I thought Ayat-Al Kursti and Ayatul Kursir were one and the same thing or are they not? I've been playing Ayat-Al Kursti in the house and on my mobile phone and it's driven out all the jinns, as I reported previously.

Thanks again.
Good day brother and I hope you are doing great. The two are the same. Someone might have mistyped the name giving a sort of different spelling but it mean the same thing.

Good day brother and I hope you are cool? Let me quickly combine your posts.

You have quite a vivid Imagination of Jinns made out of fire and evil angels trying to decieve you. Don't you think your mind is playing tricks on you.
Its not imagination and do you believe that there are creatures called angels to start with?

How can I tell you what they are made of, when I haven't seen one. Even in my so called dreams. Abi you have seen one and confirmed from he/she that they used fire to make them.
Good, your quote above shows that you probably didnt read my posts or you just felt replying that way. Jinn and angels are not creatures that could be seen with the naked eyes. They are invisible creatures. Are you satisfied and if not, read my posts again and get in touch if not understood.

Even Human beings were made from water and soil. What are animals made from
By the way am I reading it wrong, isn't there some mention of cloth of blood as human ingredients too?
It seems you are confused here. shocked Rephrase your question and I would come in. cool

Hi Babs,
Very many THANKS for your input. I'm most grateful.
You are welcome. What are friends for? cheesy

Yeah, you are right, I never ever used to mention God's name in my house, let alone go to Church to pray. Never been to Church in all the years that I've lived in the UK. I'm just an easy-going, care-free person that's been spoilt by Western decadence.
Please try to make amends since you have known the cause partly.

One thing though, I've always, always shown a lot of kindness to people, so maybe that's one thing that's going in my favour.
Well, it may be but want you to know that its not as a result of that because Allah would always protect whosoever He wishes to regardless of your belief. When Allah created Adam and told Iblis (leader of the Jinn) to prostrate, Iblis said no 'that how could he prostrate to a man you created from clay whereas He created him from smoking fire'. He disobeyed Allah and Allah cursed him till the Day. Iblis, having saw what happened felt that ALLAH cursed him because of a man created from clay and told Allah to grant him a respite (never to die till judgement day) and Allah granted him ad he said that ' Allah punished him as a result of not prostrating for man, he would mislead them and make them ungrateful and rather than being grateful to Allah, the creator, man would always give glory to creation like we are seeing here and there. Iblis said that he would mislead them and make them go astray except those that are guided (the slaves, Muslims). Allah then told him that he would not be able to lead astray His slaves (Muslims) except polytheists, evildoers etc. Read about this in Quran 15 v 26 - 42. You can also read about Solomon/Sulaimon in Quran 38 v 35-39

I'll try and get an mp3 version or video clip of the prayer 'Ruqiah' that you mentioned. I'll do anything for the jinns never to come back because I get distressed by the whole experience. I have never done any harm to anybody in my life, never, so, why should they manifest themselves to me? I didn't do anything to invite them into my house either - I wouldn't dare! I just don't understand.
You never can tell. You mght have unknowingly stepped on toes. They are invisile creatures in which you must have done something to tem unnoticed. You have to be prayerful and do away with your lifestyles and try to make amends where necessary.

I only ever used to call my mum (and grandma's) name in the house because I miss them and wished that they were alive and living with me here, in my house. You know how it is - you miss your mum terribly especially if she died whilst you were a kid and so, never got to know her. Still, life goes on.
I only ask for Allah's protection because He is the Creator and knows best.
It is a painful experience but like you said life goes on. Death is the most certain thing but what matter most is how prepared are we when it comes and what would our fate be right from when someone dies and was laid in his house (grave) lonely ad the angels come asking him questions

1. who is your God?
2. What is your religion?
3. What do you know about prophet Muhammad (saw).

It is only when one is able to answer these satisfactorily that he would escape the punishment in the grave.

If a muslim dies, when laid in the grave, a handsome man would enter his chest and keep him company till the angels would come and when they come, they would see the handsome man there and would leave saying that the man has already known their answers. This handsome man would be the Quran.

Let me stop here but you learn more here

May Allah continue to protect you and you could also add Quran chapter 113 and 114

Ayatul Kursir is the verse of the throne its a very powerful verse too

when we started going to Dara, it was among the first Ayats that we were taught, with time we memorised it
I read it and Al Qunut before i go to bed

Hadith - Tirmidhi #2173, Narrated Jubayr ibn Nufayr [Darimi transmitted it in mursal form].

