2."Reconstruction of most Federal Roads - Starting from Lagos Ibadan"

Why must he start from Lagos Ibadan? Why not say Calabar- Katsina ala?
I just don't know why tribalism has blocked many of you peoples reasoning.
You should know Lagos - Ibadan is the busiest Federal road in Nigeria. The number of Vehicles and Traffic on that road is crazy. On any Minister of works list Lagos- ibadan should be the topmost priority followed by Apapa - Oshodi that's the road where 80% of Tankers and trailers passed through that brings in fuel and imported products to you in SE or SS next is the second Niger Bridge and then the East - West road.

I observed that nine ministers are without portfolios. Why one person occupy 3 ministries. Honestly, human resources was not optimally utilized. PMB, plz take note.
I don't understand what some of you mean by some don't have portfolios. Not everyone can be a substantive Minister. Some Ministries have been merged together cause of Hard Economic Times and some where given Minister of State according to my count everyone has been placed in a ministry. So what exactly do you mean by some are without portfolios.

Raskasal:
Why should this be celebrated in Nigeria? What is the stand of British government in Nigeria today? How have they helped The economy? And security wise, what have they offered to strengthen the government against Boko Haram and other menace. Now we are celebrating them in our motherland. We didn't even celebrate the US government that has been by us all these while. This is absolutely rubbish. Our government need to rethink and take its stand on its citizens.
Sorry to insult you but stop acting like a mumu and use your brain. Can't you see that it's the British Diplomats in Nigeria that are celebrating their Remembrance day as it is done today in Britain.Did you see Buhari or any Nigerian Govt official there except maybe a representative from the Federal Govt.

In as much as i want freedom of governernance for IPOB,i want the region to please show a credible map of the section they want away because more than often biafra always include some tribes that do not want to be called biafra, this is part of why the first seccession attempt failed.I think it is not a crime to legally seek to secceed but the whole process should be clean and not be a scam. Please post a unanimous map of the biafra region and let the states included agreed to secceession with this the task is half done.
The Governors and federal lawmakers of the state that wants join biafra should agree to it and organize a referendum within themselves. The igbos and the minority tribes. If the major percentage of the minority tribe agree to join and the major percentage of igbos agree then let them forward their case to the UN. But without the state governors and lawmakers to agree on this matter then the biafran agitation is dead on arrival.

alablec:
Yes but in Africa we don't have such, always wars- Ethiopia, Sudan, etc; there should be referendum among Igbos and if they said yes to Biafra then they should have it.

Meanwhile there are two fears that will cause fatal war than the last one, 1. Igbo want South South or part of it 2. Nigerian govt knows that there will be agitations for independence from other groups once Biafra succeeded.

Moreover Igbo are not really prepared for the consequences of having Biafra rather than the emotional and sensational agitation; the governments in the States that would become Biafra should be incorporated into the whole thing rather than banking on businesslike individuals without pedigree unlike Ojukwu, who was Eastern gov and his people asked him to declare the last war; start voting in supporters of Biafra and most especially start relocating their major businesses to Biafra because there would definitely be war except if the declaration will be for the five Southeastern states.
Exactly my thoughts, if they want Biafra they must first get all their federal lawmakers and Governors to support Biafra and Denounce Nigeria. Then negotiations for referendum can begin. If not nobody will take them seriously.

I agree with the fact that the population has effects on PH than Enugu with far less Population but the Govt of Rivers is very lazy. The need to constantly come up with Environmental Sanitation programs, create Traffic control agencies, road planning etc. Lagos has more population than PH but it has all these programs in place to keep things in Check. I think the comparism with PH and Enugu will be justified, if the Population of Enugu is like that of PH that way we can see which Govt is more hardworking and responsible.

