dfutbolar: Na people like una dey spoil this country image. Those patronising you are also guilty. If IRCC is on this thread now you will just cause innocent people unnecessary scrutiny again and spoil chances for good people. Please delete this now or we will start reporting your moniker Mehn.. I didn’t know this thing is already rampant!! I have 2 guys that did it at a certain health center in lagos. 10k for the vaccination card, with barcode verifiable online. Its instant, now they have both traveled. I could have done also but abeg, since canada has said its not necessary, why would I start lying. Something that follows you all through! Starting from arrivecan. If you’re thinking of getting the fake card, know that you’re going to a country that knows how to keep records. |

MadeMan01: Its actually a Very good decision and long overdue. It is shameful that a country has two different exchange rates for FOREX, it shows the government is not in control of the FOREX economy all this while. This thrived because a lot of politicians and their cronies were getting license to open Bureau De Change and they were just getting licenses. This would have been a good thing in a sane climate! You think this guys will want to push their brothers out of business? USD has miraculously jumped to 522 over night. Wahala for who never buy. Lets hope something is done quick. |

ray007bu: Please which branch did use and also the address you put there is it the same address you used when filling your application? If you’re in lagos, or close to lekki, you can just take it to the ups few steps after the vsf itself in ikate. Two - ways from there is 3800. You can tell them you would come and pick it up. So they just write their address on the package. |

EmeeNaka: Airline websites are the costlier sef. The Expedia is quite cheap, I somehow feel it's not real. I will check the Momondo you mentioned Download and use ‘hopper’ it even tells you the days to fly with the cheapest rate across all airlines. |

Thank you 1. You can carry as much as you want, but if you are carrying above 10k CAD or 7,960 USD, it MUST be declared. |

Access bank is just trash, went there also, and i was told it might take up to a month as CBN isn’t approving transactions yet. Got pissed and left. Headed to sterling bank and I was told it take 3-10 working days. Filled the form and was debited on the 5th day. |

lawfree638: He meant to say Via PTA.
Even when you are buying BTA or PTA, you still need to fill the form A "form" in some banks. I know of some banks. -
Either BTA or PTA, most banks I know (can't say for all) will still give you the form A "form" to submit with your other documents. Duly completed Form “A” is a requirement
So technically, he is correct. Okay then, but most if not all banks need you to present a return ticket? |

Alchemist01: Hello guys,
For those that travelled to Canada recently, how did you change your naira to USD before travelling. I have tried the personal travelling allowance route but almost all the banks have return ticket as a requirement. I am going as a student hence I booked one way trip as I have no idea when I will be returning.
Is anyone aware of any alternative asides Bureau de change/Aboki ? Yes, you need return ticket to get pta from banks. The best alternative is using aboki or trusted someone to buy cad from over there. If you’re in lagos I can connect you. |

1. Check again, there is a section to fill in your siblings on that form. 2. Just like me, I have an elder sister in Canada, and another in the UK. I stated them both clearly, I was still approved. Infact, my school is a stone throw from the address of sister in Canada. 3. You can include their International passport in your client information. Akanoa: 1.Hello, please I need advice on an issue. I'm trying to prove my family ties using my siblings. I've checked the ircc family form but there is no section for that. Please where do I state all the siblings I have. We are 7 in number and I'm the third born. 2. I have two elder sisters, one in Canada and another in the UK. Should I mention them as my siblings also. 3. Should I include their international passport or birth certificates and also where should I include it. Please your guidance is highly needed as I don't want to mess up my second application. Thank you. |

YesLadyN: Quick question pls: Is the passport stamped in Abuja or it goes to Accra? It goes to Nairobi. Thats why Abuja is actually faster. If you send to lagos, vsf lagos sends it to abuja, then from abuja to Nairobi. After stamping all passports return to Abuja, and then to lagos. |
