DerideGull: Nigeria is home to the largest number of academic frauds. There were few southerners very sympathetic to NPC and even formed alliance with NPC to carry out the proverbial talks of dipping Koran in Atlantic Ocean by Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. I am not surprised about the composition of APC however the picture of its national executive body speaks volume.
Tell us what's the worse APC can do in terms of religion

Ikengawo: Let him arrest Kwankwaso the minute his tenure is up. It should be known that the only reason the governor went to APC other than tribalism is because he had an EFCC investigation on him. The state the gets the highest non oil revenue in nigeria, lied to most on the census, and has dedicated it's self to subverting the work of a democratically elected president of this great country should not be treated as anything but a den of deceit and corruption.
Are u sane?

TechWalker007: GEJ haters are very funny.

They have been shouting GEJ is tolerating corruption, now the cry is "witch-hunting".

The same people who are shouting he is not fighting corruption will shout witch hunt!

And @op, where's your "sauce".
Charity begins at home...if indeed GEJ wants to fight corruption then he should start with his people(fed govt), madam bullet proof, Nnpc, pension etc. Why won't we complain when its selective nd unfair

EFCC says it was responding to petition
against Speaker
The Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission, EFCC, has arrested the
Speaker of the Kano state House of
Assembly, Gambo Sallau, and seven other
members of the House.
Confirming the arrest, the Spokesperson of
the EFCC, WIlson Uwujaren, said the
lawmakers were invited by the commission
to answer questions following a
petitionagainst them.
“It is true they were invited for questioning
in respect of a petition against them for
abuse of supplementary processes,” he
said.
Mr. Uwujaren also said the Speaker and
the other officials responded to the
Commission’s invitation on Monday at its
Kano Office. He however said, the
lawmakers were being transferred to the
Commission’s Headquarters in Abuja as
the petition was received in Abuja.
Although Mr. Uwujaren did not specify the
number of the Assembly officials invited, a
source at the Assembly informed
PREMIUM TIMES that seven other
lawmakers were arrested alongside the
Speaker.
A source in the Kano Government said the
arrest of the lawmakers has stalled the
plan by Governor Musa Kwankwaso to
present the state’s 2014 budget to the
Assembly.
Governor Kwankwaso is one of the five
PDP governors who recently defected to
the opposition All Progressives Congress.
The arrested lawmakers are said to be
allies of the governor.

abbakacici: when Akinwumi Adesina was drilled by Mohammed Tahir Monguno (kanuri) about the 6 billion phone contract for farmers i don't think a single yaruba person play the ethic card that is yaruba try to defend him saying that monguno don't respect him because he is not from the north, and when representative ROSE OKOJI OKO (cross river ) drilled the former minister of education Rukaiya about ASUU strike no northerner play the religious card or ethic, but IGBOS always play the ethic and religious card always, that is Stella mismanagement public funds, and any nigerian that complain must hate the igbos, now Ngozi disrespect the house of representative members, they shows their angry they must hate IGBOS or are envy of her PHD, and now doctors are now strike and any persons that ask or complain about it he/she must hate igbo/Christianity because Prof.C.O.Onyebuchi Chukwu is igbo/Christianity
Thank you very much, instead of looking at the bigger picture they tend to see things as the size of their brains.....igbos(NL igbos) learn to see things beyond tribe and may be u may achieve respect nd enlightenment

PoliticsPandemonium In Rivers As Policemen Shoot Assembly Members by bappahman(op): 6:21pm On Dec 12, 2013
Crisis again broke out in the Rivers State
House of Assembly in Port Harcourt on
Thursday as the police on the orders from
above disrupted the sitting of the state
House by looking down the Assembly
complex when the lawmakers tried to
resume their lawful duties.
The 25 lawmakers, in the absence of the
speaker, then decided to sit with the
deputy speaker presiding but men of the
Nigerian Police fired live bullets at the
lawmakers live in peoples presence…
The actions of the police, according to
what sources told OluFamous.Com is
because majority of the men are loyal to
Governor Rotimi Amaechi and the
Presidency don’t want Amaechi’s loyalists
to head the house.
As at the time of reporting, there is chaos in the area and I hear some people have
been injured by the police.
