a) Each vertex angle of the regular n-gon measures (n-2)*180/n degrees. Since each isosceles triangle uses one vertex angle, the measure of the vertex angle of each isosceles triangle is (n-2)*180/n degrees. b) The base angles of each isosceles triangle are congruent. Since the vertex angle measures (n-2)*180/n degrees, and the three angles of a triangle sum to 180 degrees, each base angle measures (180 - (n-2)*180/n)/2 = (180/n) degrees. c) Let's draw a diagram. If s is the length of each side of the regular n-gon, then the base of each isosceles triangle is s. Using trigonometry, the altitude h to the base bisects the vertex angle, so: h/s = sin((n-2)*180/2n) h = s*sin((n-2)*180/2n) d) The area of each isosceles triangle is (1/2)*b*h = (1/2)*s*[s*sin((n-2)*180/2n)] = (1/2)*s^2*sin((n-2)*180/2n). e) There are n isosceles triangles that make up the regular n-gon. So the total area is: A = n*(1/2)*s^2*sin((n-2)*180/2n) = (1/2)*n*s^2*sin((n-2)*180/2n) |

Honestly, I have read somewhere here on Nairaland, that Nigeria is where you been deposited for being cruel in your pastlife... 😂😂😂😂 |
Just a quick one. I have looked thoroughly at the political landscape of this Nation. The bigotry, the tribalism, the nepotism, etc... I really want Nigeria to work. I didn't vote for Tinubu. but one month after , I was talking to a group of friends, hey maybe we just give this dude a chance by hoping for the better.... Everyone has their opinions , perspectives etc... some may be based on a lot of biases. religion, tribe, ethnicity. but then, there are those who really really want to see this country become great, bring back the glory of its former years, and perhaps in their own little way sacrifice for the sake of our future generation........ yes, there are still some of us who believe in sacrifice, letting go... getting along, for the greater good.... But just looking at the strides of the government policies, decisions, carelessness etc.... it really really dashes the hope.. Well, I am writing this piece because, suddenly I just remembered, a friend once told me, to forget about the hope of a great Nigeria. of things getting better. I should not stress my thoughts on The politics of Nigeria. I asked him why. Now his reason were a bit funny ànd almost preposterous 😅..... but lately I find my self gearing towards that.. He said it's religion and the soul. First He said. Truly I have to believe that there is Evil in world. Evil, real evil, blood sucking kind of evil... but there are levels and Cadre. that this evil present itself in different manner in different parts of the world. and for us here. this what we get. These politicians 99.9% of them have soiled their hands in evil and have done despicable things, No good can come out of such. He said even, Nigeria was founded by evil men who think blood sacrifices are needed to get ahead in this life. So tell me how can any good come out of such an elected official. and evil grows. if Nigeria was found on the premises of such evil thoughts, where do you think we are now... look at the leaders of the past and present.... Now there is evil and it grows. US for example was not founded in evil. but evil infiltrates and it grows... and their leaders up until now still has some some good which did bring out some change. But one of our friend then said. hey what about Indi Amin. he was evil and despicable, but at that time Uganda was successful, but look at where they are now....So then...........I'm tired of typing, I don't even know what I'm typing about at this point.... the mata done weak me.... but I still need to post this yea.... okay bye |
Arabs identifying as Palestinians have lived in the region for centuries, but they are not the first or original inhabitants of the land. The region has had a long history of conquest, rule, and demographic change. Palestinians are not the original or first inhabitants of the West Bank, Jerusalem, Bethlehem or other parts of modern-day Israel/Palestine. The history of the region is long and complex: - The earliest known inhabitants were the Canaanites, an ancient group of Semitic-speaking peoples who lived in the region roughly from 3000 BC to 1000 BC. - Around 1000 BC, the Israelites emerged in the central hill country of Canaan and formed the ancient Kingdoms of Israel and Judah in the land. The Israelites are ancestors of the Jewish people. - In the 1st century AD, the Roman Empire conquered the region and named it Palestine. The Romans frequently fought Jewish rebellions. - Palestine changed hands many times over the centuries, being ruled by the Byzantines, various Arab caliphates, Crusaders, Mamluks, Ottomans, and eventually the British after World War I. - During late Ottoman rule in the 19th-20th centuries, the current identity of "Palestinian" emerged among the Arab population of the region, as distinct from Ottomans or other Arabs. - In 1947, the UN proposed dividing the British Mandate of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states. In 1948, Israel was founded, followed by an invading Arab coalition. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced in the ensuing 1948 Arab-Israeli war.

