It seems I now where jumia problem lies

I was also a victim this particular phone brand mine was homtom 17pro I also bought it on jumia black Friday around that March, only for the phone to develop battery issue just because I used my other tecno charger to charge it........ You won't believe I can't find the phone battery everywhere in lag....... This is also a phone I used for just 2 months



I think jumia is encouraging sub standard product on their site all in the name of black Friday


If they know they can't slash prices of good mobile product then they should keep quiet and stop luring people like Op to their shabby offer

One thing i observed is that many of you don't read everything on Jumia page before making orders, you are only interested in the amount. Under every item you will see if there is warranty or not, possibly because you are not familiar with the site.

I have seen many complaints here already, though i have solved the issue for the very few that contacted me, especially, those with refund issue.

I will advice that if you don't know about Jumia thoroughly it is better to use a sales consultant.

I am not advertising myself or anything here, it only pains me seeing complaints upon complaints, i can only solve those within timeline.

I will always tell you the advantage/disadvantages of whatever you want to buy from us, your money isn't the issue here but your satisfaction, some other agents might be interested in your money though and not the quality service, i am more than that.

wow. information is good. A lot of people don't know that there are good phones as cheap as these ones. They believe that cheap phones are bad but that's not the case, the prices are really worth it for an average user. if you then want higher performing phones you know where to look

Yes and No. Yes because some that are not familiar with reading about something of this nature don't know. No because many knew about such phones but don't want to buy then because of warranty issue and their scarce part even if you decide to repair. Those that buy such devices do so at their own risk. I usually advice my customers thoroughly about such phones before conclusions on making the order because i don't want to be held responsible after the 7 days return Jumia gives in case any strange thing happens.

But with what you have said here it is obvious it is the network, not your phone.

On a normal day, when you set your device to 3G alone where it is not available the network will disappear, this is why automatic mode or 2G/3G/4G is a wonderful option where the phone select the available network. Nothing is wrong with your phone base on what you have said.

Please don't say they are scam as regards your experience as the response might be correct, or you think dubious people or agents cannot use thecard and put that seal again, what cannot happen in Nigeria.

I have been looking for a phone to buy.
And going throug Jumia, I have seen some phones with great specs at very affordable prices.
The problem is that most of them are shipped from overseas, therefore, there is no pay on delivery option on them.
I would want to know your experiences ordering products from overseas on the platform and paying prior to delivery because I have trust issues.

Well, let me tell you that there are many people who have trust issues, i don't usually blame them whenever i tell customers that your order requires payment before completion and they say they are no more interested. In fact, i receive such response on daily basis since i became jumia sales consultant, but i understand it is the kind of fraudulent environment we find ourselves that is causing such reaction. i have said this time unnumbered that because the exact one that was sold toyou isn't good doesn't mean every of such product is bad. Errors with some particular phones can also affect that of Samsung or even iphone, even a brand new car can develop fault the next day. Tecno wx3 is a good and pocket friendly device, one thing is that your pocket determines the device you buy. For those saying the specifications is not really good, do you think everyone don't like better thing? We all have to consider our pocket before making choice.

Not that i cannot help you, my problem with many people especially those that contact me through nairaland for complaint of this type is that when i ask for the account details including the first 6 digits and last 4 digits of the ATM, acc num, acc name, acct type that was used for payment in order to assist fight for their refund they will start telling you stories of how their account details can be used for fraud, and it just pains me because in the first place you didn't make order through me, i only want to help and i will use my resources to fight for your refund as i am closer to Jumia and a big marketer for that matter. If you can trust me enough just chat me up.

It is more than 7 days already. You have to go repair it. That is one big reason i usually advice my customers to not go for such phones because of warranty. Warranty doesn't cover such phones. Even if you buy in physical market such issue occurs too, they will only refer you to the location the warranty will cover it for repair.

One thing i want you people to know is this, Jumia isn't a scam. Fine, there might be delay in your refund but the truth is that you will get it. The delay this period is the long black friday, and it will only get better each day as almost all issues as regarding black friday have been responded to.

In case you want to make order through Jumia just try my service and experience the difference, i don't even think there is anyone who contacted me for complaint that i did not respond to and assisted despite the fact that they did not make the order through me.

Not that we don't know. You can only obey that when you are sure of power supply 24/7, not in most parts of this side of the world, if battery spoil we will order another or get it fixed somehow.
