TravelRe: Experiences Of Nigerians Living In London by bakynes(m): 6:50pm On Apr 29, 2016
Peckham is sure South East London SE 19 or thereabout. To the topic, yes many who studied in the UK in the 80's and early 90's have good white collar jobs like my Bro In law, a consultant who works for croydon council, is a British Citizen( which through him my sister got hers) has two houses in the UK and he is paying his mortagage and renting out. So many Nigerians too are doing quite well. Many whom didnt come there to study in the 80/90's just settle for Blue collar jobs that pays well though. The British Govt is damn serz abt their immigration policies and particularly target Africans( not blacks in generally) and Pakistanis/indians. I myself went there to study and wld have wished to stay but had to leave after my studies because of their emphasis on illegal immigrant, didnt want to be running with my heart on my hands. All in all it is a beautiful city and the most cosmopolitant city in the world, you can find a sizeable number of persons from all countries there.

OP so on point i knew this long before now anyway. Most girls always have back up that she places on the same level as a Main guy. Once age comes to play and she needs to get married she just picks the one that is ready and better financially stable and the rest of them guys will be like " She don leave me go marry one rich man". This happened to a friend of mine, as soon as her mother asked ' whats the wedding plans btw you and my daughter' and niccur said Mummy am not ready yet, two months later babe do wedding o with another guy. Make any guy no think say na only hin dey date hin babe. Men just keep one babe and a host of sarewagba no emotions attached but girls love you as much as they love the other guys.

Thats not ALWAYS true. My wife earns more than me but i dey show her who be the boss. I paid for all the marriage expenses both traditional and church, i pay for the house rent in abuja, The only thing i dont do most of the time naa to bring food money because i work in Lagos and she works in abuja, so I spend a lot travelling to abuja. She dey squeeze face sha ooo but i no send am, that naa her own contribution after all na she dey chop the food.
Thats why i said "most" not all, yours might not be that she is significantly richer than you. Maybe you earn 150k she earns 300k that is still ok, why not try marrying a wife who earns 3 million per month and you earn 70k, that is if she is not ugly, disabled nor desperate for a husband. Also watch out when children start coming into the picture.

Most Women cannot handle been successful or richer than their husband especially African Women. A big lesson to all Men, marry a richer and a better succesful woman at your own peril and die in anger and bitterness for the rest of your life.

And some fools believe we must not beat our wives. People like Teebillz are the type of people that used to say "i'll never raise my hands on a woman". Now,woman is disgracing him around and sent him out, instead he begged.
A wife must not lack anything, give her everything, give her enough money, enough lovemaking, enough love and care, enough gift and if she messes up,give her enough slap, buy koboko elenu meji and whip her whenever she bleeps up cos women will always Bleep up,but once you have something she fears at a corner, she'll talk to her senses by herself. Be very tolerant but beat her once in a while whenever she bleeps up. But not the type of beating that would lead her to hospital, but the koboko or belt whipping is necessary.
It's high time we men start beating our girlfriends and wives,if they can't stand it,they can go,women are getting spoiled, lets re-shape them
Many folks some male and female wont agree with this post but there is a point or two we can pick out of your post. You see our fore fathers that treat women as second fiddle to the scheme of things, must have see something abt women. Besides God that placed men as the provider and women as the home carer know what he was doing. Now the white men have distorted this arrangement and the institution of marriage is now threatened. Many women are now getting more paid jobs than men. So peole brace up for civlization has finally distorted the structures of God.

I didn't mention Europeans in my previous comments and trouser and shirt did not jump into a subsaharan culture originally known for tying woven wrappers, till tomorrow, there are ancient pictures of yoruba men tying wrapper all over the net.
My point is that Trousers in whichever form are not originally Sub saharan, they were borrowed from non African cultures and adapted as a native attire.
If Yoruba can claim trouser which was influenced by non Africans, then Other Nigerian cultures that have come in contact with non African will equally claim trouser as a native attire.
You are just assuming, show me a Yoruba man dressed in his native attire dressed in a wrapper. Dig out the internet for pictures and show it to me. Just so you know another form of trouser yorubas wear is a bubu type of trouser that is more like a 3/4 trouser but never see any ancient yoruba man wear wrapper.

Ihuomadinihu:
Lol. There is no sub saharan culture that didn't start off using wrapper before progressing to shirts and trouser.
Bubu, shirts, trouser and whatever you choose to call them are direct items of a borrowed culture resulting from contacts with non African people.
Kaftan like shirts worn by Malians, yoruba and hausa are largely influenced by Arabic invaders in pre history.
The original sub saharan African attire consist of woven wrappers before heavy contact with other people.
Yorubas, hausas and the rest cannot claim trousers and shirts, infact no one can!
You have to careful and informed before yarning rubbish!
You are wrong by saying Yorubas cannot claim trousers, our own type of trousers is just not like the White man's own, it is tight fitted at the ankle end of the trouser and we use inner rope to tight fit it at the waist level and i believe he is right native igbo attire for men is wrapper not trouser.

