StuntingBlack:
You saw through it Man.

The funny and annoying thing about all these is the marketing gimmicks. Lets even pretend Aba-made even matches up with quality/trust obtainable in foreign imports, have those shouting Aba-made factored in the many years of excessive consumer rights violation by these same Aba-made? Who in his right senses will think of patronizing Aba-made when he/she has an experience of a first-hand rip-off by purchasing either chronic sub-standards or refurbished or even counterfeits?

Again, they fail to factor in the high level of corruption capable of mesmerizing the integrity of local production. They fail to forget that corruption plays a big role in hindering investors intetested in boosting local production.

Ignore these ramblings Man. All these are mere gimmicks to get the opportunity to mass-produce more substandard and fake products to innocent Nigerians.
Please, drink a beer on my behalf.

A street bread seller becomes an object of half unclothedness on the front pages of magazines and that's successhuh
You may never know what true success is until you die and find yourself among those who submitted to their creator or those who would be losers in the Hereafter.
The dictionary may define success but it can't define true success..

"I think it is time we ban importation of mobile phones, computers, cars, electronics and related gadgets. If truly Nigeria is a huge market for Toyota, Samsung, Tecno, LG and likes, then it is high time they invest in our economy; it is high time we have Samsung Nigeria, Toyota Nigeria, Tecno Nigeria and co. International brands and companies must move beyond opening sales outlets in Nigeria or signing sales contract with Nigerian companies, they must start building manufacturing –not mere assembling- plants in Nigeria. We can no longer continue wasting our hard-earned money (apologies to looters) to improve foreign economy while ours wreck. You want to sell to Nigerians? Come to Nigeria!"

I find this quote funny. Who in their right minds would want to invest heavily in an unstable economy? Investing in Nigeria is more than a gamble. You forget that corruption is rife and fertile in Nigeria. Some individuals in Nigeria are stealing what most people would consider their country's yearly budget. These are some of the factors companies consider before making huge investment decisions. Op, i beg be serious.

Najatu Muhammad have become the first Nigerian to reject appointment from president Buhari.

In a newspaper advert, she wrote:

Re: Federal Ministry of Education.Reconstitution of the Governing Councils of 12 federal Universities.

I, Najatu Muhammad wishes to thank you so much for considering me worthy of being appointed the chairperson of Dutse Federal University. It’s however, unfortunate that I was not consulted before the announcement in the media. I also regret that I have to use the same medium to announce that I can’t accept the appointment for some personal reasons. I will however, remain an ardent supporter of President Buhari in his effort in charting a new course for this country. A course that we pray will put this country back on the path of progress. I will also continue to support the president’s fight against corruption and other ills of this country. My unflinching support for the President will remain for Allah’s sake and country. I pray that Allah will continue to guide and protect our President.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Thank you

Najatu Muhammad

Some call it luck but there is no such thing as luck. It's called opportunity. We are all destined to have it at least once in our lifetime. The opportunity to be great or have a better life. The only thing hindering a lot of people in taking advantage of such opportunities is "the law of process". You have to be prepared for such opportunities when they come. This is why we go to school, learn a trade etc This is also why she is being groomed in etiquette and English. If you are not prepared, opportunity will drop you like a hot potato.

EducationRe: Teacher Beats 3-Year-Old For Urinating & Defecating On His Body (pics) by banmee(m):
The old school mentality is that pain will correct a pattern of misconduct. That is incorrect. Pain is supposed to be used to draw one's attention. This is why spanking a child must stop before the age of 8. At that age, his brain is formed and he/she is beginning to understand things. It is time to start explaining things. As a Soldier, the old school way of correcting infractions, was to make you do front-back-go's, push ups all day and any embarrassing punishment imaginable. Now, all those methods have been outlawed. As an NCO, my job is to coach, teach, mentor and lead my Soldiers. You phuck up once and i give you a verbal counseling. The second time, it becomes a written one. The third time and you receive an Article 15 under the UCMJ. Believe me you don't want that. You lose your time, money and rank plus 45 days of manual labor in ungodly hours. You work all day, eat at 1700hrs, and begin cutting grass, cleaning latrines etc till 2300hrs. You still have to wake up at 0500 the next day to begin the whole process again. Initially, The NCO's were against this new form of corrective training. We were so used to the push ups all day method. It took us a while to realize you effectively change the way a person behaves by applying non physical corrective training and making sure the punishment fits the crime. The trick to changing a person's behavior is not by brute force but by taking away certain liberties they take for granted. My kids for instance. There is a rule in my household that there is no outside playtime on school nights until friday, saturday and sunday NLt 1600hrs. They know that any kind of infringement and those days will be taken away from them. Plus, no ipad, cable, bicycle, xbox, phone, etc. To them, losing those days is like being locked up in prison. You beat a child like this in the U.S, and you'll be spending the next 10 years in prison.

