Something of sort happened to me recently. My girl that has been disturbing me that we shd get married and that the doctor advised her to go into child bearing early because of the lump discovered in one of her breast. I told her we shd do our introduction in 4months time and that she shd take care of food for like 10-15 family members of both sides and I will take care of every other thing of about 100k cost. Can you believe she said she doesn't have abt 15k to cater for abt 15 folks Max with about 4 months away and she buys Aso-ebi of 10k at least once every month. She told me if I can't handle the whole expenses I shd forget the introduction for now. kwara is a sort of hybrid. The southern kwarans are related to us yoruba. They have oba and speak a language that is almost our own but they see themseseves different from us and i dont know why. Central kwarans including ilorin was once under oyo control but the modern ilorin was founded and owned by the fulani hence they have an emir. Northern kwarans are hausas and nupes. A non yoruba may confuse kwara as yorubaland because of the language but most of the indigenes are fulani hausa and nupe by blood hence it is a northern state. So op, we never claimed kwara as yorubaland.

OP. Why do you enjoy tormenting these guys?

The annoying part is that Lagos has always been developed since colonial days. A thread was put out showing some monuments in Lagos before independence like the Tinubu square, TBS etc. Oil was discovered in 1967 or there abt oil production started after the civil war in 1970-1971 after the war and the capital was moved to Abuja since 1991 so Oil money was only used to develop Lagos for 20yrs. The city has existed for more than half a century long before oil was discovered. You can say Abuja was built from scratch with Oil money but not Lagos.

2.3billion naira for abt 50 people (the Ministers ,the Presidency, INEC Chairman and co ) in a year,that is not too much now. So these wailers expect the President and his crew of 50 people to be earning 18,000 naira minimum wage? When some players in the Banking and Oil industry make more than that. Give them Break jare

For you information I used to live in the UK, I did my masters programme there, my Sister, her husband, my Nephew, my uncle are all British citizens so I know all these things so you will not be the one to lecture me on the UK mortgage system
