The western mode of bringing up children and of life generally is just too liberal. It intoxicates adults not to talk of kids who are not old enough to think for themselves. They spend their life pushing the limits of their rights and exploring the boundaries of what should be and what should not that at the end of the day, most of them do not even know where the comfortable balance is. So much so that even though they are considered adults earlier than we do our kids down here, ours tend to be more in comformance than they do.

akiesony: Sadly, this is not the first or only time. Everytime I see such threads, I do not necessarily blame the posters but the moderators/nairaland owners. Someone was jailed cuz of comments about patrice muamba and comments removed. Hopefully the day of reckoning is coming for the owners of nairaland when they will be liable for their irresponsibilities.
Their bias and inconsistencies is typical of the corruption pervading Nigeria.

akiesony: Unfortunately, D average yoruba person is two faced, double standard, back stabbing, scheming and tribalistic. you must never take what they say at face value but must try to see the real motive behind their actions most times. In this case, the comments about 'igbos' is so blatant that I suspect it was posted to just instigate and generate response / comments for nairaland.
I think it is about time a parallel Nigerian forum is set up that can compete with Facebook in terms of content, decorum and proper conduct.

brinell: I do respect both DBang and Don Jazzy, but I think that its below par for DBang to talk about what he bought (personal) for a friend. Its like me demanding a return of gifts I gave to a girlfriend after we quit! Too low abeg! It was all good, and no one can say the other star became on its own. They all assisted each other to get to the height they are now. No logical argument will give all credit to one of them only.

In my opinion, Don Jazzy prepared the base that harnessed DBanj's talent and he in turn brought the needed funds and shot the MO'HIT label higher. This is mutual benefit, so it would be childish to waste time here arguing who is better or who did more. To me, this is bound to happen sometime, but then again, there is a contract with Kanye. So how do they work together. Dem no go see each other?
