I was 26 and not married.
My mum repeatedly embarrassed me with:

-You are a source of shame to me.
-All my mates have sons-in-law and grandchildren.
-Menopause is approaching.Its a pity
-Hope you are not a lesbian.
-Are you into prostitution that you have refused to marry?
-Your mates post pictures of themselves with their husbands and children on Facebook & WhatsApp.Where is your own? You are still posting single pictures.

And so many hurtful statements.

I was struggling in my final year in medical school.
But she was more interested in me getting married.

I got married 2 years after during my housemanship.

Our relationship has been kinda strained..especially after I relocated to UK.

I only just send her money...We don't talk much.

I have 2 kids now..Her grandchildren.
I love my mum.I miss her though but I haven't forgotten.

We all have different ideas of how messages should be passed across.. I believe that's the best way she knew how to.. so, you can't really blame people for how they were brought up, u just have to understand them coz, the most important thing is that she had your best interest at heart

I don't care about free electricity I only want a stable power supply..
Maybe we should just swallow our pride and allow a foreign company to manage these things coz apparently Nigerians are more concerned with politics than development sad
You can't expect miracle from Nigerian politicians, they are all the same

Adobe photoshop
Adobe illustrator.
In the world today, there are arguments that photoshop is better than Corel and it’s more productive. Now, I’m not saying Corel isn’t good because I’ve seen works done on Corel that amazed me but it would be good to learn photoshop too. If you can try learn both and also it depends on the niche of graphics design you wish to venture into. Put in your time and the Internet is ready to help you
Nice, I appreciate... I'm going to try and learn both ..I'll also let you know when I'm making good progress.. Thanks..

YouTube is one very good learning place. Look up videos for the software you want to use. The first thing is understanding how software work and understanding the interface. When you know this basics, you’d be able to see other artists finished jobs and try imagine how they were done. Even in this present age, some people don’t know there’s something known as photo manipulation. So learn the basics. Also there is Udemy, cousera and other paid learning sites you can get tutorial videos from. You can also get videos free from there sometimes if you’re lucky. In learning design, I’d advice you stick to videos and don’t do much books. Don’t get me wrong, I’m learning principles and methods and the likes, books are good. (E.g branding,) but in just understanding the interface, try use videos. I hope I’ve been able to help
Thanks a lot man.. this is quite enlightening & I'll definitely try these out. I'm currently learning corel draw. If it's not too much to ask, I'd like you to suggest other softwares that can be helpful too. Thanks

And to think that someone up there is saying some shit about respecting Kemi says a lot. Kemi that turned upon EFCC when that fraudster was detained. Dumb citizens. Later they say it's the government.

And there u have it folks. A thread was praising the honesty and good nature of northerners a while ago...and then boom..their real nature surfaces here.

Truth is that the north of nigeria is a region no country should pray to have....their mentality is the mentality the world should move away from.

Another truth is that I hate yorubas for hating Igbos...but believe me...i will choose a yoruba b4 i choose an hausa. I will rather be in a country with yorubas than be in a country with northerners. I will rather live in osun than live in taraba.

When a culture is built on intolerance...it is gone. The intolerance in the east and west dey learn work where the intolerance in the north of nigeria dey.
Senior man! I believe the north has more than 200 tribes & different cultures & religions as well. .. your comment shows that you don't care about that and you'd rather condem a whole region than address the real issue there.. please change

Shayetet13:
Ofcourse, when grazing lots and ranches are established, there will be no need to restrict someone else's movement. The only reason those states enacted those laws under duress was because the herders killed so many of their farmers during Buhari tenure and Buhari did nothing. "Desperate times require desperate measures". But with a proactive Atiku who believes in prevention, those desperate laws will no longer be necessary. He, Atiku will start by disarming the herdsmen and educating them on need for ranching. A full prevention circle, will make the problems go away. Hope you all got it now? You are welcome!
You comment has shown that you'd rather die bending the truth for your party than speak the truth and save your life..
