CROWNWEALTH019:I hope he becomes president. I really do. You guys deserve without a doubt all the leaders you've ever had. Smh. |
Male. Anytime and day. Women are to emotional. |
SmartMugu:Under normal circumstances in a normal society, keyword here being "normal", what they are proposing is nor far fetched. Everyone who earns an income must be taxed. But, nigeria is not a normal country so what they are proposing does not make sense. For it to succeed you need a data base which Nigeria does not have. Plus, it is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and what would happen is it will be another avenue to harass and extort people. An official can simply point to anyone on the streets and claim that the individual is a beggar and attempt to tax him or her. What a phucked up country. Smh. |
DickDastardly2:Finally? It's been over a long time ago. |
sarrki:As sad as it is to say, at the stage you guys are in, it seems to be the best option right now. The rot and corruption needs to be cut out fast. Worse is the mentality. Think about this; almost every child born in nigeria will have no choice but to become corrupt because that is all he would know. He/she will learn the ways of being a "sharp guy". He would have lost the battle from birth because he never had a choice. How do you change a phucked up cycle like the one i just described? I spent two full days on NL trying to inform a member on what is supposed to be normal and he just didn't get it. He didn't get it because he has never known nor experience what normal is. He thinks it is his god given right to burn suspects in the streets. Nigeria is filled with people who do not know what normal is and the country is suffering because of it. |
Vutseck:If you have a smart phone it should be no problem. I do it with mine all the time. |
Fourwinds: Jaqenhghar: |
Fourwinds:If you had good people in nigeria in large numbers, you have by now picked one good leader in the course of your history it doesn't take half a century to find one good leader. It is a mathematical impossibility. |
Fourwinds:When you are done googling let me know. This is why Google is not for everyone. Here's the problem; you are using the Nigerian mentality Re enforced with Google to justify your mentality. The American way of life staring with revolution did not start the leaders we know now. It started with ordinary man on the streets. Since you like googling, Google the burning of ships in boston. That's where it all started. You think our change started with leadership, Lol, it started with the common man first. It was these common men who eventually became our leaders. This is what you all don't understand. You for instance, let's say by some strange turn of events you become president or some high ranking leader in nigeria, you would do no better than what all your other leaders have done so far. Your mentality is phucked up and there is no way in hell you can do anything positive because of it. This is the problem in nigeria. When the citizenry is phucked, the leaders you select from amongst you will be phucked up fact. |
stexsy:I hope he becomes president. I really do. You guys deserve without a doubt all the leaders you've ever had. |
Jaqenhghar:Slice of the pie. Lol. Smh. Na wa for Nigerians. |
Fourwinds:You are something else. Do we need to go back to the beginning of this to trace what the conversations are about? Also, what you fail to comprehend is, she does not have to sleep in the church because you can go out at anytime of the day in normal countries. It was bad luck that she got attacked. She may as well have been attacked in the day time too or do crimes only happen at night. I have duty today starting at 12 midnight and i will leave home at 1130. If my society was the kind of society you are used to would we be able to schedule our times like that Why the phuck don't you get this? I keep saying you society is influencing your thought process which is why you have to change it collectively as a people. Have you ever wondered why Nigeria is so phucked up? It is not just your leaders; it is how you think mainly. |
golor:The same politicians who he didn't mind dancing and singing for when he was struggling abi? Now that he doesn't need them anymore e wan sing against them. Ok |
Fourwinds:Are you this retarded? from the beginning of our conversation i had said it like a thousand times. How were you not able to comprehend this. " banmee:When you will not calm down to read and understand how can you comprehend. Talking to you is like trying to teach a toddler something. |
Ehiscotch:Put you cursor in the beginning of the word or sentence you want to highlight and extend it to the end of it. Be mindful not to over extend either at the beginning or end of the word or sentence or it would not work. Once you have done that, move your cursor to the top left corner of the message box and you will see B in bold and then click on it. Then all you have to do is click "submit" to send your message once you are done. It is always better to highlight when you have finished typing your message and have checked it for errors. |
Ehiscotch:Funny thing is most Nigerians don't realize this. |
Fourwinds:Obviously you cannot comprehend anything. Again "CRIME HAPPENS EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD. WHAT MATTERS IS HOW PEOPLE RESPOND TO IT". You are not exposed to normalcy which is why you do not know. All you know is rampage and insecurity on a 24 hour basis which is why it is difficult to educate you. Smh. Don't worry. E go better. |
