So where do children of atheists go? What about children of traditionalists? There are no more Christian or Muslim schools. Only secular government ones now. All names should be changed to district numbers like in the Chinese system. Nobody should be forced to wear a scarf and no one should be forced to remove it in any public school as the constitution dictates. Everyone to his/her conscience. Those who want religious education should go to private schools. Enough of the foolishness of all religionists.

And that is positively my last word on this dumb matter.

Just because they retained their names does not mean that they are missionary owned today; whether Christian, Muslim or pagan. As long as they are on government land and sponsored fully by tax payers' money, they belong to everybody. We live in a secular country where everybody is entitled to practise their faith, or lack thereof. Nobody should be forced to abandon their faith or practise another's before having access to a public institution funded by the government. It is really very easy to understand.

If the government changed all school names to numbers, would that reduce your confusion?

All religions have had their conflicts and their extremists. Even if you do not want to read the many books on the subject, a simple Google search will convince you.

And my point was about tolerance; the ability to live in harmony with others without hatred and coercion, not about armed rebel groups.

Voice of reasons. Christian from the North don't let IPOB terrorist and black goat worshipers fool you into believing they're friends, they're not. They just want the APC presidential ticket and they don't know how to go about it. Lemme tell you this one of your own, a Christian in the North will be vice president while Muslim from South West will be the president. You still don't get it, its a missionary school with Christianity background and rules. It's not just an ordinary public school

The primary objective of the missionaries was to convert the people to Christianity through education. These was the reason why missionary school were founded but due to wide expectant it started accommodating other religion after the goverment took over but once it as been returned back to the missionaries it core value and rules must be respect even when it accepted other religion.

Meaningless statement. Even if it is true, that would be like saying that all Christians are not KKK but all KKK are Christians. What reasonable vibe do you get there? That Christians must always be associated with KKK?

People who are tied down to organized religions are always chained by their own gullibility, which they think is smart. Until they start questioning on their own, they can never perceive their own stench, only that of others.

A lot of people sha get brain but have refused to utilise it. These people roaring have failed to weigh things from the other angle that if Christian parents opened their eyes and send their wards to an Islamic school say for example, An-Sarudeen, the parents have no right whatsoever to complain that their wards are being exposed to praying the Islamic way. The rules are always clear when it comes to schools that lean towards religion.

A Christian missionary school is what it is. To avoid stories like this and unnecessary brouhaha, send your child to a school where his/her religion is tolerated..! Shikena..

At least Muslims disclaim all those groups, while Christians actively support their own fundamentalism. The group's you mentioned are more equivalent to Christian groups lie the IRA, the KKK, the LRA or the Westboro Baptist church. It is escapist to claim that all Muslims are Boko haram or ISIS when Muslims seem to suffer from them the most. In fact, they all started in predominantly Muslim areas and have not seemed to attack any Christian regions. As for expansionism, Christians also are equally intent on the forceful expansion of Christianity, only they do it under official sanction. They have sent Christian missionaries into places like Afghanistan and Iraq under US military cover.

Intolerance has nothing to do with armed conflict. It means ability to live in harmony with others. Christians just do not seem to be able to do that. They insult, coerce, manipulate and even for e minors of other religious groups wherever they get the opportunity. Yet they are always the first to cry victimisation. That is fact. Christians are really full of hate for other religious groups. I was a Christian, it was not hidden from me, and I'm sure it's not hidden from you. Muslims just do not behave that way, despite extremist groups like the ones you mentioned; present in all religions.

Where I stay there are schools owned by Muslims, and Christians attend too. The Christian kids are not compelled to wear Hijabs.

I have said it and I will continue to say it... Fulani herdsmen are innocent. All the nonsense we read on social media is false. It's a case of give a dog a bad name and hang him... They hate the Fulanis cos of envy..

Reminds me of what my Pastor, Dr. Ebuka, told me some months ago. He told me that the Fulanis are the most hated in the Southern part of Nigeria, no thanks to envy. That whenever he reads of their persecution, the Biblical story of Joseph and his envious half brothers come to (his) mind.

According to him, Joseph (representing the Fulanis/Hausas/North), was loved so much by his father (Britain).. So much that his father, Israel(Britain), dressed him with a long coat of many colors (handing power to the North).. This act made his half brothers hate him..

As if that wasn't enough, the hatred worsened when Joseph revealed to them a dream that the Sun, Moon and 11 stars bowed down to him, implying that he was born to rule... It was this "born to rule" mentality that aggravated everything! Same mentality the Fulanis have.

But I wonder why my Christian brothers who see Joseph as the Hero are hating on the Fulanis when it's obvious that both stories are similar... Hypocrisy, right?

Anyway, Nigeria go better.

You don't get me, do you? I meant if you open an account outside Nigeria maybe another West African country, and carry out your transaction seamlessly will the government stop you?

For context, you would still maintain your Nigerian account just that you would transfer to your foreign account when you want to make a crypto transaction.
