RomanceRe: Help!!! My Girlfriend And My Sister Are Enemies... I Need Advice Urgently by bakynes(m): 4:52am On Jan 21, 2016
OP @ Jayhumble listen to me and listen good. Don't you ever listen to those ladies that made the first few comments telling you everyone has a past. Your sister knew your gf's bf back in school and they were in a serious rship but she left him for a guy that has money. It is a serz issue from the past that can repeat itself in the future but notwithstanding people change for good. But I doubt that she has changed because of the kind of statement she made to your sister " if you don't want me to marry your brother let me know so I can marry someone else" this tells you she might even have multiple people she is dating.

Best thing to do now is to hold the plans for any wedding and pretend like you are having financial crisis for a few months that is the only way you can find out if she has truly changed but if you go ahead to marry her without doing this, you might just wake up one day to realize, she has left you and 3 kids because things are no longer too rosy for you.

You don't know what is happening in the world. Do you know how many far right organisations in Ameica are calling for Obamas head the destruction of the USA? Do you know how many anti-Monachist are calling for the head of the queen in Britain? I even once saw on CNN people in a park close to Buckingham palace openly call for the queens death in front of the British Police . During the war in Iraq, British Muslims regularly held protest marches in London calling for the bombing of Britain, the introduction of sharia law and terrorism in Britain because of Britains involvement in the war. All of these things are on YouTube and online. Nobody was arrested because by law, they are entitled to say those things. As for racism, in the Nigerian context, I don't think we have any laws as regards that since Nigeria is almost 100% black.

Nnandi Kanu is allowed under his right of free speech to say anything he likes. A person cannot be convicted in any democratic country for what they say with their mouth, they can only be convicted by their actions.
Be reasonable here, freedom of speech is still restricted. So if I say I will bomb the US and kill everybody in the state of California on radio or TV. You don't think the next minute I will be talking to the FBI. When you threaten the state that's not freedom of speech anymore. If he had called Nigeria a zoo or Buhari a terrorist that can still be pardonable but when you threaten to take a section of a sovereign nation away to from another country and threaten its citizens by saying you will procure arms to fight her then my brother that is an issue of urgent National security.

My friend don't lie to me cause you want to justify Kanu's action. Nobody will ever threaten to kill the Queen of England or the prime Minister or preach for a succession from the UK unconstitutionally and walk about the street free. People protest against the action of the British Government on the street of Westminster everytime but will never threaten the Prime minister.

You call that free speech, Go to America or the UK and threaten their prime Minister or threaten to bring in guns to fight them and see if it's free speech. Ordinary Racist comments on social platforms they pick you up. You think it's coz our government here gives us free hand to say anything we like, you think that's how it is done everywhere all in the name of free speech.

1.you operate a pirate radio station
2. You told your listeners to contribute money to procure arms against the zoo.
3. You called the President of the zoo a terrorist
4. You said the zoo will fall before the end of 2015

Should I go on.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Threatens Niger Delta Militants, Says Defeating Them Won’t Be Tough by bakynes(m): 6:34am On Jan 20, 2016
I cause all you supporting these Militants, it's obvious we have enemies within us that call themselves Nigerians, just because you don't like the president, just because he is Fulani and a Muslim. You want him to fail, forgetting that if he fails we all go down. Wake up Elections are over, support this Govt. These Militant are not fighting for Good roads, well equipped hospitals, jobs for the people of the ND, they are fighting to be paid huge sum of money for doing nothing even though the FG still pays them Amnesty money. So who in his right senses will be supporting these guys. The problem of these country is corruption, you have the NDDC, the Ministry of ND,Royalties from Oil Majors been paid to Oil producing communities, 13% derivatives paid to state Govt's of ND thereby making them get the biggest allocations. Whatelse do you want, go and hold your Minister and Governors they are the real problem.

There are Joint Venture (JV) Contracts and Profit Sharing (PS) Contracts. You need to confirm the JV ratio again. Whatever the contracts, I'm sure it's not 65%. It's either an average of 51% or 59%.
Ok maybe thats the old figure will have to cross-check, but you know we don't pay the IOC's in cash we pay them in Oil.
BusinessRe: Nigeria’s Oil Fields Face Shutdown Amid Price Slump by bakynes(m): 9:05am On Jan 19, 2016
Bevista:
I want to believe that the differential between cost and revenue is profit. Nigeria earns 51% of that profit through the Profit Sharing Contracts (PSCs) it has with IOCs.
---
The Oil revenue of ~880bn in the budget was based on this 51% of profit. If that profit goes down, Nigeria's revenue goes down proportionally too.
It's called Joint Venture partnership and I think it's btw 65% to state owned Oil company ( NNPC) and 35% IOC. Both sell their oil to different customers. They don't sell together and share the profit in that percentage ratio you mentioned.

PoliticsRe: Is Lagos A No-man's Land? by bakynes(m): 8:04pm On Jan 18, 2016
Even the Lagos state today is not the Colony of Lagos of Old. Lagos was expanded the likes of Ikorodu, Epe is owned by my people Ijebu. The mainland of Lagos state today was not part of Colony of Lagos. Most part of Lagos state was taken from the Western region which we all clearly know is Yorubaland. The Colony of Lagos was just the small area of Ikoyi, Marina and Victoria Island. These lands were the sea area where so many people came to trade and catch fish to sell. And it is well documented the Awori's, ijebu's and Egba people traded on that island. Before the Oba of Benin, a descendant of Oduduwa took over the island. So what of the Ikeja, Ipaja, Surulere, Ikorodu, Ketu etc are all Yoruba words, the Oba of Lagos when we gained independence is Oba Adeniji- Adele does that igbo to you so what really justifies igbos calling Lagos a No Man's land.

