Pls excuse me as I deviate slightly but still on a similar issue. How come its aways igbo & yoruba trading diabolical insults on Naira Land? Other tribes seem to be immune from this vicious pastime. Taking NL as a 'polling sample' (for want of a better phrase), can one conclude that the source of one of Nigeria's biggest headachess is the casual but devilish hatred between these two nations? Can one even go further to say that Nigeria would probably be a much more conducive place without their wicked rivalry or if they were romoved from the equation entirely? |
What stopped me from running after hitting? The honey pot was so sweet that I had to hit it again & again & again. Eventually, I moved it in with me & I finally had to wife it to ensure regular daily hitting! |

booqee: Btw, those shoes are d ugliest i've seen so far. MtchewwThe shoes are there to distract lesbos & dirty ol men from gawping at her "well toned thighs". |
naijababe: That was due to the fallout of the Mid east crisis in the 70s rather than North sea coming on stream.U r correct. North sea played a part though. |
It will be early 80s all over again, when north sea oil came on stream. Cue massive devaluation of naira, austerity measures, ban on importation of most things, music industry wiped out,.. Military? |
i see that there are levels. Once you reach the level where you native ethnicity is not the dominate ethnicity, then you see a true cosmopolitan lifestyle emerge. Our governors and Federal government need to start considering ways to open their states and capitals up to more foreigners.i would like to see Owerri build a grand mosque and a china town. it would do unseen wonders for any city stuck in it's ethnic enclave. Lagos has a long way to go, but it's openness as set an example on productivity, civility, and cooperation that the rest of the nation needs to follow
I don't really think Lagos had a choice in evolving the way it has. It was chosen by the British as the administrative capital of Nigeria the same way Nairobi was for Kenya; Accra for Ghana; etc etc. Of course, factors like it having a naturally deep harbour for shipping helped. Do you think it will have been any different if the British had chosen Warri or Benin as administrative capital & it had remained so till we moved to Abuja? Port Harcourt is an oil city with oil jobs & business, so it attracts various people. Abuja is our fct & it had billions thrown at it. |
Paul John: Even the Lagos we boast of is yet to possess the excellent quality of what a city is.The topic here is not Wether Nigeria is ahead or in front. Even in cities like London ther are issues around crime that is not present in Lagos. In London, people are stabbed, shot, strangled, butchered & go missing on a daily basis. Women are dragged into the bushes and raped. Young children are constantly preyed on by paedophiles. Muggings are of the scale. The police are overwhelmed. |
Nothing wrong with the song or video. Maybe it was lacking a bit of Afrobeat melody, but all together, not bad ![]() |
pcwhiz: Wia did ds one drop frm, height(hight), super super dark, brown eyes and straight white teeth?.?..dt sounds like a horror film character..U wan make laff kill me? |
This kind of professionalising scheme should be introduced into the Nigerian police force. If only states were allowed to set up & control their own police forces! Speaking about police, won't they be targeting these ajebutter truck drivers? Double roger for dangote driver! |
Thank you for starting this thread. (Please excuse my abrevs & Lang, I'm typing from a tiny BB) I've been a fan of yours since stumbling across a comment u made & saying to myself; who d fck is dis? I clicked thru to your profile & saw a pic of a woman bent over, azz up in d air with panties showing through see through leggings. Said to myself, this Aint her pic, she Aint Nigerian or she hasn't had "IT" properly for a while. Well, all my assumptions were blasted away when I browsed through your diary; you are as real as fresh hot shiiit! And as gutsy as hell. If I had half the guts you have, I'd be dragging richest Nigerian with dangote! I've got no questions to ask; its there. You are living your life d way YOU want & it doesn't really matter what drives you to share some of it on NL. |
chucky234: Laila change the title to Pictures of Annie Idibia's store abi that place resemble boutique.Na d same ting I wan tuk b4 too. D place b like stall. I sure say she get small 3 legged wooden stool Wey she go dey use mind d place. |
Kai! If I got a penny each time 'Igbo', 'Ibo' or 'Igbo' was used on nairaland, I would have built a mansion from that income stream alone. |
omenziate: Omo onile and agbero issue is a big problem, could remember when chuddy K was interviewed by a TV host, he said he spent close to 3mil on the gaga crazy video, he had to settle about 6 factions of agberos/omo onile who had the intention to vandalise and beat demOmo onile & Agbero? Bunch of useless weed smoking lazy bastards. Why fashola no dey see all these ones? Instead he go dey run him mouth dey ask hard working people to "return to their village". |
This is an insult to the rest of Nigeria! This Lagos that has been developed with money from all over Nigeria since colonial times. This Lagos that is still being developed with taxes from the enterprises of people from all over Nigeria. This Lagos whose commerce is fuelled by seaports, airports etc, built with money from all over Nigeria. Remember that Nigeria is a volatile evolving country & nothing is set in stone? Have u ever stopped & pondered what the fate of Lagos will be if all the facilities that can are developed & d environment conducive in the regions & everyone actually went back to their villages? Does it occurr to u guys that Lagos is profiting immensely due to d fact that Nigeria cannot get its act right & that we r still one country? I saw first hand what happened in the 90s when oil companies started relocating their operational HQs to PH & a lot of people were not smiling - imagine that happening in multiple sectors? What an arrogant short sited thing to say from a man who is intent on biting the many hands that feed him. I pray these words do not come round to haunt him or his descendants. |