You can barely see a six lane road in port Harcourt (only some section of aba road, along garrison and waterline), roads in port Harcourt are as tiny as hell and yet you tell me port Harcourt has more infrastructure, please tell that to those Yoruba boys that barely travel.
I agree with you on these but I be Yoruba boy and I dey travel well. PH is over hyped. Most of the roads is a two lane road no drainage and gutter. Few traffic light on the roads and the best place they ve got is GRA. Benin City is better than PH. No internal roads in most places except the ones done by NDDC and the ones in GRA. I think it is one of the most corrupt state in Nigeria.

Kano has more population than Port Harcourt, why is ph better than Kano. more population leads to more IGR which should have been used in building the city
I visit PH regularly from Lagos and I must tell you each time am there,I always get disappointed. It's so disorganized at least we know Lagos is rugged but it's still well organized. I think the Rivers State Govt is not using the Large FG allocation and IGR to enforce strict laws on the people like Lagos that's why it's so disorganized.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Be Livable If All State Capitals Can Be Like Enugu-pictures by bakynes(m): 8:16am On Nov 05, 2015
@Menabadoo listen to @Spacetour, stop comparing Enugu to Lagos or PH. Yes I agree Enugu is serene, Lagos and PH is not but you know Enugu has far less population than these two other cities. No pressure on infrastructure. As we know Nigeria, the more population in any city, the more dirty, rugged and more bad roads becomes. Govt will spend more on maintenance than building that's why I tell people stop comparing Lagos to Uyo. Uyo is serene than Lagos since the entire Akwa ibom population is just one LGA in Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Be Livable If All State Capitals Can Be Like Enugu-pictures by bakynes(m): 11:39am On Nov 04, 2015
I think from what have heard, Enugu and Uyo are very serene. But you cannot compare Lagos to these Cities. Just add 5 million people to Enugu and Uyo and see how bad it becomes in one year. The truth is that Lagos houses about 15% population of the whole Nigeria so it can't be serene at all. The infrastructure will have to be constantly maintained unlike the infrastructures in Uyo that can last for many years coz of less population.

The truth about this matter is that Majority of workers in Diamond Bank are igbos very few Yoruba, my sister works with Diamond Bank at the Head office so I know and am yoruba. It is like that in Yoruba owned banks too like GTB, Skye bank and First bank but I think it's more obvious and glaring in Diamond Bank. That's to tell you Tribalism in Nigeria is Legendary.
RomanceRe: The Bitter Truth For Guys Trying To Maintain Distant Relationships by bakynes(m): 9:11am On Oct 21, 2015
The truth is that distance rship is inevitable at some point in a rship or marriage. You or your partner might go for NYSC, Job transfer, or travel abroad for further study or work. Just that it shouldn't take more than 1 year of distance and you should continually make plans to see each other or one party relocating and giving up his/her life to be with the other party.
If for instance you break up with your bf/gf coz of distance and the next girl you meet that stays in the same area with you goes for NYSC, Job transfer or travel abroad for further study or work so you will break up with that one again. You can't stop anybody from pursuing a better future for themselves.

There is something btw Deborah Adeniran (Mr CACOL) and Fashola that they are not telling us. Even when Fashola was Governor this guy kept on criticizing him on the media. Even if Fashola stole money am sure it can't even be up to 10 billion unlike Mr Akpabio a whole 108 billion, if true that man is a wicked man. That money can secure the future of millions of Ibomites.