I have said this countless number of times in this country, all you can do is shout and shout and shout nothing will change unless we are ready to fight and die for this change. This country needs a blood revolution. My people dey fear dem no wan die. Lots of countries dont even accept up to a quarter of what will accept from our government before they revolt.

FamilyRe: Is It Right For Married People To Go Clubbing ??? by bakynes(m): 2:22pm On Apr 13, 2016
Married couples clubbing together is allowing the devil into ur midst. Its fun but what if you leave your wife's presence and before you come back some guy is already trying to molest your wife it will lead to a fight in the club or ur wife goes to the ladies and some lady gives you a seductive dance and passes u a paper with her number on it, isnt dat temptation. There are other decent ways to have fun as a married couple like going to the cinema, beach, bowling, eatery, parties etc but not clubbing
RomanceRe: Pls Can Anyone Tell Me Why Ladies Are Much More Than Guys. by bakynes(m): 8:37am On Apr 12, 2016
Its not so glaring in all countries. In Nigeria for example the Population of Men is as much as the Female population. If not why do you think Nigerian women still do yanga to men. In some countries you dont go true much stress to have a woman. I heard in Spain its more glaring the female population is more than that of men.

RomanceRe: "No Matter What She Says To You, You Have No Right To Hit Her" Says Who? by bakynes(m): 12:20pm On Apr 11, 2016
It seems most of you dont know what they call aggreviated anger. I was once in such a situation, i always say no matter what a woman does never lay ur hands on her, my mother kept ringing that line in my head as i grew up.
When i was dating my ex gf she's got hot temperement, she slaps me in public, rains abuses and curses on me, tore my tshirt in public halfway most of the times cause she sees me talking to another girl.Despite all this i never touched her. I always told her i want to be friends with my woman i dont want to show any domineering attitude to any woman am with, maybe that made her see me as weak towards a woman. So on one day cause of a little misunderstanding, i got back to my place and met my clothes on the floor outside in the mud cause it rained, i didnt know what infuriated me that day, i just removed my belt and started usng it on her before my neighbours stopped me. So dont judge any man if you havent been in his position as regards such woman as mine. Am sure most of you would ask me why didnt i leave the rship, i didnt leave because she begged me serzly and gave me great sex but after i used my belt on her, it was the last i ever saw her till date even though we still chat once in a while on social platforms..

EducationRe: Proliferation Of First Class Degrees In Private Varsities The PUNCH by bakynes(m): 2:07pm On Apr 08, 2016
I agree with people from the Public Universities. Why? Some time ago i read online of how convenant university produced 400 first class graduates in one graduating year out of about a thousand graduating student. To me thats way to much. First class is not that easy to achieve certainly not about 40% of graduating student. I studied in public uni here in Nigeria and had a masters degree in the UK,in my class of about 50 students we had just 2 students that graduated with distinction ( Equivalent to First class in the Bachelors category). I agree some students from the private uni are as brilliant as those in the public uni and study under a much condusive environment of learning but the numbers of first class student been produced year in year out makes first class degree look like a joke.

Oga dont try to deceive us, he will be buried in the christian way by the state Govt. Ogboni will never announce to the public about their burial plans. This man is not a muslim that will be wrapped in white material so why is the family not observing the lying- in- state for a popular politician for people to pay their last respect. This man is not dead.
PoliticsRe: Family Announces Alamiyeseigha's Funeral Arrangements by bakynes(m): 8:33am On Apr 04, 2016
Why wait for 6 months to bury this man, is not like money is the problem. The state govt will even be responsible for the burial. This man did not die, the UK asked for his extradiction when Jona was president but he refused. He knows if the UK request for his extradiction again PMB will hand him over thats the reason for faking his death. They waited this long to perfect the plan of his burial.
PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Abandons N140bn 2nd Niger Bridge by bakynes(m): 8:43pm On Mar 31, 2016
I am tired trying to convince some igbos about Buhari. Just look at some of them saying it is because Buhari hates ndigbo dats why the second niger bridge was stopped. For God sake the budget has not been passsed and the project is already among the projects of the Ministry of Power, works and Housing.
One even said its the most important construction project in Nigeria, what of Apapa- Oshodi and Lagos - ibadan expressway are they not more important than this 2nd Niger Bridge.

So most of these igbos shd stop been sentimental and face real issues
PoliticsRe: Power Generation Falls To 2,030MW by bakynes(m): 11:48am On Mar 31, 2016
The solution to this pipeline vandalism is very simple;
1.Just get a few units of small drones or robot insects with camera function that is controlled by security operatives.

2.Get the insects patrolling the pipeline area and have a standby unit of security operatives to arrest vandals as soon as they attempt vandalizing the pipelines.

3.Like someone suggested get stiffer punishment for pipeline vandals.

I dont know why our leaders are so lazy to think.

This guy na Joker, how can you say the Oil in Ondo belongs to Delta. You need to reason with your brain o, since both Delta and Ondo are close to each other then it's only normal some of the oil reserves in Delta will fall into Ondo. When is not like the people of Delta came with Oil from heaven. Oil can form anywhere, oil is been discovered in different parts of the world from time to time.
