i was in a bank at ijebu-ode when the argument started whether or not to create ijebu state. Later it developed to the argument of who speaks yoruba between ijebu and oyo, i was shocked when sentiment came to the party, the ijebu's in the bank said they speak the real yoruba while the few oyo's in the bank claimed to be the real yoruba speaker. Please i want nairalanders to give a say about this argument. |

"I have a lot of respect for my country (Nigeria). I will always honour the invitation if called upon. I never said I will not play for Nigeria, I was misunderstood. People should always wait to hear from me personally" Osaze Odemwingie said today during a telephone conversation with sports radio, Brilla FM Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, revealed to Supersports last week that Osaze told him he no longer wants to play for the National team because of the way he was treated in the past. He explained that prior to Nigeria's participation at the 2010 Fifa World Cup, he played in all the qualifying games but was dropped at the finals. |

DexxyAlebs: Prof Saburi Adejimi Adesanya (OAU's former DVC) of OOU (osu) is setting pace here, we students believe we attend the NEW OOU, He created some avenues to report admin staff asking for money when it's their job to do, nw lecturers beg us for classes, exam would end nov and we are resuming another session in dec.to d student's suprise prof Saburi even attends lectures. He came to us one day like dt wen we were waiting for our lecture time to clock and spoke to us like father to child infact i was suprised that day that a VC could play with student like dt. The man has realy changed oou in less than 5 months. |