Allah's Messenger said, "Allah finished Surat al-Baqarah with two verses which I have been given from His treasure which is under the Throne; so learn them and teach them to your womenfolk, for they are a blessing, a means of a approach (to Allah) and a supplication."

Ibn Taimiya, Majmu, vol. 19, p. 55
"The numerous people who have experienced these events all confirm the amazing effectiveness of this verse in warding off jinn and breaking their spells.
It [editor's note: ayat al-Kursi] has a great effect in repelling devils from humans, from the possessed and from those picked out by jinn, such as wrongdoers, people with bad tempers, those who follow their desires and lusts, musicians and those who become ecstatic through whistling and clapping. If these verses are read over them with sincerity to Allah, the jinn will leave. It will put an end to the mirages created by the jinn. It will also disclose the falseness of those, the brothers of the jinn, who perform miraculous acts. The jinn inspire their devotees with some knowledge that the ignorant think are miracles that Allah grants His pious servants. In fact, they are simply Shaytaan's acts of deception over his devotees, of those whom have earned Allah's wrath and those who have gone astray."

Hadith - Tirmidhi #2145, Narrated An-Nu'man ibn Bashir
Allah's Messenger said, "Two thousand years before creating the heavens and the Earth, Allah inscribed a book of which He sent down two verses with which He concluded surat al-Baqarah. The Devil will not come near a house in which they are recited three nights."
[Tirmidhi and Darimi transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a gharib tradition.]

Salam/Shalom/Peace

I felt what you went through but was never moved nor surprised because all that happened to you was the work of Jinn. I mentioned partly about Jinn in one of threads and said that I would create a thread on the life of Jinn and Angels Insha Allah if time permits

Well the jinn is a creation like human being. They eat, worship and produce like we do hence Allah said He didnt create man and Jinn except to worship him.

Of Allah's creation, it is only man and Jinn He gave freedom to. The Jinn is of various size and shape. We have believers and non believers among them. We have believers that move with Human beings and non believer alike. There are Jinn used by Iblis (Satan) who happened to be their leader. The Jinn has power to turn to whatever they feel like and travel like lightening and you would get clearer if you could lay your hands on the story of Sulaimon/Solomon.

We have wicked ones among them and peace, religious ones among them too.

Jinn fall in love with human beings and would always protect the person be it man or woman and would do anything to win the person.

Some of the so called religious leaders use the Jinn to accomplish their aims. They send them on errands etc

Now to your post, like I said, Jinn live with human being and your story is not that different in the sense that you don't worship nor call the name of God in your house and you must have done something to anger the Jinn hence their disturbing you.

There was a story about a lady called Mariam that probably offended the Jinn. The Jinn made life miserable for her but Alhamdulillah, she is now delivered.

There is a prayer called 'Ruqiah' in which you can do for any Jinn possessed person BUT YOU MUST BE VERY STRONG before you could do that or better still, get the tapes and play it most times in your house, office and anywhere you have the opportunity of doing that and the Jinn would flee from you.

Maa Alah continue to protect you.

@Muslims

Alhamdulillah for being a Muslim and it seems most of us do not know what Allah done for us by being a MUSLIM. WE HAVE the Quran, different supplications for their issues.

May Allah continue to guide us and make us not unbelievers

Can u please explain what u meant by Salatul Tasbih (item 4)
ONE

For forgiveness of All Sins

Benefits of Salat-Ul-Tasbih

Our Beloved Prophet Mohammed (Sallallaho Alihiwassallam) said to his uncle (father’s brother) Sayyiduna Abbass (may Allah be pleased with him) Oh uncle shall I not give you Shall I not grant you Shall I not award you Shall I not do mercy on you When you do 10 things Allah will forgive your sins: of the future and of the past; new and old; those you have forgotten and those you did knowingly; big and small; hidden and revealed. Then he (Sallallaho Alihiwassallam) explained the taught the way to pray Salatul Tasbih and then said if you can pray this salah once a day, if you can not pray once a day then every Friday, and even if this is not possible then once a month and even if this is not possible then once a year and even if this is not possible then at least once in a lifetime (Abu’Dawood & Tirimzi)

How to perform Salatul Tasbih?