They give and they announce it to what end?

We can share with others to inspire them, but going into details isn't necessary.

The country is blessed with great people doing great deeds. We appreciate and emulate them in our various ways.

But if they all have to be sung, everyone will be getting an earful.

God Bless Nigerians, and God bless You!
Well said bro. Well said. My wife donates regularly to the salvation army. In America, this is a tax write off. It means when you file your taxes you can claim the monetary value which the government gives back to you. And as crazy as it sounds, so also is tithe and offerings. My wife never claims them. She always says that what's the point of giving if it is to get something in return? If that is the case, you are not giving, you are only investing.
RomanceRe: I Stormed His Wedding & Made Him Cry After He Broke My Heart by banmee(m): 1:51pm On Feb 15, 2016
nlfan:
I met this young man when i was 21 and he was 24 we dated 4 years, we were both struggling, we stayed with each other and help each other to grow.

We grow to become successful and i became very influential in my field and he was so proud of that.

Last october we agreed to walk down the isle, we were planning where we are going to stay after the wedding, he stays somewhere in Lagos mainland while i stay in the island. He told me that he will be moving somewhere in Mowe in Ogun State where his father built a house about 2 years ago.

I told him that will not be a good idea, going from Mowe to Victoria Island everyday will be terrible for me since we can afford a house in Lagos at least for now or we stay where he is staying currently, he maintained he cant change, we could not reach an agreement on that, the next thing i got a shocker, he traveled for event outside Lagos to the east, where he comes from, only to get attracted to a girl he met there and came boldly to tell me, if i cannot marry him and stay at mowe, there are so many good girls who will rush the offer and in annoyance i told him, have you found one please marry her.

To my surprise few days after i saw a photo of him and that girl he just met, less than two months all over social media, he has engaged her.

Initially i was pained, but let's face it he doesn't deserve my tears, his groups of friends started calling my line to ask when we stopped dating since we still stepped out recently to his friend birthday.

I didnt know what to say i asked them to ask him, things went that way and i started hurting, after he did official intro to the girl i knew it was over, i called him and told him i wish him happiness and best of luck with his wife to be.

He felt bad but said he knew i was a good person that he is not shocked i called, i ask him to keep me updated on wedding plans and he did and i told him i will attend he said he will be grateful.

On the wedding day, during the reception i showed up, i had gone to get a very flattering dress, i even paid for make up, i looked so beautiful i couldn't believe myself too smiley grin grin

When i entered the room everybody went crazy, all his friends and associate knew me, some are even pained at what he did to me, i showed up all his friends rushed to greet me, it took over 30 minutes to cheek kiss all of them and hug a few, the few people who didn't know me was wondering who i was and why i am so beautiful grin grin grin

I went up to greet him, he almost fell down from where he was standing, i greeted his wife ( a village girl from akwa ibom lol - the way she pronounce the thanks for coming though smiley )

I started catching fun and dancing crazy, my ex couldn't stand it anymore, he ask his wife to go inside the car only him came to greet his guys where i was seated, THEN BROKE DOWN IN TEARS

HE CRIED SO LOUD LIKE PEOPLE WERE SCARED, People will think that i will disappear from there scene since he was crying, i was still seated shaking body to the tune of music, he then told one of his friend, i don't know but i think i messed up - the guy was like you messed up big time, are you just realizing, then live with it the rest of your life, his wife rushed out of the car i guess he heard his prince charming was crying, he came and the moment she opened her mouth to ask daring wot isssit, guys had funny faces about to explode. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

At that point he left and i continue hanging out with his friends before oping into my car to go home. He sent a touching sms yesterday.
I'm pretty sure this is a made up MOD story. As usual.