The funny thing is the guy pushing the cart is not a chauffeur. He's a bell boy. Classic definition of money miss road. Smh. |
Fourwinds:That's the first accurate thing you've said in two days. You are right. I don't understand. I will never understand how a people would collectively have the strangest mentality in the world. No wonder you are creating a paradise in your country. Carry on. |
Fourwinds:Lol. You are talking about a people who have no problem burning another human being in the streets. Ok. The fact that you don't understand all I have been trying to educate you on proves why Nigeria will never change. You don't understand and will never understand. Lol. He thinks because you built a house on your own makes you a good person. Carry on. |
sorom4:Lol. Obviously you are very young. |
Fourwinds:Which is why I said you all should change the way you think as a people. It us no one's fault but your own that you all think in a negative way. |
Fourwinds:But it is the wrong perspective. Think about it; Millions of Nigerians hold he same perspective you have which is why your country is at a standstill and gradually regressing. If your perspective was the right one it would influence positively in the society you all are creating for yourselves. In 2060, you all will still be asking why is Nigeria not moving forward. Doubt me? Go and listen to fela's songs he sang in the 70's. Everything he was complaining about then is still happening now and in fact has gotten worse. That's almost half a century ago. Guy, yes it is your perspective but for you all's sake you need to change it for your own good. |
Fourwinds:Again, this is my point. If it is a global village, how come you don't understand what I have trying to educate for almost two days? |
Fourwinds:You are doing it again. Did i not just say crime happens everywhere in the world? But in spite of that, normal people in normal countries go about their business at all hours of the day. Abnormal people like Nigerians in Nigeria lock themselves up because there is no system designed to protect them in case it does happen or at least try to catch criminals. You can't say because of one incident you will now become a prisoner in your own home. We don't live that. And to correct your perception that because i'm located in the U.S does not make me more informed that most people in Nigeria. Guy, it does. I am a million times more informed. Case in point the conversation we are having. You are basing your comments on what you are used to in a phucked up country where nothing works? Why should anyone listen to you? If you were in the right, it means thing are working well in Nigeria and you are basing your comments on it. It's like a man trying to tell me how to build a skyscraper while he's only ever built a hut. How does that make sense? |
Fourwinds:I really don't mean to be rude but how old are you? The reason i ask is that arguing with you seems a daunting task because you don't follow a logical path. We have ascertained that; 1. Crime happens everywhere in the world. 2. What separates countries like the U.S and Germany which has plenty of crime and Nigeria, is the way they handle and respond to these crimes. In the U.S and Germany, they manage it well which is why people move about at all hours of the day. In Nigeria, can you go jogging at 1.am? 3. Just because of incidents of crime does not mean you will lock yourself at home and not go about your business. I know that is what you are used to as a Nigerian but it does not apply to normal countries. 4. I have told you to use google and youtube to see how people live in normal countries. Or is your network provider limiting you to only Nairaland? I had to break it down barney style maybe now you'll understand. The reason you have this mentality is because of the way you were brought up as a Nigerian in Nigeria. Once you are exposed to a better way of life your perception will metamorphosize. I assure you. |
malificent:You de mind am? He/she is probably mastu.rbating over those pictures as we speak. |
Fourwinds:Your question is mind boggling to sat tye least. It's like saying because of plane crashes on should not fly in an airplane . Isn't it normal that planes crash? As sad as it is. |
Fourwinds:For you to understand where i'm coming from, you have to realize one very important point. Are you ready? Here it is; CRIME HAPPENS EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. YOU CAN ONLY CONTROL IT. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS THE FREQUENCY OF IT AND HOW PEOPLE REACT TO IT. That being said now we can move on. What will happen now is 9 times out of 10, those culprits will be caught. In Nigeria you i know that if given 7 billion years they will never be caught. When you are at home barricading yourselves in your homes like inmates at night, people are moving around going to work, jogging, partying, shopping, etc in normal countries. Yes, at 11pm, 12pm, 0100am, etc. Would that happen if the society was unsafe. Don't take my word for it. Google it. Youtube it. It's there for all the world to see. |
BlowBack:She assumes she is talking to normal people. She still does not understand that Nigerians in Nigeria are not normal hence their difficulty is grasping the gravity of their situation. |
Decale:Daaaayyyyyuuuuummmmm. |
Fourwinds:Reword your comment. It is confusing as phuck. |
