This past week had a hell of a week for me. I just cannot pin point where it all scattered but I did not workout this week at all, save just 4 sets of walking lunges. I hope it is the fact that my mind is just resting because I was the one that was not motivated enough to drag my body to do it. I had just like a day of overeating but everyday was good foodwise. [b][/b]I had to delibrately eat less since am not using it for anything other my daily routine activities. All my ambitions for the week just fell flat before me. Even this morning I could not do anything, but I will. 1000 fitness minutes must add up before the months ends na, I have just 230 mins right now, a balance of 770. I will surely make God's willing.

I need cheering and lots of motivation from you guys, don't look me leave me enter ditch abeg. Have a lovely weekend

Dear Hg, you are not allowed to enter ditch o! There is a positive in your week, which i believe is a big one considering how you were feeling: with the food part at least, you didn't throw it all way and go overboard with the eating. That is usually the slippery slope most of us go down when motivation is lacking but you kept mainly on track!
I'm guessing there will be weeks like this where your body is forcing a rest. Hopefully you will bounce back this coming week with more energy and renewed motivation. You are our main motivator on this thread girl, we can't allow you to be like this oh! You will make it, we are right behind you girl! Lets do this thing ( big hugs) wink

Today I had a breakthrough in my workout. I was able to jog at a good pace without stopping for over 30 mins which I haven't been able to do for sometime...i'm buzzing grin!

@mody: at least it's good you are leaving long stretches (quarterly ) between your touch ups.. For the edges I hear castor oil is good. I make the stylists leave my edges out when I braid. They always want to braid every scrap of hair available!

@Mody: I'm interested in your biotin and multivitamin munchies experience cos I was also taking similar stuff recently and experienced the munchies quite badly...hm
I didn't think to link it due to me also having the Mirena coil in at the time which also causes the munchies and other horrible side effects ; angry . Well I've recently stopped taking these supplements and also had the coil taken out and really felt a positive difference already. Btw are you team' natural' too??, cos I am and really love my hair! #rockin ma 'fro cool

Jogging ( outdoors) - 49.5 mins (broken into 29 mins jogging, then brisk walk for 3 mins, resumed jogging again for 14 mins, brisk walked for 1 min, then final 2.5 min blast sprint)

modath: Friday 29th Jan.
Same as thursday 28th,added 5hrs of bush(tomato,yam,fresh produce etc) market waka,still in PAIN!Will skip hard core workout today;would have done Yoga meltdown if it had been what can be called "Relaxing" but since JM doesn't mess around,will just take a gentle walk.

^ was a bit thrown seeing that date for a sec! Haha That market waka must have really dealt with you..pele

Nice workouts for the week HG and 1000 fitness minutes for this month is fab work. That 6wk6pk is a good one, mine has been collecting dust on the shelf here, time to dust it off me thinks!

Yeah good food judgements is at the fore front of my mind this weekend...#dont undo the good work

Yinx, that's a tough one cos my strategy is avoidance, I have a thing with white bread and pastries so I don't buy them into the home..out of sight out of mind.. How long left on the course? A sure test of your will power.

God blessed my family with a cute li'l girl on friday 8th of march. It was an elective C-section so i am taking things easy.. We are both doing very well.

On another note, I did the kettlebell workout today (thanks for the link @Omo Alata). Really felt it even though I was only using 5kg kettle bells. Not really been myself for a while as I've been dealing with hormones messing me in every which way on and off. Tired of all this so getting the damned thing out next week, can't wait. #Mirena wahala... angry