Let's not be sentimental here "The Pro Biafran warriors wants to leave the Nigeria you help destroyed". Make a Research. how did they help to destroy Nigeria. How many Biafrian has Govern this country. apart from the civil war (Biafra war) how many times has the east been a reason lives are lost in their numbers. we all the the truth but out of hate will be pointing wrong finger. the fulani headsmen are in Rampage is the not, the Boko haram that has left abt 20thousand death are from the not and any other time a particular violence has claim the live of 20 and above you guess where it happened. where did we lost 10 NYSC members in yr 2k and 2k1 you know how many lives that was lost in the north. yet the north has has the lion share when it come to governing this country.
As far as am concerned all tribes destroyed Nigeria. This was and still is how igbos were part of the people who destroyed Nigeria.
1.You were well represented in Obasanjo's and Jonathan's Govt. Your leaders and other leaders from other tribes were corrupt.
2. Some igbos commit crime in Nigeria and travel outside the shores of Nigeria with the Nigerian passport to commit crime. You were not singled out as igbos but as Nigerians, thereby spoiling the reputation of Nigeria.
3. Or is it they fake drugs some igbos produce that kills tens of thousands of people. The fake spare parts that doesn't last and may cause road accidents.
So Mr panel of Judges I hope I have been able to convince you and not confuse you that igbos are part of the people who destroyed the country called Nigeria.

The Pro Biafran warriors wants to leave the Nigeria you help destroyed. What of the various igbo businesses scattered all over the country, you want them to come back to biafra to start soaking Garri. Because if you leave Nigeria, nobody will give u visa and all your properties will be gone. It's not even possible is just some bunch of low life igbos who are frustrated with life that is agitating for Biafra, because in all sense igbos will loose the most. Your houses and Businesses in Nigeria will be gone.

londoner:
It is not about just giving it away. You are throwing words like trade and export around in this thread yet you want Nigeria to give it away.

If you are not being paid for gas you are not exporting or trading.

My issue though is that if Nigeria was owing you and even other Nigerians here would not for one minute suggest they should not just pay up immediately under the agreement. Not just governments but also individual Nigerians when you set tarrifs in Ghana for those who want to trade you accept nothing else but paying up because those are the rules.

Why now are not so resolute now? Is it because it is Ghana that is owing? So now the rules don change for your eye abi? Lol
Exactly, the Govt of Ghana wasn't this lenient with the Nigeria Traders in Tariffs, they asked them to pay immediately or get their shops closed down.

Yes it's true it's not only oil that generates big money but she cannot afford a mansion in Banana Island. Most Mansions there is owned by Billionaires and Multinationals companies. If people like P-square, Dbanj and Don Jazzy cannot afford to buy a House in Banana Island how come Linda is able to. You must be deluded to think anyone makes 36-40 million naira per month and you are not a Nigerian Senator, Governor, Bank CEO or a multinational company director. Is she a billionaire?

PoliticsRe: Akure Markets Shut As Deji, Eze Ndigbo Quarrel- The Nation by bakynes(m): 6:13am On Oct 15, 2015
Most of you igbos have a big problem. Well respect is one part i see missing in your culture. Though I sight some reasonable ones on this thread, there is nothing to support the Eze ndigbo for. I don't think it is done anywhere even aboard for a common man not a king to wear a crown into the presence of a King. The Eze Ndigbo title they give all about the SW ( something they can't try in the core North nor tolerate from another tribe in their land)is just a representation of his people in a foreign land, the person is not a king. I don't know what it is with the igbos that you can't just respect your host community and live by their laws and tradition. If you go to Rome you must behave like a Roman and live by their laws. That is how things are done all over the World, it won't change because of you.

The thing about most Nigerian girls is that they are smart, they know how to make you start doubting your suspicion of them. It will be very evident they are cheating but they will make it look like you are the one who needs to calm down and trust them. Me myself I don mugu too with this issue of ex bf came to do clearance in school has no place to stay nothing happened. That day she stylishly let me return to my house coz I wanted to sleep over on the excuse that, she was going to her friends house to copy lecture notes she misssed and that she will let me know when she is back so I can come back to her flat, na so I wait tire o not knowing the guy don dey her side na so I go there called her out in the night, she don tie towel ready to bath, omo I almost beat her that day, people sha told me to go home. I no fit sleep kept calling in the midnight ran out of credit, borrowed my friends phone kept calling after a while I give up. She came to my place the following day very early as early as 7am to swear with a bible that nothing happened even bleeped me join. So my brother like that Guy said Nigerian girls are not to be trusted. As for me I will not marry any girl below 28 years of age because even if they have messed up themselves before they will act maturely at that age they know what they want no time to be messing around any longer.

