Car TalkRe: Picture Of Bugatti Veyron In Abuja. by basher(m): 7:29pm On Jul 01, 2012
9jadelta: the car cost around 1.5 to 2million which is abt 200million.. Which igbo trader will waste such money on car exept he is politician or a ritualist (even satan no dey give that kind money to ritualist)
So every Igbo man is a trader? If we have to reason that way, does that make every Niger deltan a kidnapper, creek pirate or armed robber?
EducationRe: Covenant Varsity Produces 88 First Class Students by basher(m): 8:52am On Jul 01, 2012
Ridiculous!! Mickey Mouse degrees! Who do they think they are fooling? 88 1st class degrees? No wonder Nigerian parents are breaking the bank to send their children to universities outside Nigeria; any university outside will do.

I bet all the multinationals in Nigeria are falling over themselves to employ one of these 88 1st class graduates **rolls eyes**.

Yeah right!

Christianity EtcRe: Did African Religions Need To Be Substituted? by basher(m): 2:19am On Jun 29, 2012
It was inevitable. The logic & simplicity of Christianity & Islam was just too much for our African religions to withstand. Same thing happened to British, Irish, Roman, German, Greek, etc traditional religions. They were also swept away, albeit hundreds of years earlier, by the great force of those religions from the Middle East.

ayosmiles: I used to have this girlfriend I loved so much that I would go to her place, sleepover and cook her breakfast. On weekends I would help her tidy her room before takin her out. When she left me, I thought she felt I was too attached but now she's back beggin me to come back, sayin she made a mistake and no guy could care 4 her like me.

Guys, is it wise to do those things for your woman? Girls, will you appreciate a guy that does that?
It's people like u that make things difficult for us. I like my women in high heels, short skirt, bright red lipstick, no panties or bra, slutty as hell, cooking & cleaning, and ready to bendover on demand angry

jason123: Logic dictates that SSoutherners and Northerners should have a sizeable portion of such banks if that was the case, isn't it? C'mon man, let's think! cool
Your logic will only make sense if d attitudes of d N & SS towards d Igbos are different from the SW.
CareerRe: Tribalism In Nigerian Banks' Employment by basher(m): 7:37pm On Jun 21, 2012
samkoro: Yorubas open accounts only in Yoruba banks, they rarely open account in any Igbo owned bank cos they feel that if situations arises all their money may be converted to five naira just like Awolowo converted all Igbo money to five pounds. That's the bitter truth.

Another truth is that Igbos don't exhibit tribalism in choosing banks to open account.

I hereby call on Igbos to change their accounts to Igbo banks cos its safer there. If you Doubt it ask J J okocha and the Sarakis societe generale. They coverted Okochas money to a coaching job at Kwara football Academy
You've got a point here. Also, how many Yorubas are prepared to go and work in a bank filled and controlled by "omo Igbos"? Many would rather remain jobless. This probably explains the situation at diamond bank!
CareerRe: Tribalism In Nigerian Banks' Employment by basher(m): 7:12pm On Jun 21, 2012
badesco: Your assertion is quite right, that is naija for us. The one i am disgust about
is that of Union Bank, despite is Fg property, the so call igbos ensures that
they plant their selves in this our bank, thereby making it look as if it igbo bank,
that is to show how greedy some part of this country can be. Tribalism will continue
as far as this Nigeria is still alive.
Your barely disguised Igbo-hatred took away the shine from any point that you were supposed to be making here.

It most be extremely boring working in a place filled with on one tribe though.

This Site Gives You Info On Airlines And The Ages Of Their Planes
http://www.planespotters.net/Production_List/Country/Nigeria
It's not the age of the aircraft that's the problem angry The problem is poor maintainance culture, cutting corners, woeful (typically nigerian) bad management, and very weak corrupt regulation of the industry.

If you like, buy brand new spanking planes for all of them and they'll still contrive to run them down to death traps in a short time.

It's the same thing with cars. Some people buy sweet brand new cars, and after a year, you'll weep when you see how badly the car has been maintained. Meanwhile, a twenty year old well maintained car will be busy racking up the miles. Heck, in Europe and USA there are lots of 100 year old cars that are well maintained and still road worthy!

It's just so typically Nigerian to conclude that brand new = good, all the time. When will we learn huh

bknight: Funny but dis reminds of a friend's elder sister who is married with kids. Heck! She was fine!!! thoroughly curved 8 et al. When she came visiting and we met at her brother's place, she was always all over me asking if I've eaten (without even asking her brother d guy go dey boil cheesy) when we're all going out she'd always want us to end up in same car while other are in another. Once we were all going somewhere, she kept dragging at feet around till we were both d last two to come out, peeps must've bn wondering wat was up. She'd even open and hold a door for me. It became very embarrassing for me, I always wished she didn't do all these. Other friends noticed, d guy's elder brother too must've noticed. This went on for a while. It was only when I stayed over at d guy crib she'd cook and send her maid to bring food over to guys. The guy definitely noticed but neva said a thing. Then all of a sudden, she stopped acting like that, she suddenly started going distant and cold undecided Later I realized my friend cooked up funny lies to her. Though he played dirty, I was thankful. The serious embarrassments ended. But when she gets to find out her brother sold her lies (maybe to discredit me), she might shift gear from an ordinary crush to falling deep in love! #Maybe dat time d guy go get cardiac arrest n die grin

Op, u can play dirty too, tell ugly stories to discredit him n piss ya mum off (taken dat this ya story is true and dat ur mum's aware)
U wasted too much time buddy & lost face too. I was in similar situation with a friends aunt & I hit her the very day I met her and gave all those signals. Your friend didn't tell her nothing, she just lost patience. Abi u wan make she open t*t* down for u b4 u get d message?

shymmex: The problem with Nigeria are Nigerians themselves, simple...

A country with utterly corrupt leaders, and docile followers - who only care about what they eat today, and not the future = Nigeria, the greatest disappointment to humanity.
Well said bros! Problem with Nigeria is Nigerians! Over sabi, over confidence, over doing, over dressing, all the overs. We tend to bulldoze our way into people and things (which could be good thing in some instances), but what good is power without control?

Something needs to happen to humble us and bring us to our senses. All our out of control pride and confidence has to be tamed, then maybe we can see a way forward.
