Career / How Does One Join The U.S Army For Person Still In Nigeria? by Balenciagabrain: 1:44am On Jul 14, 2021 |
I know of people that lived almost all their lives in Nigeria but ended up in the U.S Army. I am wondering how possibly the opportunity to enrolled and be called up can come within the reach of persons dreaming to become part of the US Army but currently resident in Nigeria. |
Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu To Lose His British Citizenship - Kemi Olunloyo by Balenciagabrain: 12:22am On Jul 10, 2021 |
Coldshisha:Once established that someone is involved in any acts of terrorism (which the Nigerian government has tactful declared IPOB a terrorist group), the international community takes it very seriously. Even if the person has any western citizenship. First is that you're barred entry into the UK and US especially. Then it's very agreeable that you be prosecuted. MNK is in a real pot of soup. He knows it too. 1 Like |
Jobs/Vacancies / Is It Acceptable To Apply For More Than One Position In A Vacancy Placement? by Balenciagabrain: 12:51pm On Jun 20, 2021 |
Am I right to think that perhaps one of the reasons some people don't get shortlisted for the next stage after application is indecisiveness. I mean, is it right to apply for more than a position in same vacancy advertisement by an organization especially if he is qualified. Or is that another smart way of boosting your chances to get called up? |

Politics / Should We Not Use Block Chain Technology For Our Election? by Balenciagabrain: 11:57pm On May 16, 2021 |
I strongly believe that the Genesis of Nigeria's progress must start with getting it right in our type of system for choosing our leaders. This is because I also believe that until the people can hold elected leaders accountable, these leaders cannot opt to put the interest of their electorates at heart. Thanks to changing times, emerging technologies continue to help solve many of the problems that owe to human inadequacy in order to create better outcomes. One of these emerging innovations has turned out to be block chain technology that seeks to relinquish these inadequacies as a result of human subjugations perhaps. Bitcoin technology offers the advantage of allowing consensus results which I see would be of good use for struggling democracy like Nigeria. I think that if we can employ this system which relies on the participants to produce outcomes we would go a step further in producing good leadership. A man said that everything rises and falls on leadership, therefore we should not relent in trying out possibilities. Except there are insights to block chain technology that makes this suggestion a bad idea. I am really interested to know why we cannot go for it! 1 Like |
Programming / Is C++ Still A Relevant Programming Language Today? by Balenciagabrain: 11:01pm On May 06, 2021 |
Hello, May I kindly get your candid opinions? I recently am pitching for I.T which I am having problem with choosing which language to go for but I finally considering to settle for C++. I hope I am not going for what may have become outdated. Besides, may I also know more specifics about C++... I would be very much grateful for your kindness. 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: The Sycophants In Buhari’s Government By Aladesohun Sola by Balenciagabrain: 7:26pm On Apr 21, 2021 |
When President Buhari emerged Head of State in 2015, people heaved a sigh of relief from poverty and corruption. States that felt marginalised saw life through rose-coloured spectacles, armed with the belief that the ‘change’ and ‘restructuring’ promise would bring good tidings. Big lie from the pit of hell. You are number one sycophant, as a matter of fact! The very people knew beforehand that Buhari is nothing but a dunk of shiet! That's why they remain resolute that never would they sugarcoat their opinion about him. I personally have never seen a person so apathetic to even his own person. 1 Like |

This George Floyd case gives my mixed feelings because it's not like that would bring Tue end to racial profiling and brutality. Just a scapegoat being made of someone for what looks like a political propaganda which has to end ostensibly just. |

Culture / Who Else Noticed Google Celebrated Late Oliver D'coque? by Balenciagabrain: 12:12am On Apr 15, 2021 |
In the light of the thoughtfulness of google to celebrate a legend, Oliver D'Coque, I also noticed that there has now become a trend that many Igbo musicians are do more of highlife music. No doubt, it seems more profitable considering the many traditional events that demand for this genre of music to suit their occasion. Nevertheless, the big vacuum left by the likes of Osita Osadebe, the Oriental Brothers and Oliver D'Coque seems ever unmatched! Their voices continue to speak wisdom and truth to remind us of how much music today has lost value and essence. |

Greetings, Kindly help me with your sincere opinions. I'm a health professional and I plan for the opportunity to leave Nigeria to overseas where there I presume have well paying jobs. At same time, just recently landed the opportunity to work in a Federal teaching hospital. Should I continue with my plans to leave to overseas or better to keep the Federal job in Nigeria? Thank you in anticipation. 11 Likes |