This salaat (namaz) is offered in four rakat at a time and can be read in any part of the day and night besides Zawal and Sunrise and Sunset makrooh times, keeping in mind the forbidden times for performing Salat (namaaz). But is is preferred before Zuhr (Fatawa Alamgeeri)

The Tasbih to be read in Salaat-Ul-Tasbeeh:
" Subhaan Allahi Wal Hamdulillahi Wa Laa ilaha illal Laahu Wallahu Akbar "

Method:
Goal is to recite above Tasbih 300 times in Four Rakah with the following method.
In the first rakaat, after reading Sana "Subhaana Kallahumma, ", read the above tasbih 15 times.

Now recite Aaoz "Aoozubillah, ", Bismillah "Bismillah, ", Then read sura Fatiha and a Surah or minimum of three small Ayayhs then read the tasbih 10 times again.
Go to ruku saying Takbeer (Allah Hoo Akbar), after reciting "Subhaana Rabbiyal Azeem" minimum of three times read the tasbih 10 times in Ruku.
Saying "Samee Allahu Liman Hamidah Rabbana Lakal Hamdh" get up from ruku to qiyam position.

Now read the tasbih 10 times.

Go to Sajdah saying Takbeer (Allah Hoo Akbar) and after reciting "Subhaana Rabbiyal A'la" minimum of three times read the tasbih 10 times in Sajdah.
Now go after first Sajdah go to Jalsa (sitting position) saying Takbeer (Allah Hoo Akbar). Sitting in Jalsa read tasbih 10 times.
Go to sajda again saying Takbeer (Allah Hoo Akbar) and after reciting "Subhaana Rabbiyal A'la" minimum of three times read the tasbih 10 times in Sajdah again.
Get up to begin 2nd rakat saying Takbeer (Allah Hoo Akbar).

Do rakah #2 in same fashion, but before reading Bismillah "Bismillah, ", and Surah Fatiha, read the tasbih 15 times. Follow the rest as you did in first Rakat.
After second Sajdah of Second Rakat sit in Qaidah Oola (first sitting) read Attahiyat, Durood and Dua then get up for 3rd rakaat without saying Salam.
Begin third Rakat, just like the first Rakat, with Sana "Subhaana Kallahumma, ", read the above tasbih 15 times. Follow the rest as you did in first Rakat untill you sit for Qaidah Akihra (last sitting) after second sajdah of fourth Rakah.
In Qaidah Akihra Attahiyat, Durood, Dua finish Salah with Salam.

Special notes for Salat-Ul-Tasbih:

1) Do not count loudly. It will break Salah
2) Do not count on fingers or by holding a Bead Tasbih in hand. It is Makruh.
3) You may count by pressing the fingers as a reminder. For example if you are in Ruku. You me press pinky of your right hand first for the first count, then the finger next to it for second count, then the middle finger for third count, following this method untill you reach the pinky of left hand will give you an exact count of ten. Use the same method in Qayam, Sajdah and Jalsa.
4) If missed a count then make it up in the next posture. For example if forgot to recite Tasbih after Surah in Qayam. Then you may recite Tasbish 20 times instead of 10 in Rukuh after "Subhaana Rabbiyal Azeem". Missed Tasbih cannot be recited in Qayam after ruku and Jalsa between Sajdah. If you missed the Tasbih in Ruku then recite 20 in the first Sajdah instead of the Qayam after rukuh. Similarly if missed the Tasbih in first Sajdah then do not make it up in Jalsa. Instead recite missed tasbih in the second Sajdah. If Tasbih has been missed in last sajdah of second or fourth Rakah then you can recite the missed ones before Attahiyat in Qaidah.
5) If you miss a wajib in Salah and have to do Sajdah Sahaw. You dont have to recite Tasbih in Sajdah sahoo, since the 300 count has been estalished. But if you had missed Tasbih in any of the postures and remeber it now. Then you may recite the missed Tasbih in Sajdah Sahaw now.
6) It is preferable to recite after Surah Fatiha Sura Takathuur in the first raka’, Surah Wal A’sr in the second raka’, Surah Kaferoon (qul ya aiyuhal Kafiroon) in the third and Surah Akhlas (Qul hu Allah-hu ahd) in the fourth raka’. If one does not remember these surah they can recite the ones they prefer.