geezyk: There's this frnd of mine whom I'm also suspecting of being involved in rituals,he has this money on a daily basis and he spends excessively on drinks and liquor, everyone around him at that time drinks to stupor, but wat baffles me is that he'll never give u money to pay for the drinks or even give u money to eat even when u're about to die.. And moreover he still stays at his parents house.. In a week we spend in excess of 300k on drinks only..he has no car,no house and he rarely buys clothes, buh frm wat I noticed,I think he's using some ppls aura for his wealth,So as a bad sharp guy I just decided to keep away frm him b4 he eventually starts using mine.....Choi! Na small pikin Dem I dey follow yarn since? |
saxywale: The human body is used in ritual sacrifice to conjure spirits. Sad innit, but that's just how wicked people can go to amass fake wealth and fame. Bottom line, Satan the master of the earth and its hidden knowledge gives nothing for free, there is always a payback time.Anybody who has d power to make another man to have the ability make any business he touches prosper exceedingly, will be d most powerful man in d world, period. He won't be sitting down in some village in SW Nigeria. It doesn't matter were the power is coming from, his appointment book will be filled with d most powerful men in dis world & f**k d repercussions. Na once persin dey die. Now, u can quote d bible till your voice goes hoarse & talk about dark forces & shadows of satan (as if to say evil go dey hide), but it won't change anything. Nigeria is indeed a wicked place! So very wealthy people have to pretend that they r very religious (& donate millions to church) for fear of being accused of doing money rituals?! |
Witty07: I feel irritated by some idiots, follows, naïve individuals, hypocrites who says money making is a myth. I am sure 99.9% of u morons are either xtians or muslim. By d reason of ur religion u believe that satan exists which means u believe in spirituality. Why do u pray to God to touch ur situation positively. Have u eva wonder when they say someone slept and wakes up no more. Have science manufactured urine or feaces. Its idiots like u all that fall prey for ritauls cos u have decided to claim ignorant of evil deeds. Better learn,be wise and knw when u c one. My prayer is dat vodoo shall neva catch u unaware cos it happens.Evil does exist - hitler, stalin, plankMan in Aluu 4 killing, Brevik, Cynthia osukogu's killers, fake pastor nyashing DAT madam in Warri. That was all evil in manifestation. Or r u waiting 2 c human being turn into goat(which in itself isn't evil) before you brand something evil? We see evil everyday & ignore it but simple minds want 2 c signs & wonders before their attention is caught. That is y charlatans in d guise of pastors, herbalists, spiritualists & native doctors are having a field day in Nigeria. Making money magically appear (if its possible)is not evil, that would be brilliant science. Anybody with such powers will b 1 of d most powerful men on dis earth. Repercussions? Since when has man been afraid of repercussions? They say smoke weed u go craze, smoke ciga u go die, nack ashawo without condom u go get aids, do coke & you'll wreck yourself, push drug 2 & u fit die. Does man listen? |
val_dubem: Until one of you doubters will loose ur head @ dis Zuma Rock area, then you will know that money ritual isn't just real, their shrines re closer to you than U ever thought/imaginedLoosing your head to money ritualists does not mean that it works. It just means that one more backward gullible MoFkng Ni**er has just been duped and another innocent soul lost pointlessly. |
Sirniyeh: Euromillion, na wa for you o!You are a joker or a peddler of fake charms & rituals. Start your own business and thrive it with your herbal energizer or whatever u call it. Come back to us when you've bought your first private jet. There is only one positive I can see from charms & amulets. If you indulge in it & u actually believe in it, it can give u d confidence & self believe to go forth in business & other endeavours because u believe that its already a done deal(because u were told so if u follow d rules). However, this is just psychology & d same effects can be gotten from christainity or other religions. This effect can be seen in many yoruba people, who are by nature or culture or both, very strong believers. |
Sirniyeh: Pikin will always talk like pikin. Nobody will speak beyond the level of his understanding. It is only fools that will not believe in voodoo power. Money ritual is real, very very real. God is the creator of all this stuff, recipe for the rituals. This has been in existence since the time of MOSES in the bible. The secret behind it is that they invoke spirit to bring the money, and it varies. In year 2000, my barber did one type, after he used the soap, this gentle man walked in to his shop early morning and asked him to barb his hair. Immediately the man entered, he just left a briefcase full of dollar and left. The man will never come back for it. This man is a ghost. Till today, this man is no more barber but millionaire.People like u(& those who liked your comment) make me sick to d guts. Gullible SOBs. It is people like u that make others believe that this shyte exists, a self perpetuating myth fuelled by fools & weak willed people in the most backward and undeveloped parts of the world. Do u know how many innocent souls that r lost to this wicked & most barbaric scam every day in Africa? Its very rare that anybody who has been duped in this way will reveal his ordeal because he would have 2 admit taking a human soul(s). I just pray that people like u do not hold public office or position of authority because you will fall 4 anything going. |
booqee: How is it even possible to be addicted to sending nak.ed pics?? Ah ah?! I don't even know wat to say. Pple can be addicted to browsing, eating certain foods, drinking, smoking, e.t.c but sending pix sound foolish to my ears..dunno why.People can be addicted same way people get addicted to looking up porn. Also, he/she must be a bit of an exhibitionist. |