I just laugh @ Lord, he doesn't know you cannot fight government no matter how much billions you have acquired. Worse come to worst the whole Country will suffer for the oil facilities destroyed and I can tell you it's the ND that will suffer for it the most coz your land will be the war zone, your only source of livelihood is Oil other regions have other things they are into. When I just read some comments of IPOB/PDP sympathizers, I just wonder the kind of upbringing these fellows have, you mean you prefer Militants and greedy politicians having Billions of naira to youths having jobs, good health care system and Good roads etc. Just because you don't like a president cause he is a Muslim and comes from the North. Tompolo is not bigger than Nigeria, Tompolo is not mightier than the FG of Nigeria. If Buhari orders his Arrest, they will get him out at all cost even if it means carrying a multiple Air strike on the creeks.

Must igbos be part of APC? I don't understand your anger or propaganda. APC will not rule nigeria forever. What the igbos just need is to be more organized. As far as am concern there are bad people in APC and there are also bad people in PDP. PDP or whatever party must leaarn to be in opposition. A better nigeria need a ruling party and an opposition party. That is the way it is in any democratic setting
Fine it is our wish for a strong opposition party like PDP but must you igbos put all your eggs in one basket why can't you be more liberal like the SW, the Middle belt and Edos who vote for both parties and don't attach any ethnic or religious sentiments but vote based on who they think will serve them better. Like Pentium Pro said igbos are no different from the Hausa-Fulani's both of y'all still vote based on religion and tribe.

So this truly happened. I keep saying that the average Igbo is not in anyway different from the Muslim fanatics in the North (those one calls those against their religion Infidels the way the Easterners calls the muslims anti-Christ) when it comes to issues of religion hatred for the opposite religion.

Religion dogmatism is highly prevalent in the Core North and SE, thus there is no way these two people can have peaceful co-existence
That is why you just have to respect the Yorubas, Edos and the Middle belt people they voted both the PDP and APC in at least 60-40 percent ratio. As for the SE, the core North and SS( aside Edo) they simply voted based on religion and tribe. The SE voted in 90 PDP 10 APC ratio, the SS voted in 85 PDP 15 APC ratio and Core North voted in 75 APC PDP 25 ratio.

My friend Its called "WAR" not a tea party, people will definitely die, is unfortunate you lost the War and 3 million lives we're gone with it. It was a War the Nigerian Nation never wanted but we're forced into. I could remember the clip of the video from Aburi Accord in Ghana. Gowon was laughing and trying to socialize but Ojukwu was not just interested, he was just frowning his face. That to me was a proof Gowon never wanted it but Ojukwu was stubborn.

Yes he won't be there forever but he seems to be the only person out of all our leaders who have the interest of the masses at heart. If his mission is to be a dictator that will clean up the system and make new laws that will be strictly enforced that will benefit the good people of Nigeria then leave it to a democrat to continue the system will work. If we had practised strict enforcement of law in Nigeria and a people's constitution form the start of democracy we wldnt have been in this mess.

I am saying that dictatorship in its entirety is evil and bad, pure and simple! You don't take an expired product, change the dates and pronounce it good.. it is rotten in and of itself! That is my opinion and my response to the question.
You might see it as a bad dictatorship but every country needs a very firm, incorruptible leader at a time like this in Nigeria where our leaders just want to loot our future away. Am sure some people like you must have opposed a Lee Kwan yeuw ( pardon the spelling) in singapore who also came at a bad time to rescue his people from bad leadership. We need a leader like Buhari at this stage am sure that was his intention when he came to power in the military era but people thought he was too harsh but he had good intention to clean up the misconduct and the corruption in the second republic. If you know you did not steal from the National Treasury, you have nothing to fear about it is only thieves that fear Buhari . If you have a good dictator his mission will only be to come clean up the system, set up a constitution for the people, a system that works for the people and leave not be a president for life. It is only bad dictators who want to die there.

When u say Arab countries don't practice democracy remember they are mostly same people with same beliefs and tribes. In other words the majority are muslim so they comfortablypractice sharia.

Libya had things in place but remember his leadership wad one in perpetuity for over 30yrs n counting. It was run almost like a family business with his daughter for instance, the sole importer of Mercedes vehicles and all.

Understand that these countries you refer to have always practiced this system so the people don't know any different. A place where females are subjugated in all respects...can that happen in Nigeria?

Nigeria is a lumping of distinct nations into one. From time immemorial there has been a running battle especially among major tribes so how do u expect that others will knuckle down to autocratic dictates from one who isn't the same as them? Nigeria had tasted democracy though adulterated and u can be sure that no one can suddenly arrogate unto himself the power to be judge, jury and executioner without stiff resistance.

For decades past, people have always wanted their distinct identity, case in point-Biafra. Given to a republican way of governance in its traditions, how do u expect a dictatorship to work without crises? Is it not obvious some will be more favoured and superior than others? That will certainly not make Nigeria better because discrimination will be rife without measure and it will be the norm. Can u live with that? Ur response to this question will only be in the affirmative if u are a muslim from the North or Western part of Nigeria.

Let's not encourage what will cause more harm in the long run in the name of fighting corruption.
Brother you have not said anything enough to convince me. That is why I said a Good God-fearing dictator because I don't see Democracy working for us. This people at the top have given themselves power. Let us create a people's constitution this people called Legislators no gree cause the Constitution the Military wrote favours their lootocrazy , Ok let's revert back to regional govt or resource control them still no gree cause it will not allow to enjoy this present benefit they are enjoying and the power to change these laws is in their hands so who will now save us from them now.