when I look at the history of Nigeria. You and Gowon had real windows to have turned this country around. but your lack of vision was such a big problem for ya if you had a vision in 1999, Nigeria will be such a great nation today. Norway began their educational reform in 1999. operation you must go to school. you must get experience working in industry before your final year( like compulsory internship for SS2). by 2016, Norway was the most developed nation in the world. high human development index. free education for its citizens and even international ones UP TO PHD LEVEL. All you needed was have a vision. like the vision less cycle of leaders we have continued having since democracy. |

it's hard these days for your kids to grow up sane in the western world. it's even hard to guide their choices. Stay in Nigeria. invest in agriculture. make more money and take your family to visit exotic places around the world |

For countless generations, humanity has gazed up at the night sky and wondered - are we alone in the universe? The discovery of thousands of exoplanets in recent decades has brought us closer than ever to answering this profound question. Among these alien worlds, a handful show promise as potentially habitable planets where life could thrive. Let us imagine what it might be like on three of these tantalizing new frontiers many lightyears away. First, if we say so so and so planet is 580 lightyears away, it means it will take us 580 years to reach it if we were traveling at the speed of light. no machine has been built to travel that fast yet . Kepler-452b - An Earth-like World Orbiting a star similar to our sun, Kepler-452b has been called Earth's cousin. Located 1,400 lightyears away in the constellation Cygnus, this planet is thought to be rocky and have a thick atmosphere, with conditions suitable for liquid water oceans. With a year lasting 385 Earth days, plants and animals on Kepler-452b could follow similar seasonal cycles to our own world. We can envision vast blue oceans teeming with aquatic life, with vegetation ranging from rainforests to deserts across its continents. Kepler-452b's larger size suggests more extreme topography and giant land creatures. Floating mountains, vast cave systems, and towering trees and waterfalls could feature prominently across this alien yet strangely familiar landscape. Gliese 667Cc - A Tidal Locked Odyssey Only 22 lightyears away, Gliese 667Cc orbits a red dwarf star in the constellation Scorpius. The planet is likely tidally locked, with a permanent dayside and nightside. The dayside could feature a parched desert landscape, while the nightside would be frozen. Yet between the two extremes, there may be a twilight band with milder temperatures and liquid water. This would allow a unique diversity of environments and lifeforms to develop on Gliese 667Cc. We can picture wind-carved rock spires, carefully adapted vegetation, and heat-resistant animals on the dayside. The nightside could have icy plains and seas filled with bioluminescent organisms. The twilight band would present the most earth-like and habitable region. What a remarkable odyssey it would be to travel from the freezing darkness to eternal daylight across the hemispheres of this split personality world! TRAPPIST-1e - A Sea and Fire Planet 39 lightyears away in Aquarius, TRAPPIST-1e orbits an ultracool dwarf star and likely has extreme volcanic activity creating a hellish environment. But it may still harbor life within its believed subsurface oceans. With year-long eclipses creating cold winters, any life on TRAPPIST-1e would need resilience against the drastic seasonal changes. Thermoactive microorganisms and simple aquatic creatures could thrive deep in the oceans and around hydrothermal vents. We can envision tubeworms and crablike organisms inhabiting the underwater havens, while above on dry land, flowing lava and glowing embers light the land like a scene from Dante's Inferno. But even this extreme world could have a role in the story of life's persistence across the cosmos. The Cosmos Beckons As we locate and learn more about exoplanets, our imagination journeys to alien shores undreamt of. What wonders will we find when we finally gaze upon these distant worlds? For now, we can only speculate and allow our minds to wander across the galaxy's horizon. The cosmos beckons us to venture forth.

You should have a problem you wanna solve. If you go into programming with a mindset of making money. You would end up confused and quickly tired. On the way, you would make money, trust me.... I first had a mindset of money back in college, and it was a terrible experience until i sought to solve a problem, it became interesting, and i would wanna know everything and everyway.... Now i work remotely for a tech company in canada.... |