@ shymexx Thank you my brother, my fellow Londoner and Yoruba citizen. I have told igbos severally that, the Lagos they say is owned by the Binis was Lagos island and it was reclaimed by the aworis when the Binis left.I told them aside Lagos island all other lands in Lagos is owned by Ijebus, aworis etc. even though I didn't explain it in details like you did, thanks for educating us further. We must open our eyes and be vigilante to the threat from this people(igbos). I even used the Yoruba and Indian MPs in London as an example, does it mean because of them they will start speaking Yoruba or whatever language they speak in Indian.

Now if they say igbos has a 40% Population in Lagos, so the Yorubas who own Lagos are a minorities in Lagos then because we have a sizeable population of Hausas, Binis, Ijaw, Calabar etc in Lagos so Yorubas and the rest of other tribes share the rest of the 60% Population. I laugh out so loud. grin.

Some say igbos developed Lagos, please help me ask them if the past and present Governors of Lagos are igbos, is it the Government that develop a place or the various igbo traders?
Lets just leave them alone, they have opened our eyes and now we shouldn't sleep with our two eyes closed.

Y'all should stop the tribal thing. We all know Lagos is part of Yorubaland and Mr Jude has no right to even raise a motion to oppose the lawmakers on using Yoruba to communicate on Thursdays It's an insult. We all know FESTAC, Isolo, Amuwo- Odofin, Ajegunle is a predominantly igbo area. So if they want a fellow igbo man to represent their interest there then no problem. It's insignificant in the scheme of things. It's normal in civilized climes. In London for instance, they have a Yoruba MP representing the good people of Peckham and Camberwell (predominantly Yoruba). They have an Indian MP representing Balham area which is Predominately Indians and Pakistanis but does that make London a No Man's land? No of course it still belongs to the British that's why an English and a native of London town in the Person of Boris Johnson is the Mayor of London. They own houses and help in developing the city. Igbos online know the truth, they are just trying to get on your nerves so relax my people just keep an eye on them but know they definitely have their eyes on taking over Lagos from us.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Cut Gas Supply To Ghana Over Indebtedness by bakynes(m): 6:59am On Oct 14, 2015
K4:
Fool, listen and listen good. First of all, Ghana does NOT buy gas from the shitnigerian government. It is a purely commercial transaction between a private company in your shitty country called N-Gas, which buys the gas from producers such as Chevron, Shell and ship it to Ghana,Togo etc. I am a guru in the oil n gas industry and I know everything that goes in in the industry.

2nd, the so-called $180 M is peanuts for a country like Ghana whose annual budget exceeds $10 billion. $180 million can't even sustain Ghana for 6 hours.

3, Ghana has started receiving gas from its own Jubilee field, amounting to some 150 MM scf/d. This is far more than the 120MM scf/d that Ghana receives from your country on a good day, under existing contract.

As at today, Ghana has excess gas it cant even use due to lack of plant capacity. My gut feeling is that Ghana doesn't need nigerian gas for now and having N-Gas cut gas supplies will simply save the country from paying for a product it cant even use!
What a fool and a big liar you are, for your information I am a practising Petroleum Engineer in my Country Nigeria. With degrees in the UK, which Oil and Gas expert are you? in a non recognized Oil producing nation like Ghana? Fool like you can you compare the Oil and Gas sector in Ghana to that of Nigeria. Even 10 billion dollars is about half of Nigeria's annual budget so where did small country Ghana get an annual budget that exceeds 10 billion dollars. I will name 5 states in Nigeria whose annual Budget is more than that of Ghana. If you like don't believe the report that's your business. I have already left the thread since two days back, y'all Ghanaians can keep deluding yourselves with lies after we ve left.
