abatically: Very funny op, so how did ur mechanic try to reset the oil life? The person above me is even funnier saying it has to be reset with a system, abeg which kind system be that? Anyway sha some professional scanners can be used to reset oil life, but do we really need that?
Follow these simple steps.
1. Turn on ur ignition to on position (do not start the car) 2. Press the reset /select knob (it is on ur instrument cluster) until it shows oil life 3. Hold the reset /select knob for about 15 seconds until the oil life and service indicator starts blinking, then release. 4. Hold the reset/select knob again for like 10 seconds until the maintenance required light (spanner) disappears. 5. Voila, oil life is back to 100%. Do this whenever u change ur oil.
All the way from 2015, I got saved today after my mechanic concluded he doesn't know how to reset oil life after he serviced my car. Thank you, man!
TheRealOwner: You are very informed. This is why women dump men that sponsored their education or brought them overseas after the deed is done. Those women simply fell for the man at a point where they didn't know any better due to environment and upbringing. Once the environment changes, the same woman now sees that there are potentially better options as their level has changed
The same thing happens with men who were faithful when broke and struggling but are now sugar daddies and have 2 sugar babies per campus in their regions
@promisedwealth, interesting username. What is the story behind it?
Like hopeforcharles has said, you need to reinvent yourself and up your game financially, mentally, emotionally and physically. If you can successfully do this, within the next 3 years, you will see how both her and her mom will become so friendly and submissive and claim they don't know what came over them during this trying period. I have read a story here of a woman who separated from her husband due to his condition, and after he levelled up, wrote a thread on how she misses him so much, how she was the one that was there during his struggle phase (both of them were now remarried to different people at this point), how his new wife did nothing to build him, that people should advise how she can reconcile with him. You can imagine .
Massive success is the best revenge bro. Money indeed stops nonsense
Thedon22: I have watched the video and have seen that he behaved exactly how Rufai Oseni behaved to Tinubus supporters throughout the Nigerian election campaign.. I noticed from the video that even his co-anchor was uncomfortable and she kept twisting on her seat . Oseni in Nigeria should be fired also because he severally behaved in an unprofessional manner to many of Arise tv guest who were sympathetic to Tinubu. He literally attacked them . That is junk journalism. Never be carried away.
airsaylongcome: Truth is if you are good, like supremely good at what you do na you go dey run from jobs. One of my guys, a supremely good C++ coder recently left a $15/hr for a $100/hr in January at the same company. Yesterday he got bumped to $200/hr at the same company when he told his manager he's got another offer. No interview or nothing at the current company. Just a new contract with the new offer. Baba don dey plan marriage straight. Annoying thing is that he is based in Ibadan so he is living super large
$200/hr and staying in Ibadan?? Either your friend is lieing to you or you are the one telling lie here. This is my field. I'm a site reliability engineer who has worked with Google for a short time and currently with Andela. My friend, go back and tell your friend he's lieing.
One major consequence of corruption in Africa countries like Nigeria is brain drain. Talents will always go to where they are appreciated, not where mediocres are allowed to run the shows in the name of politics. 30% of top rated surgions in US are Nigerians. 30% of the bravest investment bankers in wall street are Nigerians. They or their parents left this country because of corruption and they are better for it.
My friends who are developers and working for US companies are never going to walk with local companies again because they are better paid and appreciated even for a small workload compare to Nigerian counterpart. Up until last year , I worked as SRE for US company for two years earning $82,865 per year. Which local company can match that amount in Nigeria today. I usually snubbed a lot of them when they come into my DM on LinkedIn.
Corruption is horrible and everybody including our companies are affected by its devastating impacts on talents and innovations.
helinues: Just because you guys lose in the just concluded election shouldn't mean you should be wishing evil to the country.
No place like home except if you guys are thinking otherwise
Guy, you are still here! Been a while I read your messages on NL. Your case is an irredeemable one! So sorry for your children if you have some in Nigeria.
TheNoble007: Stop exposing your foolery all over this space. As someone who studied in the US, there is nothing like 'First Class ' degree written on diploma certificates. You are deluded just like your principal, and probably, typing from the dark state of your tiny cabin.. I weep for Nigerians like you that disdain a better Nigeria with reckless abandon..
