is fûcking you, what do you do ? Lie there mute like a log of iroko tree right? Some of you don't even know there are sèx positions beyond missionary. Na vanilla sèx you dey consume like Ice cream.

Enjoy sèx!
Improve your sèx life! Who ever said guys are the only ones that want sèx? Nigerian Girls can pretend sha. They sha want an excuse to extort money from the men that don't know any better.

Too many problems to address. I can't . . .

I never get the logic behind utterances like this. Aren't you both enjoying the sèx or is the man fûcking himself?
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by BABE3: 5:47pm On Mar 07, 2013
ROSSIKE: In the US EVERYONE with a foreign medical degree has to go through the same process.
Of course. . . and to avoid wasting the Nigerian graduates' time, the medical schools in Nigeria are being blacklisted. "Shoooo, we no want you!" cheesy
There's no point in letting graduates from 9 medical schools in Nigeria partake in the licensing tests.

http://dailytimes.com.ng/article/uk-blacklists-medical-graduates-9-nigerian-universities

So much for sound education.
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by BABE3: 5:12pm On Mar 07, 2013
ROSSIKE: You refuted nothing. All you've done is show your shallowness by laughing at Ghana, Rwanda and Burundi.
The link I posted was the organization that represents 4000 Nigerian-trained doctors practising in the US.
You're mad because I'm laughing at a joke made at your expense ? Poor baby. Suck it up!!
The doctors in that organization are Nigerian by birth. . .by birth. The fact that they were born in Nigeria doesn't mean they were trained in Nigeria.

ROSSIKE: What garbage are you typing? What does ''10 years in America prior practicing mean''?
Don't feign cluelessness just because you have nothing to say. It's a cheap way to cop out.

http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/acs_medical_information.html
Read and weep.

ROSSIKE: Then show some intelligence and stop talking crap.
I still refuse to go nuclear.
The problem with Nigeria lies with cûnts like you. If îmbècilès like you don't even realize the country is in need of a miracle in every sector, how will the change we so desire come?
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by BABE3: 4:44pm On Mar 07, 2013
ROSSIKE: What is it with you people?

''SURE THEY BYPASS MEDICAL SCHOOL BUT THAT'S IT''?

''THAT'S IT''?

Where did they attend that medical school?

Was it not in Nigeria?

Can you start the processs you mentioned WITHOUT that 5 years spent at NIGERIAN MEDICAL SCHOOLS? YES OR NO?
Where else were they gonna get their so called medical degree from while in Nigeria? Space ? That they decide to get their "degree" in Nigeria doesn't mean Shyte! When they get to America, they still have to go through series of trainings, exams and more years in school to meet the standard ... If the med.schools in Nigeria were so good, shouldn't the transition be smooth?

Your argument from the start was that Nigerian trained doctors fly out to 1st worlds after med. school and start practicing because they have 24 legs and the Nigerian med. schools are top notch. . .Right??
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by BABE3: 4:30pm On Mar 07, 2013
ROSSIKE: Kindly return to Tonto Dikeh issues and stop disturbing this thread with your ignorance. Majority of Nigerian doctors abroad got their medical degree in Nigeria PRIOR to traveling overseas.
I refuse to go nuclear on your àrsè.
You provided a link to support your argument, I refuted it and this is what you come up with?

Why not go back to the link and tell me what I'm not getting ?
Nigerian doctors abroad ? Prove it, and make sure you find a better link this time.

3 yrs in Nigeria+ 10 years in America prior practicing = the doctor was trained in Nigeria.

ROSSIKE: Your mere shouting form a point of absolute ignorance doesn't alter the facts on the ground in the least. While you are there being useless to self and country, thousands of Nigerian graduates continue to troop out of the country to excel in the chosen fields, for which they were trained - and well trained - in Nigeria.

Tell me something, BABE. Do you have a degree from a Nigerian university?
Why so pained though? Why the insults ? Lets keep it civil.
Yes, I have a degree from a Nigerian university.

Btw, who's tonto dike?
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by BABE3: 4:14pm On Mar 07, 2013
coogar: he should return his university degree......he has embarrassed his citadel of learning far too much in the last one hour....dr oyesiku graduated as far back as 1979 from university of ibadan. he's in his late 50s and he's still practicing in atlanta. even with that, oyesiku continued studying in foreign universities. he's spent more years in foreign education than the nigerian education and yet this rossike is spewing balderdash!
Thank you o.
Most Nigerian trained doctors that come over get the American training for many years. It's even almost like they're starting from the scratch.
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by BABE3: 4:08pm On Mar 07, 2013
ROSSIKE: http://www.anpa.org/
What are you taking about?? I just went through the website and I saw nothing like "LUTH" or "LAUTECH". Those men and women are Nigerian, and that's all about it. They weren't trained in Nigeria.

For their membership requirement, if you're not "America-grounded", they don't want you.So what are you talking about?

Of all things to choose to lie about it's the medical field that caught your attention. The medical field in Nigeria is shît!! Look at the country; is it serious enough for doctors to school and cross over to America to start practicing and lecturing at med. school ? In this day and age. . . Na beans ??!

coogar: ghana, burundi, rwanda!
I guessed as much. grin