May Allah accept this dua’ (supplication) for the sake of the trustworthy PROPHET MOHAMMED (Allah’s Grace & Peace be upon him)

Source: Fiqh-us-Sunnah, vol 2, # 33

‘Ikrimah reports from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah said to ‘Abbas ibn ‘Abdal-Mutalib: “O ‘Abbas, O Uncle, shall I not give you, shall I not present to you, shall I not donate to you, shall I not tell you ten things which, if you do, Allah will forgive your first and last sins, past and present sins, intentional and unintentional sins, private and public sins? The ten actions are: pray four rak’at, reciting in every rak’ah al-Fatihah and a surah. And when you finish the Qur’anic recitation of the first rak’ah, say, while standing, ‘Subhanallah, al-hamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar‘ ['Glory be to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. There is no God except Allah. Allah is the greatest.'] fifteen times. Then make ruku’, and while you are in ruku’, say the same ten times; then stand, and say the same ten times. Then go down and make sajdah, and while you’re in sajdah, say the same ten times. Then sit after the sajdah, and say the same ten times. Then make sajdah, and say the same ten times. Then sit after the second sajdah, and say the same another ten times. That is seventy-five [repetitions of the phrases] in each rak’ah. Do that in each of the four rak’at. If you can pray it once a day, do so. If you cannot, then once every Friday. If you cannot do that, then once a year. And if you cannot do that then once in your life.“

This hadith is related by Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Ibn Khuzaimah in his sahih, and at-Tabarani. About this hadith al-Mundhiri says: “This hadith has been related through many chains and from a number of companions. The best of them is this one from ‘Ikrimah. A group of scholars have graded it to be sahih, including al-Hafez Abu Bakr al-’Ajari, (al-Mundhiri’s teachers), Abu Muhammad ‘Abdurrahim al-Misri, and Abu al-Hassan al-Maqdisi.” Ibn alMubarak says: “The tasbih prayer is a greatly desired act and it is desirable that one should punctually observe it and never neglect it.

IslamRe: Questions And Answers On Islamic Jurisprudence (fiqh) by babs787(op): 8:22pm On Oct 01, 2008
Question 11

what is the shariah ruling concerning a man who doubts if he is still in a state of ablution or not?

Answer:

If a man performs ablution then doubts if it has been invalidated or not, he is to deal with the matter according to the principle of 'certainty', that is 'certainty does not fade away because of doubt'. In other words, he remains in a state of ablution. In spite of his doubts, unless he becomes 'certain' that he has been afflicted with a hadath.

The same ruling applies if he is afflicted with Hadath then doubts if he has performed ablution or not; the ruling here is that he is 'certainly' in a state of hadath and so it is not permissible for him to perfrom prayer until he performs ablution. This is simply because 'doubt' here is concerning hadath which invalidates ablution and not concerning ablution itself.

The original proof in this regard is the hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Zayd who said
'Someone complained to the prophet (saw) about the case of a man who imagines, while performing prayer, that he has been afflicted by someting (i.e hadath) and he (saw) said, 'He must not leave the prayer unless he hears a sound or finds wind (i.e. smells wind)

Question 12

To what extent does sleeping nullifies ablution?

Answer

Sleeping nullifies ablution if a man wholly engaged in it to the extent that he canot realize someting, such as wind, has gone out of him or not. It has been naratted on the authority of Safwan Ibmn Assal, may Allah be pleased with him, who said

'The Messenger of Allah (saw) commanded that if we are travelling, we should not take off our Khuffs for three days along with their nights except because of Jannabah, yet (not) because of excrement, urine and sleeping. (narrated by At-Tirmidhi
)

Thus, the prophet (saw) put sleeping, urine, and excrement on the same footing. However, sleeping does not invalidate ablution absolutely as pinpointed above.

Question 13

Does touching one's genital nullifies ablution absolutely?

Answer

Touching one's genitals nullifies ablution only if it is done without something that prevents direct touching with the skin. So there is no harm if a person touches his genitals with a handkerchief, for example in between.

Also, there is no harm if a woman touches the genitals of her husband or her own anus or the genitals of her child, because there is no proof in this connection.

IslamBeware Of Jinn Disguising As Jesus by babs787(op): 7:26pm On Oct 01, 2008
Salam all.

I am not trying to create a sort of enmity or castigate Christian as a religion nor ridicule Jesus because Jesus is a prophet of Islam and would always be respected anytime and any day but there is this thing that has been happening and I thought it would be better to nip in the bud and create awareness so that people would not fall for it again.

I am very sure one or two would have heard about stories on how Jesus has been appearing to some people in their dreams and telling them to worship him.

