Wherever it is,11 pm is late
Most people are indoors by that time.
For a woman to be walking outside alone.

I try as much as possible to be home latest 8pm.
Remove yourself from the Nigerian mentality. Think past the abnormality that happens in Nigeria. 11 p.m is normal to be moving around. People do not lock themselves up like rats because of armed robbers.

Women and church

How can a woman be walking alone at 11pm?

When she should be sound asleep in bed

She is lucky she wasn't killed.

The malnourished looking pastor though
This is not Nigeria. You can walk at any time of the day. You realize that 11 p.m is when some people are resuming at their jobs?

You just don't get it do you. Maybe i need to list how life works for you;

1. There will always be problems in Life. These problem affects everyone.

2. You have to plan in order to mitigate the effect of these problem. This a problem because Nigerian don't plan.

3. There is always a solution to every problem. You just have to think outside the box.

4. The first step to recovery for you is to understand that there is no god.

5. Go and learn math, statistics and probability. The secret of life lies in these three things.

So it's this one you have been typing since that time? Ok. Let's start. You belonged in a fraternity. There was no killing and harassment. Who cares? We're talking about the fraternities here and their origin. Your problem is myopia. Have you really run things in a Nigerian university? I see kids just try to glorify stuff and I laugh. We grew inside fraternities and schooled inside them. You're a slowpoke if you try to justify the creation of pyrates confraternity and try to claim they started a good thing and people evil 'Nigerians' spoiled it. It was never good from the start. It's this same sugar-coating bullshit that has led so many young ones down that path with vain meaningless words spewed. Captain blood can try to launder his image to ignorant peeps determined to try to wash someone's name to be spotless. But not me. In what world does one emulate fraternities like Alpha Sigma Epsilon by creating something called Pyrates? Seriously? Pirate? And those bullshit spewed about fighting for equality? The image may have been laundered to the public by withdrawal from campuses and claiming not to be a cult. But you are an idiot for implying that Nigerians spoil everything while you and soyinka are Nigerians too. Now that the rest cults have gone haywire on campuses and streets, the pyrates are claiming angels. Now I've pretended like you're sensible. Back to troll mode. Now bark for me dog.
The way your dull mind works. Smh. This is the reason that in 2060, you all will still be asking the question "why are we not moving forward as a nation? If anyone asks you about the nigerian police force for instance you'll say "It was never good from the start". Question you small mind will never ask is; how come the police force functions properly in normal countries but fails woefully in yours? The obvious and glaring reason is that you all are phucked up from the floor up. You don't know how to maintain anything good. All you know how to do is destroy. Give me one thing that you guys are known for that is good apart from jollof rice grin. Whose problem is it that you cannot function like human beings?

Let me address you dogs together. But first, bark lemme see if you're big dogs. Hmmm... just as I thought. A pair of stray neutered puppies. You are cultists abi? Thunder fire both of you. And you are defending it? Foolish mongrels. Go and educate your father. I'm sure he'll be proud. Mongrels breed mongrels.
Alright so, you know what your problem is? Education and exposure. Basically, in your minds because you had a poor excuse for an education, it has completely stunted your mental and psychological development. The funny thing is you will still stand up to be counted if asked if you did go to one. The second problem is exposure. You have been so imbibed into the archaic norm in Nigeria that normalcy is alien to you. What is normal is absurd in your small minds. I was a member of a fraternity in college. It was a collection of like minded students who had the same goals and ideals and we worked together to achieve it. Guess what? we never killed nor harassed anyone. In fact it was thing of pride to be part of our fraternity so much so the every male student wanted to be part of it. Now, like i said before, Soyinka thought he was dealing with human beings not knowing that in fact a huge percentage of Nigerians in Nigeria are basically bloodthirsty animals. He saw the good fraternities did in the civilized societies and thought he could bring such ideas to the animals in Nigeria. That is where he failed. Animals like yourselves don't know what is good for you. You prefer to live, eat and breed in ignorance and squalor. Hence the dilemma you find yourselves. How is it possible that what works in normal society becomes an abomination in that zoo you call a country?