I hate to say that I hate people like this. It's so annoying seeing Nigerians talk like this. Like for how long are we going to continue in darkness as a country with the category of leaders that that commenter is supporting.
You are right! His mind is dark and full of foolishness

Have been here for close to 5 months and need courses / certifications to add to my experience should I look for offer else where.
I want to leave Abuja
I know nothing about the bolded. And this is nothing close to information tech.
yemzone: My Review of the Presidential/Senatorial and House of Reps Election
It is no doubt that, to a large extent, in many polling units, election was conducted peacefully. In my polling unit (PU), it was peaceful as well, left for quarrels in the queue. I feel INEC should be commended for this. The introduction of Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) has really made voting so easy and rigging difficult. However, there are few lapses I feel INEC should work on.
INEC should employ more ad-hoc/permanent staff for its job. It is sad that despite INEC being visibly understaffed, they deliberately decided not to select some personnel for the job. These reasons are best known to them. I can say that I have friends who took part in the three-day training and were not selected, and there were polling units that lacked polling officials.
For instance in my unit, we didn't see our Assistant Presiding Officer (APO III). We called this guy, at first his number didn't go through, later it rang unpicked. Assistant Presiding Officer II (APO II) and I alongside Presiding Officer (PO) did a tedious work that would have been easier if APO III were around. APO III should be the queue controller.
It wasn't easy controlling these people mehn. At some point, I was mildly intimidated when I said elderly people should be attended to first. E be like say I dey follow INEC training gbagba.
Come and see how everyone dey claim old. But I overcame the intimidation. Thank goodness, one of the youth leaders coordinated the crowd. There was no Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO) as well and Registration Area Technology (RATECH). None of them strolled our Polling Unit and even the ones nearest to us.
At some point, we needed them to be present when we wanted to count votes. We had to proceed when people's grievances were getting to our ears. I also had an issue with the BVAS: I mistakenly exported accredited data before the end of accreditation. Omo, come and see sweat for my body. Thank God for bad network, the kind beating wey I go chop ehn 😂
Another area I want INEC to look into is the issue of logistics in terms of transportation. Our team came to the polling unit past 9. The earlier the poll starts, the better, especially for polling units with many registered voters.
Lastly, the issue of security should not be taken lightly. Let me tell you, forget all the promises by the FG that there would be a tight security at PU. In my PU, only one police officer manned more than two polling units. If it was a violent-prone area, you know what could have happened.
How did election go in your area?
In my own opinion, these are not needed. This paper election needs to be automated. The process is too manual for the year 2023 for goodness sake! Many of those corp members are not required for this kind of election. The only part that I think would require someone is the accreditation part with BVAS. Others can be automated right away, completely removing human interactions with these elections. This was my first time voting as I wasn't in the country in the previous editions. Too manual and prone to corruption and rigging. This is not election for God's sake!
jesusjnr2020: As I said earlier, you're only crying because I am not going to vote for the candidate of your personal sentiments, not because I'm not voting. The same candidate you appear so sure of was the running mate of a bonafide thief and proven looter of the nation's economy last time out, and he was also a 2 time governor but failed to make significant difference in the state he governed for 8 years, so what makes you feel he could make any difference on the national scale in the area of leadership? Or perhaps you think leading the country is beans?
I don't have a vote to waste on those who can't convince me they'd provide anything different from what is the current reality of the nation.
The person who I believed could didn't make it to this stage, and I wasn't led by God to vote for anyone else despite praying every single day for this nation. The only thing God told me while praying for this nation is that APC would win, which you said wasn't from God, so why not wait until the results were fully out to prove I'm wrong? The result are already coming out, so please be patient, you heard?
It is not because of that and you know it! You can vote for anyone you like, it is your choice. I am only condemning you for abdicating your civic and citizen responsibility. You are just a liar who uses God's name to propagate fake visions and dreams. I am done talking to you!
jesusjnr2020: Christians and attributing personal sentiments to God is not something I'm not used to.
That's the same way they were ranting and making a whole lot of fuss here and elsewhere about Donald Trump, having dreams, visions and making prophecies of his victory, some even going to the absurd extent of liking him to the "trump" of God, but at the end they realized that they were on their own, and God had nothing to do with their expectations.