Well, we need to get to the root of it now and I could remember that one of my Christian friend here posted a link where some accepted Christianity as a result of seeing Jesus in a dream and we should ask ourselves, is that picture in existence really that of Jesus?

Well, there is Iblis who is referred to as Satan and was created from fire. This Iblis happens to be the leader of the jinn and I learnt that this Jinn lives up to 200,000 or more and those that doe young dies around 80,000 years.

They were created from fire, lives longer than human beings, have the power to transform to anything they feel like. They are like Human beings as well. They have believers (Muslims), non muslims etc and they come in different.

Jinn can take the form and shape of anything they feel like and travel very fast hence their creation from fire and as result of their ability to take shapes and forms, human beings think and claim that they saw their dead relatives in another country, state and location. There is nothing seeing somebody that died in a location, country or anywhere. Its the handwork of Jinn.

Now, this Iblis uses Jinn to carry out his work and these Jinn have men that they use in accomplish their aim e.g some white garment churches, alfas use them.

Insha Allah, I will create a thread on the life of the jinn and that of the angel.

Back to the issue.

This Jinn has the ability to hear words from Heaven prior to the revelation of the Quran and was chased when Quran was revealed.

With regards to the issue, is the picture of Jesus really Jesus? No far from that, Mary the mother of Jesus rejected it when shown the picture and the jinn said that it is what people believed that the use for them as Jesus.

Now, if they want to convert someone, it normally happen to Muslims. In a dream, they would put the picture there, shining light to it and would tell the person to worship and that would be his last chance.

The person would wake up and felt that Jesus spoke to me and would decide to 'jumb the fence'. It has happened to 2 people I know. One a friend of mine but he is now a Muslim and the other still a Christian.

I had to cut it short because the tory plenty. Muslims should please beware in order not to be caught unaware because it normally happen to those strong in faith.

Does anybody has any similar story to share?

IslamRe: On Zakatul Fitr by babs787(m): 5:38pm On Oct 01, 2008
I dont think Zakatul fltri is for non believer but voluntary alms could be given to them but more responses would be appreciated.

It is prohibited to give Zakah to a non believer, a dhimmi ( a non muslim living under the protection of an Islamic govt)or an atheist because the prophet (saw) said that 'Zakah is to be taken from the rich amongst them and be given to the poor amongst them (Narrated by Ibn Majah and others).

Meaning that Zakah is to be taken from the the rich amongst Muslims and be paid back to the poor also amongst them, and thus non-Muslims are not to be given anything of it. Ibnul-Mundhir says 'all the scholars we have learned (religious and fiqhi knowledge) from unanimously agree that no dhimmi is to be given anything from the property of Zakah.

however, it is permissible to give such people voluntary alms because it has been narrated by Muslims that Asma Bint Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with her, asked the prophet (saw) whether she could keep the tie of kinship with her polytheist mother through some property and he (saw) said to her 'yes, keep the ties of kinship with your mother'.

Allah knows best.

@Nimshi

ayinba1 & mukina2: you'D see on this thread what is happening. Of course, you can't force adults to behave like adults, but what we're seeing is the hijacking of this thread, and by those professing Islam. This is the sort of distraction I'D earlier referred to.

Someone makes a post about how Islam supports honour killings; instead of focusing on thoroughly debunking this false claim, and correcting any related misconceptions, we have the discussion being distracted by babs787 to a matter on another thread; yet, babs continues to - probably willfully - misread me, making into my words things not there, and further requesting from me a declaration of faith; and olabowale returns to accuse me of several things, including a comparing me to some of the dishonest men the earth has ever known. Is hounding Nimshi now more important than correcting those who peddle false claims against Islam?? I don't understand why people can have such a misplacement of priorities. If they want to attack, then go to the relevant thread. There're still important aspects of the current topic that's yet to be untouched. But if this discussion should die, then that's such a shame.

babs787: if you must question me and my faith, then go to the relevant thread.
olabowale: if you must attack my person, then find a new thread or one of the old threads.

In any case, any attack will be addressed with the same spirit of your posts. We're still celebrating, so I hope you will set your priorities right.

Salam.
I am very sorry for that brother and happy celebration. grin

I laughed when I stumbled upon this post of yours. Let me ask you, would I deceive my creator if I could deceive you. Far from that sister. If you would recollect, I have been saying it since I joined Nairaland and telling about my reversion but by bit when we engaged in discussion then.