The perchant for evil is perhaps drowned only by the infinite waters of their infinite sea of ignorance.

Prof. Soyinka formed the Pirates primarily to serve as the voice of oppressed students, an organization that would fight for students' rights and curtail the indiscriminate harassment of students – especially sexual harassment of female students by lecturers, which by the way was rife in that era.

The secondary reason I think was to carve out a small, intimate circle of intellectuals and high-flying scholars who would meet occasionally for group-study, to bandy ideas, and even to socialize together - as is done in those Beta Theta Pi confratenities. Even the likes of Nelson Mandela while in college converged on occasion with the likes of Yusuf Dadoo and other African and Indian students for the purpose of exchanging ideas about different political ideologies.

I see no reason why some ignorant gargoyles would come here to spew applesauce about a man who was betrayed into believing that Nigerians would be civilized enough to not upend the course of a well-meaning innovation. It's even worse knowing that these self-same gargoyles would still be incapable of measuring up to the white-haired professor if they had ten lives to live.
Like play like play, this guy sabi English pass me. For Nairaland? Wedonsa.

Anything that was introduced to make Nigerians more civilized and less evil, Nigerians have turned it to a medium to perpetrate more evil
Religion
Fraternities
Politics
Policing
The military
even the simple things like Marrying a wife is an excuse for some savages to rape women and they justify it by saying a man cant rape his wife
You know the worst part? They would find one way or the other to blame it on white people. Which kain tin be dis na? How can a people move forward when they refuse to take responsibility for their decisions and actions?

Seriously? Guy, Nigerians with their penchant for evil turned what is normal and good and made it diabolical. Fraternities are meant to be something of pride in normal societies but not in Nigeria. Soyinka thought he was dealing with sane human beings when he introduced it not knowing Nigerians would twist it.

I don't need to go to know it is phucked up for two reasons;

1. Ekiti is in Nigeria and Nigeria is a rubbish country. Not one single state can be called a state. It is just a collection of people living in the same area with zero infrastructure and security.

2. From the actions of Fayose alone, one can deduce that he has nothing to contribute to the development of any state. He is not fit to lead children in a kindergarten class talk less of a "state".

How anyone cannot see this baffles the mind. I will always say this; Nigerians deserve the leaders they have.

Having an adoption isn't an option either. Not having a child isn't the end of the world put the societal pressure had made it so. Why do you think most Nigeria women are persistent to having child? Why do you think extended families are a thorn in the flesh to most persons? It's easy to say not having a child isn't the end of the world but the reality is there. Adoption maybe good but in this part of the world most persons don't support it. Its very easy to say a thing but the problem is still standing at your face looking.Atheism hasn't solve any problem as holders to it live in illusion that things just work the way it's. I have many of them has friends that have given up
Who's problem is it if your society forces you to think a certain way? It is your problem. This is why you all are not moving forward as a nation. Thought processes that have been left behind in the stone age, you are still clinging on to it. You all need to change your ways. And it is funny that you are on a forum created by an atheist but still cannot fathom the milestones atheist have done for the human race. If the world had left it's future to religious nut jobs we would not have the advancements we have today. Guess what? the computer you are typing on was advanced by an atheist. Plus, he was a homosexual too. Google alan turing. You all need to wake up. I dare you to stop using a computer because of it. When it suits you, you disregard the contributions of atheists. Lol

So someone that's barren for 30 years what will that person do?
That is the reason they hold you all as fools. They know that once a Nigerian is desperate, they will do anything to survive. This is why your pastors are rich. With all your belief in God and the miracles he will do for you, why has he not transformed all of your lives and especially your society? You all just do not understand that bad things will always happen in life. Nowhere is perfect but what helps normal societies is the understanding of this fact and their ability to plan for those bad days. If a woman is barren the solution is medical and if she has a permanent problem then that's life. The solution is not in some fairy tale god.