I warned them then about such then, and told them God told me Trump would lose them beforehand, but they wouldn't listen until their hopes got dashed to their utter disappointment. Well the results is not far off so let's wait and see if it what I said was of God or not.
Meanwhile hold your peace because it's not a crime or a sin not to vote. Some even believe it's a sin for Christians to vote so different strokes for different folks.
By the way, if you knew me, you'd know that I don't do things to please men, including Christians, but God, so please don't waste any disappointment on me.
You will need enough with the results were announced.
It is not a crime agreed but it is a gross act of irresponsibility on your part to refuse to vote on election day. When the country is run badly by incompetent people, you should not be among those who complain because you have no positive impact or contribution towards Nigeria. I am really concerned for people like you who have access to preach to people in the name of God. Imagine telling people not to bother about vote because God hasn't said anything or because your candidate is not on ballot. You are disgrace for saying such thing to yourself and to people around you.
If them born all you this useless ipob well, make we hear pim when Tinubu is declared winner. Many of you will visit your grandparents asap. Useless fools
You are a disgrace! An irredeemable person that you are! What has this got to do with IPOB? Hatred don finish your life
jesusjnr2020: I have not yet had any dream in this regard but while I was praying 2 days ago, i heard a voice I believe to be God's say that APC would win.
I believe it was the presidential election so let's see how things pan out.
As for this election though, i'm not rooting for any one really. The person I would have rooted for didn't make it out of the primaries and none of the leading candidates have been convincing enough for me, so I feel indifferent about this election and i'm not going to vote for anyone.
I didn't even get any instruction from God concerning this election, so I'm just observe from the sideline knowing that however it panned out, God's plan is still on course and cannot be scuttled by men.
God bless.
It is unwise and even ungodly for you to say that you are not going to vote because your preferred candidate didn't make out of primary. Those of you who sit on fence at this critical junction in Nigeria and refuse to vote are a big problem for Nigeria. It is a duty to vote. It's a responsibility because you are a citiz n and you are first a Nigerian before becoming a Christian. I can't believe that an adult citizen at this critical make or Mar period in Nigeria will publicly come out claiming he's not going to vote. If you have a PVC, Peter Obi is a better choice of the three leading candidates. That voice that you heard that you are not even sure is coming from God, is not God's voice. For God's sake, do you have to hear from God before you carry out your civic responsibility? Very disappointing!
Indispensable85: In issues between state and federal government it's directly to the supreme court. Also with interpretation of laws made by national assembly. Also in cases of institution vs institution., State vs state
Abeg, guys no vex for my ignorance o. How can a case go directly to the supreme court without first being heard by lower courts? Not a law person, hence this ignorant question
You still can't read even after the reason was boldly stated in the article. The first thing your tiny mind thought of is to make this about Russia. You Putin bots are just butthurt and it's obvious most of you lack intelligence. If they ask you to choose between Russia and other Western Nations now, we know Russia will not even be in your first 3 choices. Clowns that want to be controversial in order to get attention.
I remember when many of you were screaming about the Euro/USD exchange rate some months back and I told you the Europeans are smarter than you and Putin and way ahead in calculations. Where are we today?
You Putin bots should worry about your country and how to make it better instead jumping up and down to find a reason to praise and vindicate Putin.
Nawa o! Can you not make your point without this unprovoked attack? Or the guy collect your wife?
ceaser: The recession that the US and Europe will face in 2023 will be a serious one.
And the WEF (World Economic Forum) headed by the evil Klaus Swach is happy about it.
I'm glad you know it was a scam.
They were all printing money indiscriminately during the lockdown period and sharing it out and at a time that production was nearly zero. After the dust settled, there was too much money in the circulation to purchase very few goods.
Unfortunately, the inflation of the US Dollar will have global effect because the dollar being the global currency means the whole world is subsidising the US excess of currency.
But with the recent move towards de-dollarizarion by countries such as China, Russia, Turkey, KSA, Swiss Bank and the incoming admittance of Turkey and KSA into the BRICs, it's only a matter of time before the US loses her dollar hegemony.
Petrodollar may soon give way to "Petroyuan"
ChatGPT that is an algorithm funded by the government to feed people information the way that the government wants.