I was never a muslim. My parent used to be a CAC and I do hope you know what is meant when someone is a CAC member and not like these new generation churches. Throughout my youth and part of my adulthood was spent as a christian, devoted one for that.
Then, there was not much speaking in tongues and miracles like its now every Tom Dick and Harry that does miracles.

I have been telling about myself since I came to Nairaland and my posts speak for me. I have virtually raised threads on issues in christianity, ranging from Jesus dying for your sin, being your saviour, crucifixion etc.

Sister, I am not here to lie, I am not a kid and I thought I mentioned that of my late recently who 'reverted' to Islam last year and I do think that God didn't want him to die as unbeliever hence opening hs chest to Islam.

I could remember that you challenged me then that how could I be using 'reversion' showing that I was never a christian (I couldnt recollect the exact thread) but I told you then that the exact thing should have been 'reversion' and not 'conversion' as most people do say when a christian accept Islam and I remembered vividly that I used Quran 30 v 30 for you then.

Sister, I dont need to lie as lying to you would be tantamount to sin and one should always be honest in what he or she does. I also told you how and what I faced during the period I wanted to be a muslim.

I could still remember vividly when you posted a thread on one accepting christ as a result of seeing Jesus in a dream and I had to explain those behind the dream to you and INSHA Allah, I would still create a thread for that.

I had to teach myself reading the Quran and I used mostly Sudais recitation and attended Tajweed to smoothen my Quran recitation and I spent years studying the bible more than the Quran as a result of my background and I am still learning some things in Islam.

Sister, truth stands from falsehood, except he/she that wants to deceive himself/herself.

HADITH FOR THOUGHT

The Authority Of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari RAA
------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -
From the Prophet (peace be upon him) is that among the sayings he relates from his Lord (may He be glorified) is that He said :

"O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you.

O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything.

O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it.

O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him finds good praise Allah SWT and let him who finds other that blame no one but himself."

Reporters.
It was related by Muslim (also by at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah).

DUA!

"Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us, Our Lord do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people."

Amin!

s there any chance that those that sighted the moon might fabricate it just to end the hunger strike?
Well, those that followed those that claimed to have sighted moon followed the Sunnah of the prophet (saw) and if they had lied, then the punishment would be theirs.

Question 10

what is the shariah ruling concerning any object that prevents water from reaching any of the specified organs of ablution?

Answer

one of the conditions that must be fulfilled for the validity of ablution is that none of the organs which water must reach is to be covered with any thing that prevents water from reaching it, such as wax, blacktop, dough, as well as the substances that many put on their nails in what is known as 'manicure' and 'pedicure' . Moreover and important still, as long as ablution is not valid because of such things, also prayer is not valid if performed with an ablution performed while the organs specified in it are covered with any of them

Allah knows best.

Next would be:

what is the shariah ruling concerning a man who doubts if he is still in a state of ablution or not?

@Javalove

Thanks for your post. I read my name hence my posting here. Allah has been merciful to me, He made people to have been reverting to Islam through me. A lady accepted Islam just because of the miracles of the name of Allah written on the name of His creation and Allah said that He would be showing mankind sign so that they would know that he is the Creator and Master of all (sorry I didn't put it as it is in the Quran).

Could you believe that a brother accepted Islam here on Nairaland reading one of my posts but never broadcast it here and mailed me personally and we talked. I had to join and attend lectures of people that go for Fiqh, Sunnah as a result of my background because once your Solat is perfect, others set in.

Alhamdullilah, a brother accepted Islam and even tore the bible after having shown him some facts from the bible but told him never to do that as he could still use it in his dawah just like I have versions and different publications

How many would I count sef, Allah has been wonderful to me. There was a lecture/debate organised by one Jamiu Adegunwa, Ishaq Akintola and one pastor Isang in which at the end of the day, most of his congregation accepted Islam at Law school in V.I.

This pastor organized the debate more than twice and was floored all through.

Should I still tell about a 'miracle deceiver' that was defeated and accepted Islam.

Should I mention Masud, formerly Matthew (surname withheld but could be supplied when needed), was ordained by Late Idahosa, got lots of certificate, won lots of soul but Allah touched his heart and he is now handling a comparative society where he has been winning souls.

Or about Jehovah witness that came and was honoured but later denounced their faith.