ChatGPT was fed about 50 billion texts (that's about 50 million articles) and what it does is to analyse these articles to give the answers to the questions you ask it. The downside now is that ChatGPT is not exposed to Internet contents, which means that there is tendency for it not to get updated on many issues as at when due. And of course it was a deliberate strategy. There are many dissenting voices and articles daily put in the Internet entry and exposure of ChatGPT to this means that the software will pick from articles that are anti-government.
An example is when CbwtGPT was asked "how to destroy Crypto in one year". The responses include whipping up fake news about Crypto, dissuading many people from investing into Crypto, forming legislation to make government take control of Crypto and so on. Now doesn't that sound like the government in 2022? Sam Bankman Fried comes to mind.
Bill Gates having invested about 2 million dollars in it owns about 40 percent share in ChatGPT while Elon Musk and a few others that started it proper (PayPal co-founder being one) own the remaining shares. Elon Musk had a different vision, a rather harmless one, for ChatGPT. Unfortunately with Bill Gates involvement, weaponization of the platform against users and in favour of the government is what Bill Gates has turned it into. This is one of the reason why Elon Musk blocked ChatGPT access to Twitter the moment he bought the platform, and the said the suspension is until further notice.
Bill Gates is making moves to put ChatGPT bar in his browser while he gradually removes the usual Google search. Google has raised an eyebrow to this move though, but the intention of it all is that ChatGPT when it replaces Google search, will only give you information as the government wants it to. This means that responses will be streamlined to control your awareness within the narrow concept of the government unlike the vast array of limitless information the regular Google search will provide for you.
You see, Lamy citizens across the world has lost trust in their governments and a survey conducted showed that trust of the people in their government has dropped an average of 40% ever since the pandemic.
The New Zealand Prime minister that just resigned was as a result of outcry of the citizens that they don't want her anymore ever since she introduced and signed the "climate conservation act" into law. This act when implemented will have far reaching consequences on the freedom and choice of citizens.
Remember that the prime minister is a member of the WEF. And so are Justin Trudeau, Ridhi Sunak, Liz Truss and that France prime minister.
The WEF is all about diabolism, control and dictatorship in manner that even China and Russia totalitarian or socialist governments will be child's play.
The WEF is about "You will own nothing, and you will be happy".
Really love your analysis. It all make sense here!
Dawinlove: People like to focus on things that did not happen but don't talk about the ones said that happened. Have you ever asked yourself why out of many prophecies some fail to occur? Also, have you any idea about the timing of event spiritually. While I am busy kneeling for hours at night praying to receive what God is saying, I believe you might be sleeping all night to come open this thread and talk about something that did not happen. On the thread you read that, why did you follow it. Is It not because you want update on events due to the ones that happened. I know I posted that and am not ashame of it, if the timing is not December, that prophecy can still come to pass or God mercy through prayer stopped it. Have you ever seen a womaniser who was told will have HIV and later repented and God averted it?
I didn't expect that a simple question would trigger this defensive and emotional outburst from you. I just asked you a simple question. If you like, you can spend all year kneeling down praying for revelations for self aggrandisement. It is not enough to have a small dream and then come all over nairaland translating your dreams into prophesies and even putting a timeline on dreams whose full understanding you probably don't have.
In Nigeria, we need responsible leaders to run the country, not prophesies. Better governed nations of the world are not run by men of God or religious people as we have in Nigeria today. This responsibility is placed upon the shoulders of men, not God. So instead of dishing out prophesies, use the same energy to admonish people to get their PVCs and go out on election days to elect credible people into offices. Even though God reigns supreme in the affairs of men, the above statement is man's responsibility not God's.
I do not know of your prophesies/predictions that came to pass as you tried to validate and praise yourself, or the ones that certain prayers averted. As long as people do not perform their civic duties and rightly elect capable hands into elective positions, people like you will continue to reel out prophesies upon prophesies about issues that are not paramount in the mind of God for this dispensation.
GOTVee: Even though I'm a born again Christian, this policy is targeted at those Anambra criminals using drug money to finance labour party noise all over the country. Their labour is finally in vain. God bless the federal government and our Muslim brothers and sisters