I was called to start a comparative society as a result of my background but said not yet because of time but am still doing it for those that really want to see the light.

Should I talk about my father, siblings and my mother that Allah would touch her heart soon (Insha Allah).

Some of my mother's people that came staying with her are having interest in Islam, learning about it each passing day and could you believe that Mum never force anyone to church like she used to and would wake any of us (her children, grandchildren) and remind us to go for Solat whenever we are with her with our family

Despite her not having accepted Islam, we still treat her as a good mother just like the holy prophet teaches us to be kind towards our parent but should not go when either of them ask us to worship Idols.

@Javalove

It would be hard for Muslims to enter hell just like I said in one of the threads. Even this Ramadhan alone would make someone enter Al-Janah if done as it ought to be and most rewarding which I am happy to have been witnessing this NIGHT OF MAJESTY which happens to be better than 1,000 months which translates to like 83 years and some months. So tell, how many of us could beat his/her chest that he/she would live up to 80 years! But Allah in his infinite mercies made it simple for us.

The early prophets lived like 1,000 years and some less than that. The companions of the Holy Prophet said that how could they earn rewards just like early prophets and people since they would not be living up to that years and one of the favor Allah did for us is the NIGHT OF MAJESTY among all in which you would be rewarded like someone that worshiped him for 83 years and some months just because you pray to Him in one single day!!! This happens to be different from the reward obtained in fasting because each deed you do would be increased in manifolds.

Also there are branches of faith in which the highest is believing that there is no deity of worship except Allah and Muhammad is His messenger while the least is picking harmful objects from roads.

It would be hard for Muslim to enter hell fire because if you do a good deed, you would be rewarded ten times and if you do a bad deed, if you didn't seek forgiveness within 6 hours or more, it would be counted as one for you and if you have the intention of doing bad deed, it would not be recorded for you if its not carried out.

May Allah increase our knowledge and protect us from Shaitan. Ihdinnah Siratal Mustaqqin. HE is Allah that leads and directs. Oh Allah guide us to the right path, the path of those that have earned your favor and not those that have gone astray. (Amin)

I rest my case.

Maa Salam Brother.

Question 6

what are the properties of ablution?

Answer

for considering the etiquttes and properties of ablution the Muslims should bear the following in mind:

a. Not to use a large amount of water

b. Not to wash the organ in question more than three times

c. to embrocate his organs

d. not to seek the help of anyone else to perform the acts of ablution for him except when disabled to do that himself.

e. to say after finishing his ablution, 'i testify that there is no god but Allah and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger' as recommended by the Messenger of Allah (saw) in a hadith narrated by Muslim and others.

Question 7

How is ablution nullified?

Answer:

There are certain things that nullifies ablution. They can be pinpointed in brief as follows:

a. Urine and excrement and whatever goes out of stool and urine ducts such as pre-seminal fluid (madhy) and wind.

b. Sleeping: if a man sleeps lying, this nullifies ablution, yet if a man sleeps while sitting in such a way that makes him control his openings, his ablution is not invalidated because of that.

c. Vomiting a quantity contained in the mouth. If the quantity vomited is little, ablution is not nullified by that. This 'little' quantity has been estimated by some faqis to be less than a quantity that fills the mouth such as eructation with which some water or food goes out of the stomach.

d. The egression of blood when it flows out of the body or when it is a lot to the extent that it 'flows' out.

e. Loud laughter nullifies ablution and therefore nullifies prayer. This is according to Abu Hanifah. Smiling, however, doe not affect either of them. On the other hand, Ash Shafii and Ahmad maintain that laughing does not invalidate ablution because it is not part of the hadith that affects it.

Allah knows best.

Question 8

What is the shariah ruling concerning arrangement when performing the acts of ablution?

Answer

Some faqis consider arrangement when performing the acts of ablution to be one of the 'conditions' that must be met for the validity of ablution. This arrangement is to be considered by washing the face first of all then the hands up to the elbows then rubbing the head, then washing the feet with the ankles. This is obligatory according to Ash Shafii and Ahmad while Abu Hanifah says it is an act of the Sunnah.

Question 9

what is the shariah rulinf concerning muwalah or continuation when performing ablution?

Answer

Muwalah is to 'continue' washing the specified organs of the ablution one after the other immediately, or in other words to wash the following organ before the previous one dries.

Scholars have differed concerning this matter as some of them consider it to be an obligation while some others regard it as an act of Sunnah.
